Thu Dec 19 201302:06Mike Dunleavy scores nine points vs. Rockets
Mike Dunleavy scored nine points in 20 minutes against the Rockets, while adding three boards, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer on 4-of-8 shooting.
While it's hardly an eye-catching line, the solid shooting at least doesn't make it a total loss. We've likely seen the best of of Dunleavy this season, but his ability to post well-rounded lines should keep him in the mix as a low-end standard league play.

Tue Dec 17 201301:14Mike D scores 14 points with seven boards
Mike Dunleavy scored 14 points off the bench in Monday's loss to the Magic, hitting 5-of-9 shots (including two treys) with seven rebounds and a block in 27 minutes.
After a inauspicious start in a prominent role for the Bulls, Dunleavy has really settled in over the past two weeks with top-50 fantasy value, averaging 14.7 points with 1.7 threes, 5.4 boards, 2.4 assists and a combined 1.6 steals and blocks over his last seven contests.

Sat Dec 14 201323:17Dunleavy scores off the bench vs. Raptors
Mike Dunleavy played 23 minutes off the bench on Saturday with a line of 14 points, three boards, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer.
The Bulls are getting healthy and Dunleavy will likely come off the bench for the foreseeable future. He's one of the better offensive options on the team, so it's possible he can sustain some level of value with scoring in the low teens and some other stats along the way. His upside won't be too high, though.

Sat Dec 14 201300:49Mike Dunleavy hits game-winning 3-pointer
Mike Dunleavy started at small forward again on Friday and had 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, a steal and banked in the game-winning 3-pointer to beat the Bucks.
Dunleavy's ugly shot worked out well, but his run should be ready to come to an end. Jimmy Butler was back in the starting lineup tonight and Luol Deng could return from his injury on Saturday. It was a nice run, and while Dunleavy could still offer some value off the bench, owners should start making plans to find a better fantasy option soon.

Wed Dec 11 201322:59Mike Dunleavy scores 20 points vs. Knicks
Mike Dunleavye scored a team-high 20 points against the Knicks on Wednesday to go with eight boards, three assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 45 minutes.
He shot 7-of-24 from the field including 11 attempts from downtown. Dunleavy is hardly an elite scorer, but he's the best the Bulls have right now and is coming off a 24-point game against the Bucks on Tuesday. He'll be worth starting in all leagues at least until Luol Deng (Achilles) comes. back.

Wed Dec 11 201300:06Mike Dunleavy scores 24 points in start
Mike Dunleavy scored a season-high 24 points against his former team on Tuesday with five boards, three assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 44 minutes.
The Bulls need offense in the worst way with four of their opening-night starters injured against the Bucks, so Dunleavy answered the call. He's turned in two consecutive productive games with a 16-point game on Saturday and he should have another opportunity to do something against the Knicks on Wednesday. His long-term value is a little tough to gauge with the eventual returns of Jimmy Butler and Luol Deng, though.

Tue Dec 10 201319:34Hinrich, Snell, Dunleavy, Boozer, Nazr start
Kirk Hinrich, Tony Snell, Mike Dunleavy, Carlos Boozer and Nazr Mohammed are starting against the Bucks on Tuesday.
The Bulls have to shift Taj Gibson to the bench to help offset their lack of depth. Gibson should still be in for a big night while Mike Dunleavy could have some success against this former team.

Sat Dec 7 201322:49Mike Dunleavy notches 16 points w/ full line
Mike Dunleavy was on the upswing in Saturday's home loss, coming off the bench for 16 points, two 3-pointers, six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one turnover.
He played 34 minutes and was a predictably big part of the offense with Luol Deng (calf, Achilles) unavailable tonight. Although his production has swung wildly all season, Dunleavy should be a solid fantasy play if Deng isn't ready to return for a back-to-back set vs. the Bucks (Tuesday) and Knicks (Wednesday).

Fri Dec 6 201300:55Mike Dunleavy falls off in a big way
Mike Dunleavy cooled off in Thursday's win over the Heat with three points, four boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.
He busted out for a 23-point, 48-minute explosion on Monday, but he was almost invisible before that outing. In his three games leading up to Monday, Dunleavy scored a combined seven points and didn't make any 3-pointers. He's stuck in a timeshare with rookie Tony Snell, and even if he heats up, he'll likely get crushed by the return of Jimmy Butler.

