Thu Mar 13 201420:39Iron Mike Dunleavy gets 10 stitches, returns
Mike Dunleavy returned to Thursday's game after receiving 10 stitches above his right eye.
He took another charge in the first 90 seconds of the second half and the stitches haven't made him gun shy. Dunleavy should be good to go the rest of the way and there are not any concussion concerns for the 33-year-old swingman.

Thu Mar 13 201419:59Mike Dunleavy suffers major bleeding to face
Mike Dunleavy ran to the locker room after an inadvertent elbow to the face from Chandler Parsons during the second quarter of Thursday's game.
He was bleeding profusely and will undoubtedly need stitches to seal up the cut above his eye. What's more, the elbow was so hard it might require Dunleavy to go through concussion testing. Tony Snell would be the main beneficiary while D.J. Augustin would get a slight bump. To be clear, it was a clean play by Parsons.

Fri Feb 28 201423:42Mike D keeps it going against Dallas
Mike Dunleavy kept exceeding expectations with 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in a whopping 42 minutes on Friday against the Mavs.
Dunleavy is playing massive minutes for Tom Thibodeau and he has taken over D.J. Augustin's scoring load for the Bulls. He's putting up mid-round numbers right now and owners are wise to ask how long he can stay healthy and/or keep this up, but selling high should be done with a bit of caution knowing the only threat to his role is his own health.

Thu Feb 27 201400:17Mike Dunleavy scores 15 points vs. Warriors
Mike Dunleavy played well against his former team on Wednesday during a 103-83 win, scoring 15 points with four boards, three assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers.
He's heating up again with a 22-point game coming on Tuesday. Jimmy Butler did not play on Tuesday and was back tonight, so Wednesday's game is a better example of what Dunleavy's value looks like. He's probably worth owning in standard leagues despite Tony Snell getting more run.

Tue Feb 25 201422:40Mike Dunleavy plays full 48 minutes vs. Hawks
Mike Dunleavy played all 48 minutes of Tuesday's victory in Atlanta, finishing with 22 points, four 3-pointers, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.
He made 6-of-15 FGs and 6-of-6 FTs, and his four assists don't tell the full story of his tremendous passing. It's been over a month since he cracked the 20-point plateau and the absence of Jimmy Butler (ribs) contributed to his big evening, but Dunleavy is a worthwhile fantasy option in most leagues with February averages of 9.6 points, 1.1 threes, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks.

Tue Feb 18 201411:02Report: Bulls unlikely to trade Mike Dunleavy
The Bulls reportedly "[don't] appear willing" to trade Mike Dunleavy, according to USA Today's Sam Amick.
The Rockets had expressed interest in Dunleavy but the Bulls are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and it seems they'd rather keep him for a playoff run. The veteran swingman will earn a reasonable $3.3 million next season, in the final year of his contract, and the Bulls have no pressing need to unload him.

Thu Feb 13 201422:53Mike Dunleavy scores 14 points in 32 minutes
Mike Dunleavy played 32 minutes against the Nets on Thursday with 14 points, five boards, one assist, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.
He had a couple defensive lapses earlier in the game, but he was able to turn in one of his better lines in a long time. Still, Dunleavy averaged 10.6 points, 4.2 boards, 0.9 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.1 triples in his previous 10 games, so he's worth owning in standard leagues for his multiple-category production.

Tue Feb 11 201423:11Mike Dunleavy plays well in win over Hawks
Mike Dunleavy hit 7-of-14 shots and a 3-pointer on his way to 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in Tuesday's win over the Hawks.
This was his highest scoring night in nine games, along with one of his best lines in recent memory. He was helped by the absence of Carlos Boozer (calf) and should be owned in most leagues. But whether you start him from week to week will be determined by your other options.

Fri Feb 7 201401:34Mike Dunleavy is really struggling right now
Mike Dunleavy couldn't get it going against his former team on Thursday during a 102-87 loss at Golden State, scoring seven points with seven boards, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes.
He's slumping once again. In his last five games, Dunleavy shot 27.0 percent from the field for averages of 8.6 points, 3.6 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, 0.6 steals and 0.6 treys. His stats have translated very well to fantasy over his last few seasons, so he's worth owning in hopes he'll be able to turn it around.

Wed Jan 22 201423:27Mike Dunleavy scores 22 points vs. Cavs
Mike Dunleavy was in a groove against the Cavs on Wednesday, making 9-of-14 from the field for 22 points with two boards, four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
The Bulls are one of the worst 3-point shooting teams, but they knocked down 10-of-21 thanks to Dunleavy and D.J. Augustin. His minutes were trending down, but he was still getting plenty of shots while earning a steal in each of his last five games. Dunleavy isn't going to be your favorite player on your fantasy team, but he's still worth owning in standard leagues.

