Fri Sep 27 201316:45Warren starting Friday vs. Astros
Adam Warren will start Friday against the Astros.
This will be his third major league start. Warren, 26, owns a 3.63 ERA and 60/29 K/BB ratio over 72 innings this season. It's tough to trust him in fantasy leagues, even with the juicy matchup.

Tue Aug 20 201322:34Adam Warren to start on Wednesday
Adam Warren will start on Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
The Yankees needed a spot starter following Tuesday's doubleheader. Warren holds a 3.57 ERA and 1.43 WHIP over 58 relief innings for the Yanks this season and should be avoided for fantasy purposes.

Fri Jun 14 201318:52Yankees option Adam Warren to Triple-A
Yankees optioned RHP Adam Warren to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Warren gets the unfortunate demotion after hurling six innings of scoreless relief in Thursday's 18-inning loss to the Athletics. He posted a 3.12 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 34 2/3 innings on the season, and will surely be back with the team at some point this summer.

Fri Jun 14 201302:10Warren hurls six scoreless innings of relief
Adam Warren hurled six scoreless innings of relief in Thursday's 18-inning loss to the A's.
Warren, who began his work in the 11th inning, allowed four hits and two walks, striking out four. After giving up nine runs over his last two appearances, Warren may have been pitching for his job against Oakland. He now holds a 3.12 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 34 2/3 innings.

Thu Mar 14 201317:28Adam Warren pounded for eight runs
A day after getting optioned out by the Yankees, Adam Warren gave up eight runs in 1 1/3 innings Thursday against the Blue Jays.
It's rather odd that the Yankees would demote Warren and then have him pitch the next day. Not so odd is that Warren would have a bad outing under the circumstances. This will be the 25-year-old's third year in Triple-A after he posted ERAs of 3.60 and 3.71 for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre the last two seasons.

Sun Feb 24 201316:00Adam Warren goes two scoreless
Adam Warren started and pitched two hitless innings versus a Blue Jays split-squad on Sunday.
He hit Brett Lawrie with a fastball in the second, but he was otherwise perfect. Warren would need to turn in a fantastic spring to have any chance of overtaking both Ivan Nova and David Phelps for a spot in the Yankees rotation. The bullpen could be a possibility, but most likely, he'll open another season in Triple-A.