Mon Dec 2 201323:55Mike Dunleavy goes off for 23 points
Mike Dunleavy made six 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 23 points with seven boards, five assists, two steals and two turnovers in 48 minutes against the Pelicans on Monday.
He had zero momentum coming into tonight with a combined seven points in his previous three games. Coach Tom Thibodeau leaned heavily on Dunleavy tonight and his 3-point range does seem like a better fit for the Bulls' current roster. He's a better player to own than Tony Snell in fantasy and this game might be able to kickstart him until Jimmy Butler gets back.

Sat Nov 30 201322:36Mike Dunleavy useless in loss to Cavaliers
Mike Dunleavy disappeared again on Saturday, hitting just 1-of-6 shots for two points in 22 minutes off the Bulls' bench.
This is getting ridiculous, as Dunleavy has now hit 3-of-18 shots for a total of seven points in three games since Derrick Rose went down. He's going to catch fire and it's only a matter of when. But until he gets it going and Tony Snell calms down, we would not recommend dropping Dunleavy into a lineup until the slump is busted.

Thu Nov 28 201300:12Mike Dunleavy plays just 18 minutes in win
Mike Dunleavy played just 18 minutes on Wednesday, finishing with two points, seven rebounds and zero 3-pointers in the win.
We were expecting much more from Dunleavy with Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose out, but he's been pretty awful in his last two games. There's still a chance that he'll get hot off the bench and turn it around quickly, but the quick rise of Tony Snell and strong play of Luol Deng aren't helping his cause.

Tue Nov 26 201302:07Dunleavy struggles in first game without Rose
Mike Dunleavy struggled in Monday's game, hitting just 1-of-8 shots for three points to go with two rebounds, three assists and a steal in 36 minutes.
The team was shell-shocked by news of Derrick Rose missing the rest of the season and on the road in an almost-raucous environment in Utah. The good news is that the minutes were there and the production is going to follow, even if Dunleavy is going to show his mileage this season. He should still be owned in most formats.

Sun Nov 24 201318:23Mike Dunleavy scores 14 points
Mike Dunleavy played 30 minutes in another start at shooting guard on Sunday with 14 points, two rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers against the Clippers on Sunday.
This is on par with his average lines in his previous two starts and serves as a fair expectation while Jimmy Butler (toe) is out. Dunleavy should be able to sustain value for much of the season since Kirk Hinrich won't be playing shooting guard anymore, so he's a nice pickup for owners looking to bolster their 3-point production.

Sat Nov 23 201304:03Dunleavy to pick up slack with Rose out
Mike Dunleavy scored 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 32 minutes on Friday.
Dunleavy will likely be called upon for more playmaking duties with Derrick Rose staring down a career-defining injury, and though Dunleavy has question marks about his ability to both produce and stay on the court he has some interesting upside if he can answer the call on both fronts. Especially with Jimmy Butler out, Dunleavy is worth a very hard look in standard formats.

Fri Nov 22 201301:22Mike Dunleavy gets some garbage time
Mike Dunleavy made the most of garbage time on Thursday during a loss to the Nuggets, scoring 15 points with five boards, two assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers on 6-of-11 shooting in 31 minutes.
He scored 12 of those in the final eight minutes of the game, including both 3-pointers. Dunleavy was the only player in the starting lineup to shoot above 50 percent from the field and Chicago was a disaster in the third quarter with just 14 points. Tonight's line isn't too lofty of an expectation with Jimmy Butler out of the lineup for Dunleavy. If you need some scoring and triples, he's worth a look.

Tue Nov 12 201300:29Mike Dunleavy scores 15 points off bench
Mike Dunleavy scored 15 points off the bench on Monday to go with four boards, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes against Cleveland.
He shot 4-of-6 from the field while making all five free throws and he was the best perimeter scorer for the Bulls tonight. Before tonight, Dunleavy averaged just 6.4 points per game in only 19.4 minutes, so he has a lot of work to do in order to make his way into the standard league conversation.

Wed Oct 16 201318:41Mike Dunleavy playing against Detroit
Mike Dunleavy will play against the Pistons for Wednesday night's preseason game.
The team will get a good look at him with Jimmy Butler (knee) out of the lineup. Dunleavy has been great so far in the preseason and has given the team a nice option to help space the floor.

Wed Oct 16 201311:38Mike Dunleavy game-time for Wednesday
Mike Dunleavy will be a game-time decision on Wednesday after he collided with a teammate during Tuesday's practice.
It's unclear what he hurt, but the Bulls are being ultra-conservative with injuries this preseason so the fact that he might play suggests that it's not serious. The backup swingman is a nice fit on Chicago's bench, but it's a role with limited fantasy appeal.