Wed Jan 15 201423:20Mike Dunleavy played 29 minutes
Mike Dunleavy played 29 minutes against the Magic on Wednesday with 11 points, six boards, six assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.
He saw less minutes than rookie Tony Snell and it probably had something to do with the triple-overtime factor. Dunleavy is averaging 28.6 minutes per game on the season and the Bulls have kept him in that neighborhood more often than not. He's worth owing in standard leagues for his multiple-category production.

Sat Jan 11 201423:10Mike Dunleavy scores 17 points in 35 minutes
Mike Dunleavy got hot early vs. the Bobcats, finishing with 17 points on 8-of-17 shooting, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and just one turnover in 35 minutes.
The veteran swingman is a reliable perimeter shooter with just enough versatility to reward owners in 25-30 minutes per game. He stepped up tonight with Jimmy Butler (quad) unavailable, but with Luol Deng gone there's no reason to expect a drop-off from Dunleavy. It's worth mentioning that he's been mentioned as a trade target, with the Warriors and Rockets said to be among the teams with interest.

Thu Jan 9 201413:40Mike Dunleavy (elbow) ready to play Friday
Mike Dunleavy (hyperextended elbow) was able to practice on Thursday.
He should be ready to go on Friday after hurting himself in a start at SF on Tuesday. He he scored eight points with seven rebounds in 28 minutes in that game, and should play big minutes now that Luol Deng is gone.

Thu Jan 9 201409:18Report: Rockets interested in Mike Dunleavy
Mike Dunleavy is reportedly "high on [the Rockets'] wish list" as the trade deadline approaches.
After Chicago blew up their core by trading Luol Deng for financial relief and draft picks, it's understandable that guys like Dunleavy and Kirk Hinrich would pop up in trade rumors (Hinrich has been linked to the Warriors and other teams). ESPN Chicago has also speculated that Dunleavy will be traded this season, but it's hard to imagine a more favorable fantasy situation for him than the one he's inherited with Deng out of town.

Wed Jan 8 201401:18Mike Dunleavy scores eight points in start
Mike Dunleavy scored eight points in a start at small forward on Tuesday, adding seven boards, one assist, one block and two turnovers in 28 minutes.
He is going to be in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future with Luol Deng out of town. Dunleavy has shown he's capable of putting up some well-rounded fantasy production across the board, so he's worth owning in all standard leagues.

Tue Jan 7 201409:49Mike Dunleavy could eventually be traded?
ESPN Chicago believes Mike Dunleavy could be traded down the line.
Dunleavy is going to see a boost in minutes and role in the wake of the Luol Deng trade, but he's a veteran piece that is not part of the rebuild project now going on in Chicago. If the Bulls can get an asset for him at the deadline, don't be surprised if they jump on it. But before that happens, Dunleavy is certainly worth an add in all formats as he soaks up some of Deng's departed 37.4 minutes. He was already averaging 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 treys per game.

Tue Jan 7 201402:10Mike Dunleavy looks like starting SF now
With Luol Deng on his way to the Cavaliers, it looks like Mike Dunleavy will be first in line to get a shot at the starting small forward job in Chicago.
Jimmy Butler and Tony Snell will also see a bigger role with Deng gone, but for now, Dunleavy looks like the best pick up if you're looking to add a player to your fantasy roster.

Sun Jan 5 201401:40Mike Dunleavy scores 20 in win over Hawks
Mike Dunleavy got hot and hit 9-of-14 shots and two 3-pointers on his way to 20 points, three rebounds, zero assists, one steal and one block in 28 minutes on Saturday.
Dunleavy's been trending down since Luol Deng and Jimmy Butler got healthy, but has played pretty well in each of his last three games, averaging 14.7 points, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.7 3-pointers. He's no longer a must-start fantasy play with Deng and Butler healthy, but is probably worth hanging onto in most leagues.

Sat Dec 28 201323:58Mike Dunleavy quiet in ugly loss to Mavs
Mike Dunleavy hit 3-of-9 shots (zero 3-pointers) for six points, three boards, four assists and a steal in Saturday's ugly loss against the Mavs.
Dunleavy had scored in double figures in three straight games and Jimmy Butler was seen limping after the game, as his toe injury is still an issue. Dunleavy is no longer a must-start in fantasy with Butler back in action, and things could get worse once Luol Deng is back from his Achilles problem. Dunleavy is still worth holding in deeper leagues, but owners in 12-team leagues and smaller might be able to do better off the waiver wire.

Thu Dec 19 201322:59Mike Dunleavy plays 36 minutes vs. OKC
Mike Dunleavy was back in the starting lineup due to an injury to Luol Deng on Thursday, scoring 11 points with two boards, six assists and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
The Bulls also lost Jimmy Butler to an ankle injury, allowing Dunleavy to get serious minutes on the wing. He leads the team in triples per game and 3-point percentage, so the Bulls will need to use him in some capacity for spacing. Dunleavy is worth a look in standard leagues.
