Thu Jul 11 201310:22Dunleavy expected to come off the bench
Mike Dunleavy is expected to come off the bench to back up both Jimmy Butler and Luol Deng.
Deng and Butler are capable of playing big minutes, so it's hard to get too attached to the idea of Dunleavy matching his 25.9 minutes per game from last season. At 32, Dunleavy is excited about being on a team that projects to make the postseason, but he's not expected to get enough shots to be a factor in standard fantasy leagues while Deng and Butler are healthy.

Wed Jul 10 201312:31Bulls sign G/F Mike Dunleavy
Bulls sign G/F Mike Dunleavy.
The two-year, $6 million deal was made official on Wednesday. It's a bargain price for Chicago considering guys like Carlos Delfino, Kyle Kover and Chase Budinger all earned deals worth around $5 million annually. Dunleavy should backup Jimmy Butler and Luol Deng at SG/SF this season, and his perimeter shooting and ball-movement bode well for the Bulls' at-times stagnant second unit. The Bulls bench ranked 26th in the NBA with 27.2 points per game last season.

Mon Jul 1 201319:47Bulls, Mike Dunleavy discussing two-year deal
The Bulls and Mike Dunleavy are discussing a two-year, $6 million deal.
He's received interest from a number of teams and Chicago is now the frontrunner. Dunleavy would likely be a bench option for the Bulls with the emergence of Jimmy Butler. What's more, the deal with Dunleavy probably eliminates the chances of the Bulls bringing back UFA Marco Belinelli. Belinelli played 22 minutes per game in April with the Bulls, which seems like a fair expectation for Dunleavy next year, assuming the deal goes through.

Mon Jul 1 201318:28Bulls reportedly pursuing FA Mike Dunleavy
The Bulls are reportedly pursuing Mike Dunleavy with their mini-mid-level exception.
Dunleavy is a sweet shooter (42.8 percent from downtown last year) who is also an underrated passer, and he's ready and willing to play both SG and SF off the bench. He's a great fit for a contending team looking for a shooter, in other words, and he's also drawing interest from the Mavericks, Lakers, Rockets and Wolves.

Mon Jul 1 201311:41Mike Dunleavy to visit with the Wolves
The Wolves will meet with Mike Dunleavy in Los Angeles on Monday.
Minnesota shot an abysmal 30.5 percent as a team from beyond the arc last year, which is the second lowest by a team since the 2003-04 season. Dunleavy is expected to be coveted by a number of teams as a 3-point guy and his 1.7 triples per game on a sterling 42.8 percent.

Sun May 19 201319:50Mike Dunleavy drawing interest as free agent
Mike Dunleavy, who will be an unrestricted FA this summer, is reportedly drawing "keen interest" from several teams.
Dunleavy played 26 minutes per game off Milwaukee's bench this season, scoring 10.5 points with 1.7 threes, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. The 32-year-old veteran earned roughly $3.8 million last year and he should be an affordable pickup for a competitive team looking for bench help.

Tue Apr 30 201308:02Mike Dunleavy likes Bucks, won't commit
Mike Dunleavy, an unrestricted free agent, admitted he likes the Bucks but stopped short of guaranteeing his return.
Dunleavy was a solid pickup for the Bucks and will have no shortage of interest on the open market as someone capable of doing multiple things off the bench. "I like being here; I grew up here," he said. "I'm willing to come back. Honestly I haven't given a lot of thought to it." The Bucks have a huge offseason ahead, and it wouldn't surprise us to see Dunleavy try and land with a more competitive team.

Tue Apr 23 201322:18Mike Dunleavy scores 16 points off the bench
Mike Dunleavy shot 6-of-9 from the field for 16 points in Tuesday's loss to the Heat with six boards, five assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
He scored 16 of Milwaukee's 30 bench points with Marquis Daniels chipping in with eight. J.J. Redick played just eight minutes, scored two points and the trade to give up Tobias Harris isn't looking great so far. Miami's first unit is head and shoulders above Milwaukee's and their second unit looks to have an advantage, as well.

Sat Apr 13 201321:57Mike Dunleavy steps up w/ 19 bench points
Mike Dunleavy stepped up for the short-handed Bucks, scoring 19 points with three 3-pointers and three assists off the bench in Saturday's loss to Charlotte.
The Bobcats give up the most 3-pointers of any team (8.7 per game), but Jim Boylan probably regrets his team launching 29 attempts from downtown, only nine of which went in. Milwaukee is gearing up for the playoffs and it's doubtful that Dunleavy will exceed his usual low-end value in the final two games of the regular season.

