Cowgill (nose) could be activated prior to Monday's game with the Dodgers, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Cowgill, who is recovering from a broken nose, has played the last two games at Triple-A Salt Lake, going 3-for-8. Once activated, he'll settle into a reserve role in the Angels outfield.
