Green scored 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt) with one rebound and three assists in the loss to the Bulls on Saturday

Green seems to have somehow found his way into the doghouse after getting the starting nod but playing just 11 minutes against Chicago. His appearance in the starting lineup was set to be short-lived anyway, with the expectation that Brandon Knight would eventually take over the starting role vacated by Dragic. He remains a borderline option in deeper leagues.

Green will start Saturday's game at Chicago, the Arizona Republicreports.

Even though recent addition Brandon Knight is active, Green will remain the starting two-guard for a second consecutive game. On the heels of 12 points and six assists in 30 minutes Friday versus the Timberwolves, Green is averaging 13 points (on 29 percent shooting), 5.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 three-pointers, and 1.3 steals in 32 minutes across three starts this season.

Green had 12 points (5-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt) with a season-high six assists in 30 minutes in the loss to Minnesota on Friday.

Green started because the Suns did not have Brandon Knight on the roster. Once the new Suns assemble in Phoenix, Green will head back to the bench and his minutes will again be inconsistent. Green has struggled from long range of late (just 4-of-24, 16.7 percent in his last five games).

Green will start at shooting guard in Friday's game against the Timberwolves, azcentral.com reports.

Green will move into the Suns' starting lineup until Thursday's trade acquisition, Brandon Knight, is ready to join his new teammates on the court. While that dynamic should not only help Green's short-term value Friday, his longer-term stock should also benefit greatly from Phoenix also trading Isaiah Thomas this week. As a result, Green could become the Suns' first guard off the bench for the remainder of this season, potentially offering more minutes to boost his production.

Green (calf) came off the bench in Thursday's game against Portland for 17 minutes. He recorded nine points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt) four rebounds, and one assist during his short time on the court.

Green strained his calf earlier in the week but has managed to play through the pain so far. The 29-year-old should be good to go moving forward as he provides a punch off the bench during his 20.6 minutes during any given game.

This report didn't come with any other information, but it appears he may have suffered the injury Monday against the Grizzlies, as Green played just three minutes in the contest and never touched the floor again. After having a promising start to the season, Green has found himself in a much-reduced role recently. Managers should feel fine dropping Green in most standard 10 and 12-team leagues.

Green was a healthy DNP-coach's decision Friday, but he's not out of the rotation. Coach Jeff Hornacek was simply playing the matchups, the Arizona Republic reports.

Green is on the trip and expected to play Saturday against the Warriors. It sounds like this was just a circumstantial situation that left Green on the outside of the rotation for one night. The Suns won the game over the Bulls, making any coaching choices the correct move in hindsight. Over his last five games coming into Friday, Green averaged 10.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.2 steals, and 2.0 three-pointers in 18 minutes per game, but he was also shooting just 37 percent from the field.

Green had seven points (2-9 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds in 16 minutes of action Tuesday against the Bucks.

Green had scored in double figures in four straight games coming into Tuesday's tilt, but only managed seven points against the Bucks. His goose-egg from beyond the arc was disappointing, but he was averaging 2.25 three pointers in those four solid games coming into Tuesday.

Green returned to the bench Wednesday, scoring 16 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 3P, 1-2 FT) with five rebounds and a steal in 21 minutes.

Goran Dragic's return to the lineup from a lower back strain bumped Green back to the second unit, but he still scored in double digits for the third straight game. Even off the bench, Green should remain a solid asset if you need three-point production.

It will be the first start of the season for Green, who made 48 starts a season ago. While Green is seeing fewer minutes this season - about six less per game - his production has remained constant, for the most part, and he's averaging 14.3 points while shooting 43.3 percent from the floor and 38.6 percent from three. Expect Green to see an uptick in minutes Sunday, and that could hold constant Monday against Milwaukee if Dragic remains out.

Over the last two weeks Green has averaged 14.7 points, 1.1 steals and 2.7 three-point field goals per game. There really is no reason to expect his numbers to drop because in as little time as he plays he is able to put up good scoring numbers, add some three-pointers and get a steal. He is a great find on the waiver wire as he is only owned in 49 percent of ESPN leagues.

Green scored 24 points (9-17 FG, 6-11 3pt), with three rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes off the bench as the Suns beat the Nuggets.

Green sparked the Suns off the bench, who were without Isaiah Thomas due to a bruised right ankle. Anytime Thomas, Goran Dragic or Eric Bledsoe are inactive, Green is a must start player.

Green scored 23 points (8-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT) in 22 minutes off the Phoenix bench in the win over Indiana on Saturday.

Green had averaged just 10.0 points in his previous three games, but found the range against the Pacers. His minutes have not been consistent, so he is a hard fantasy player to own. Green is a good player to monitor to make sure that fantasy owners snap him if he gets hot.

Green's 26 points comes on the back of an eight minute, zero point performance Friday and as with most players, his performance is dependent on the minutes he receives. When he does play, he has been a great source of fantasy stats, but it's hard to rely upon him on a consistent basis.

When Green gets the minutes, he seems to make the most of them. Wednesday was a prime example of this, as he just lit it up, and got to the free throw line on a consistent basis. His fantasy value is tough to gauge right now, but it's recommended to watch his minutes over the upcoming games to see what we should expect as the season rolls on.

Green came up big in the victory over the Warriors on Sunday, scoring 19 points (6-of-12 FG, 4-of-7 3Pt, 3-of-3 FT) to go along with 3 rebounds and 1 steal.

Green only played around 19 minutes, and 16 of his 19 points came in the fourth quarter alone. Last year was the first time in Green's career that he showed some promise, and this year he has been thriving in his role on the Suns. He is an explosive scorer that can go off at any time, and any injury to the Suns starting wing positions would have Gerald Green see an increase in minutes.

Green scored a team-high 26 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) in a reserve role, while adding three rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Lakers.

Green has been consistent for the Suns off the bench all year, and he was just firing on all cylinders in this game. We shouldn't expect to see Green put up this many points consistently, but he's a solid scorer for the Suns, and is a player to monitor for plug-and-play situations.

Green provided a stat line that reflected the production he had last season, in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers. Green finished with 23 points, three treys, and five rebounds in 28 minutes, the Arizona Republic reports.

Green may have put up a good fantasy line, but he also made several key mistakes in the loss. He also ended up with five turnovers, including one that may have cost the team the game. Green himself admitted post-game that many of the turnovers the team was making was careless. While the team leaned on Green as a scoring punch, that may be less of the case this season, as the team has a healthy Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Morris to contribute as well. Consider Green a later-round flier, with upside, especially if his turnover issues continue.