Wed Apr 10 201322:23Mike Dunleavy scores 17 points off bench
Mike Dunleavy played 37 minutes off the bench vs. the Magic on Wednesday, scoring 17 points with six boards, six assists, one block and three 3-pointers.
It was really a perfect storm for Dunleavy tonight with Brandon Jennings going down with an Achilles and Ersan Ilyasova not playing. Dunleavy was actually already holding mid-round value over the past week, so he's worth a look while the Bucks are banged up.

Fri Apr 5 201323:56Mike Dunleavy cools off on Friday
Mike Dunleavy cooled off in Friday's 101-83 loss to the Knicks, shooting 2-of-6 from the field for five points with three boards, one assist and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes.
He scored 15 points in each of his last two games and averaged 31.5 minutes, but this dud will be a tough pill to shallow for those that justifiably bought into those games. Dunleavy should be better, but there's no reason to pick him up in shallower leagues with the demand unlikely to be there following Friday.

Wed Apr 3 201322:27Dunleavy scores 15 pts w/ full line off bench
Mike Dunleavy scored 15 points with three 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks vs. the Wolves, while logging 32 minutes off the bench.
Starting SF Marquis Daniels had just two points in 16 minutes, and Dunleavy now has back-to-back games with 15 points. His role is too volatile for use in most formats, though with four games next week he could be a tempting start in deeper weekly leagues.

Mon Apr 1 201323:12Mike Dunleavy gets 31 minutes Monday
Mike Dunleavy played 31 minutes against the Bobcats on Monday, scoring 15 points with seven assists and one 3-pointer.
He played just seven minutes on Saturday because of an illness limiting him, but he was fine today and the Bucks gave him some extra burn with Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. Dunleavy is worth a look in standard leagues with a favorable schedule.

Wed Mar 27 201321:25Mike Dunleavy plays through illness
Mike Dunleavy played through his illness on Wednesday and had nine points, four boards, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer on 4-of-7 shooting in 27 minutes.
Brandon Jennings was benched and Dunleavy saw very solid minutes. If Jennings continues to sit in Jim Boylan's doghouse, which is quite possible, Dunleavy and J.J. Redick are going to be very relevant down the stretch.

Mon Mar 25 201313:38Mike Dunleavy, Larry Sanders out on Monday
Mike Dunleavy (illness) and Larry Sanders (rest) did not practice on Monday, but they're both expected to play on Wednesday against the Sixers.
Sanders is dealing with routine soreness and should be fine, while Dunleavy is battling a flu bug. Since the Bucks don't play until Wednesday, we're optimistic both will be recovered in time to take on Philadelphia.

Wed Mar 20 201322:54Mike Dunleavy scores 10 off bench
Mike Dunleavy had 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
As long as Ersan Ilyasova is out with a back injury, Dunleavy is worth a look in deeper leagues.

Wed Mar 13 201321:56Mike Dunleavy disappears in loss to Wiz
Mike Dunleavy missed all six of his shots on Wednesday and failed to score despite starting and playing 26 minutes.
This was the polar opposite of Tuesday's performance, when Dunleavy caught fire for 18 points, four 3-pointers and a nice stat line, but he'll be worth a close look going forward if he sticks in the starting unit. That's up for debate, as injuries to Ersan Ilyasova (who is back) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (who is out) are responsible for his recent starts.

Tue Mar 12 201323:56Mike Dunleavy scores 18 points vs. Dallas
Mike Dunleavy hit four 3-pointers in Tuesday's loss to Dallas, adding 18 points, six boards and one steal on 7-of-12 shooting.
He received 38 minutes of playing time due to Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (turf toe) sitting this one out. Dunleavy has been relatively quiet, but he's heating up with a 16-point, four-trey game coming on Sunday. He has upside, so he'll be worth a look while he's producing like this.

Sun Mar 10 201301:20Mike Dunleavy plays 31 minutes in road win
Mike Dunleavy made his second start of the season in Saturday's road victory, scoring nine points with two 3-pointers, eight rebounds, two assists and one block in 31 minutes.
Ersan Ilyasova's absence with a bruised knee necessitated the lineup change, but with Ersan day-to-day this is unlikely to have long-term consequences. Dunleavy is great for the Bucks' ball movement and spacing but he's mired in a March shooting slump, going 10-of-30 from the field in his past three games.

Sun Mar 3 201301:39Mike Dunleavy (ankle) looks fine in 20 mins
Mike Dunleavy (ankle) played 20 minutes off the bench on Saturday, scoring eight points with two 3-pointers, three rebounds and two assists.
Dunleavy hurt himself on Wednesday but the Bucks haven't played since, and his ankle didn't seem like a concern tonight. J.J. Redick's arrival has done Dunleavy no favors, but when healthy he's versatile enough for low-end value.
