Trevor Crowe left Saturday's game in the second inning with a left shoulder strain.

Mon Mar 28 201117:29Crowe (shoulder) to see doctor Wednesday
Trevor Crowe (shoulder) will travel to New York on Wednesday for a surgical consultation with Dr. David Altcheck.
Crowe has been out all spring due to right rotator cuff soreness. It's possible that he could be placed on the 60-day disabled list in order to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. Michael Brantley is expected to see time in center field until Grady Sizemore is ready to play in mid-April.

Tue Mar 1 201112:19Crowe expected to resume throwing soon
Trevor Crowe (shoulder) is expected to resume playing catch within the next couple of days.
Crowe was shut down last week after complaining of weakness in the area of his rotator cuff. The Indians wanted to give him several days to rest and rebuild the strength of his shoulder. His readiness for Opening Day should be unaffected at this point.

Fri Feb 25 201118:17Crowe has rotator cuff weakness
Trevor Crowe's shoulder injury has been diagnosed as rotator cuff weakness.
His availability for spring training games is up in the air at this time, as he was unable to play in recent intrasquad games. Crowe's bid for a bench spot has taken a hit as a result of the injury, but obviously the sooner he's able to come back, the better.

Fri Feb 25 201113:04Crowe's odds of making team take a hit
Trevor Crowe's (shoulder) chances of making the team have taken a hit as he struggles with nagging injuries.
"It is definitely frustrating," Crowe said. "When you come in and the team goes out to stretch and then you go to work with the trainer, that's not a good feeling during the first week of Spring Training." Right now, he is suffering from a right shoulder injury, forcing him into the trainer's room while his outfield competition advances beyond him. He has no timetable for when he can return to playing catch. The 27-year-old had 442 at-bats with the Indians last season, batting .251/.302/.333 with 20 stolen bases, but won't see the same playing time in 2011 unless Grady Sizemore has a major setback, regardless of whether Crowe makes the Opening Day roster or not.

Mon Feb 21 201118:17Crowe (wrist) running behind other teammates
Indians manager Manny Acta said Monday that Trevor Crowe (wrist) is a little behind his other teammates.
Crowe is currently working his way back from surgery on his right elbow last October, so he'll at least sit out intersquad games on Thursday and Friday. The 27-year-old had 442 at-bats with the Indians last season, but is unlikely to see similar playing time in 2011 unless Grady Sizemore has a major setback.

Fri Jul 16 201022:48Crowe finally has a nice night
Trevor Crowe went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI in Friday's win over the Tigers.
Crowe has been dropped to the bottom of the order with Michael Brantley back in the bigs. But considering Crowe hasn't stolen a base since June 25 anyway, it's not going to affect anything. Leave Crowe on waivers.

Fri Jun 18 201011:50Crowe (knee) strikes out as pinch-hitter

"Trevor's OK; he's available,'' Indians manager Manny Acta said Thursday afternoon. "We wanted to give him one extra day. We anticipate him being ready (on Friday night).''

Wed May 19 201023:17Crowe has two hits, stolen base in start
Trevor Crowe went 2-for-5 with a RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the Royals.
Crowe, who was just called up on Saturday, batted in the leadoff spot and played center field. With Grady Sizemore (knee) out indefinitely, Crowe will find himself in that spot on most days. He's no longer a major prospect, but will hold value in AL-only leagues as long as Sizemore is out.
