Mon Jul 29 201323:47Kyle Lohse goes six scoreless in no-decision
Kyle Lohse tossed six scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Monday.
Wiht a 3.22 ERA in 22 starts, Lohse has been everything the Brewers hoped he'd be when they signed him this spring. Now they have to decide whether it's worth keeping him with the idea of getting back into the NL Central race next year. It'd take a pretty good package to persuade them to make a move.

Fri Jul 26 201315:25Teams asking about Kyle Lohse
CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that teams have asked the Brewers about the availability of Kyle Lohse.
It sounds like the Brewers are willing to move him, but it will come at a steep price. "We do not have a mandate to move dollars," a Milwaukee source told Heyman. "It has to be a prospect package that works for us -- an overpay-type deal." Lohse is drawing more interest than rotation mate Yovani Gallardo, which is no surprise given a 2.30 ERA over his last 10 starts. The righty also boasts a 3.17 mark since the beginning of the 2011 campaign.

He'll take a 3.37 ERA into his matchup against the Cubs at Wrigley on Monday.

Kyle Lohse allowed one run over six innings in a no-decision against the Astros on Wednesday.
Lohse can't buy a win. The right-hander has limited teams to two earned runs over his last two starts with no wins to show for it, and he's won just two games all season. It doesn't take away from the effort on Wednesday, as he allowed six hits and two walks, striking out five. He'll look for better luck Tuesday against the Cubs.

Sun Jun 9 201316:44Lohse goes eight strong, Brewers beat Phils
Kyle Lohse tossed eight innings of one-run ball Sunday in the Brewers' 9-1 win over the Phillies.
Lohse didn't allow a run until Humberto Quintero launched a solo shot to right-center field in the top of the eighth inning. Lohse wound up yielding just four hits in all and he struck out six batters while issuing only one walk. The veteran righty has been hot and cold all season and is not a very good mixed league fantasy option.

Wed Jun 5 201300:41Lohse takes no-decision as Brewers defeat A's
Kyle Lohse allowed three runs over six innings on Tuesday, taking a no-decision as the Brewers beat the A's.
Lohse was victimized by two Yoenis Cespedes homers, but he kept the A's otherwise at bay over the course of the night. Lohse hasn't pitched poorly this year but is just 1-6 and without a win since April 22 to show for it. He'll search for his second win of the season on Sunday against the Phillies.

Fri May 31 201300:14Kyle Lohse gives up career-high four homers
Kyle Lohse, who missed his last start with a sore elbow, gave up six runs and four homers in 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Twins on Thursday.
Lohse probably wasn't ready to pitch tonight. It's the first time he's ever given up four homers in an outing, and it's the first time since Aug. 2001 that he's allowed six earned runs. If his elbow doesn't bounce back over the next couple of days, he still might end up on the DL.

Mon May 27 201318:29Kyle Lohse (elbow) in line to start Thursday
Kyle Lohse (elbow) is on track to start on Thursday after a successful bullpen session Monday.
The Brewers had removed Lohse's name from Thursday's scheduled starters list, which prompted worry that he had a setback with his sore elbow. It appears that he's fine, though, and will take the ball against the Twins. Lohse has just one win this season but sports a solid 3.76 ERA and 1.27 WHIP.

Sun May 26 201311:29Kyle Lohse's start now listed as TBA
Kyle Lohse's (elbow) scheduled start on Thursday is now listed by the Brewers as "to be announced."
It certainly could be a sign that he's now expected to miss the start, though the Brewers have yet to announce as much. Lohse has already missed one turn due to a sore pitching elbow, and it appears that he could be sidelined a bit longer.

Wed May 22 201313:04Kyle Lohse's elbow issue is lingering
Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said Wednesday that Kyle Lohse began feeling discomfort in his right elbow "two or three starts ago" and was recovering slower than usual between starts.
As a result, the Brewers have scratched him from his next scheduled start on Saturday. The Brewers are hopeful that it's not a major issue, but this isn't what you want to hear from someone who is in the first year of a three-year, $33 million contract.

Wed May 22 201311:57Kyle Lohse (elbow) scratched from next start
Kyle Lohse will not make his next scheduled start on Saturday due to right elbow irritation.
The description of his condition is rather vague, but the Brewers should provide more information soon. Mike Fiers will start in his place Saturday against the Pirates. Lohse allowed four runs in six innings Sunday against the Cardinals and owns a 3.76 ERA and 37/10 K/BB ratio in 55 innings across nine starts this season.

Kyle Lohse allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings of a no-decision against the Pirates on Tuesday.
Lohse was in line for the win before John Axford blew the one-run lead in the eighth inning. The right-hander wasn't terribly sharp on the night, allowing five hits and five walks, but he still did his part to limit the damage to just two runs. He'll continue the search for his second win Sunday in St. Louis against his former squad.

He has now surrendered four earned runs in two straight starts but still holds a decent 3.53 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 43 1/3 innings with Milwaukee. The 34-year-old right-hander can be started in NL-only fantasy leagues next week against the Pirates.
