Thu Jun 13 201316:38Agent reiterates Camby to return next season
Marcus Camby's agent reiterated Thursday that his client intends to return next season.
Camby's agent said the same thing in mid-May after Camby played in just 24 games this season. The veteran big man suffered through plantar fasciitis but is under contract through the 2014-15 season and has no reason to retire as long as he can suit up by training camp. We don't expect much out of the soon-to-be-40-year old and he doesn't deserve any consideration in fantasy formats.

Wed May 22 201310:18Marcus Camby frustrated with playing time
Marcus Camby admitted to being "frustrated" with his playing time this season.
"The team was playing well and the coach was comfortable with the rotation he had," GM Glen Grunwald said. "The coach had success with Tyson [Chandler] and Kenyon [Martin], and he decided to keep going with that." Camby appeared in just 24 games this season and battled through plantar fasciitis all year.

Mon May 20 201318:29Marcus Camby 'healthy'...according to agent
Marcus Camby has been "healthy for a while now" and he intends to honor his contract for the 2013-14 season, according to his agent.
It was reported in mid-May that Camby was still suffering from plantar fasciitis, so we're not taking his agent's quotes as the inviolable truth. The veteran center appeared in just 24 games this season and he vanished from the Knicks' rotation during the postseason. He won't be a fantasy option in standard leagues no matter where he's playing next year.

Sun May 12 201309:27Camby still battling plantar fasciitis
Marcus Camby is reportedly still suffering from plantar fasciitis.
This isn't surprising, but it helps explain why Camby has played just 12 seconds in the second round, despite the Knicks' need for size and length to combat the Pacers.

Marcus Camby (foot) will be active against the Celtics on Saturday, but Mike Woodson wasn't sure if he'll play.
Camby has been plagued by plantar fasciitis all season, which has limited his already shrunken role off the Knicks' bench. At this point, Camby is more of an insurance policy than anything else.

Marcus Camby (foot), who missed his fifth straight game on Sunday, is not expected to return before the postseason at the earliest.

Thu Mar 21 201309:43Knicks will continue to limit Marcus Camby
The Knicks will continue to limit Marcus Camby's minutes.
After Camby's battle with plantar fasciitis throughout the season, that's the right move to make. Camby has played sparingly despite the issues along the Knicks front line, so we're not counting him to contribute in fantasy leagues despite all of the Knicks injuries.

Fri Mar 15 201301:33Marcus Camby plays 19 minutes on Thursday
Marcus Camby played 19 minutes for the Knicks on Thursday and had eight points, 10 boards and three assists on 4-of-6 shooting.
He had three DNPs in his last four games and his presence on the floor was out of pure necessity. Fellow future AARP member Kurt Thomas also had a busier night than usual, playing 24 minutes for six points, seven boards, three assists and one block. Neither player will have any value once Tyson Chandler comes back.

Mon Mar 4 201322:21Marcus Camby returns from foot injury
Marcus Camby returned from his foot injury on Monday and played seven minutes against the Cavs.
He didn't score, grab any rebounds or block a shot in the win, but it's nice to see the Camby Man back in the lineup. He has no fantasy value and he'll be sitting out more than a handful of games the rest of the way.

Marcus Camby (foot) is calling himself a game-time decision against the Heat on Sunday.
Camby has practicing at full speed for pretty much the entire week and appears on track to play in his first game since Jan. 10. The Knicks will need him to provide depth up front with Rasheed Wallace (foot) done for the rest of the regular season, but he won't help your fantasy team.
