Wed Jan 11 201213:32Michael Redd set to debut on Thursday?
Both Michael Redd and the Suns believe he is ready to make his debut on Thursday.
Redd has been working himself into game shape, and his Phoenix debut sounds like it's on the horizon. Redd said "I can't wait," when asked about getting onto the court, and the team could certainly use his ability to space the floor in the second unit. He's waiver wire fodder outside of extremely deep leagues.

Mon Jan 9 201209:40Michael Redd to debut Thursday or Friday
Michael Redd might make his Suns debut in home games on Thursday and Friday.
Alvin Gentry does not expect Redd to play Tuesday night at the Lakers. It will be interesting to see how much gas Redd has left in his tank -- he has a sweet shooting stroke and the Suns will likely use him to spread the court and not much more.

Thu Jan 5 201213:37Redd at least 10 days away from playing
Michael Redd (knee) is at least 10 days away from playing in a game.
That would put Redd's return right around the middle of January. It was reported he'd be out 2-3 weeks when the team signed him at the end of December, so this jives with the initial timetable. He'll look to carve out a place in the rotation but can be safely left on waivers outside of extremely deep leagues.

Wed Jan 4 201208:00Michael Redd participates in first practice
Michael Redd (knee) participated in his first practice on Tuesday with the Suns.
He's expected to be out for several more days but did join the team for the trip to Dallas. Alvin Gentry said Redd has a "long way to go," but Redd said that he played without pain, and that's the most important thing.

Mon Jan 2 201215:02Redd inactive for Suns on Monday
Michael Redd will not play for the Suns on Monday.
He might be nearing his debut for Phoenix and while he bring with him a big name, his knees are not the same as when he was playing well for the Bucks a few years ago. Unless you're in a very deep league, Redd should remain on waivers.

Thu Dec 29 201112:32Phoenix Suns sign Michael Redd to contract
The Suns have signed Michael Redd to a one-year contract.
Redd will be brought in to help support the offensive attack on the wing which has been very poor in the early part of the season. The veteran will have to work himself into game shape in order to contribute, and owners should just monitor him over the next week or so to observe how the Suns use him.

Thu Dec 29 201107:04Report: Michael Redd set to sign with Suns
Michael Redd is likely to sign with the Suns.
Phoenix is desperate for a shooter in the second unit, and Redd, if healthy, fits the bill. He won't play immediately as he works himself into game shape, but should be an interesting name for owners to monitor.

Fri Dec 16 201109:08Pacers in the lead to land Michael Redd?
The Pacers "appear" to be in the lead to sign free agent Michael Redd.
Redd spent time with some Pacers officials on Thursday, although the Wizards, Knicks and Celtics all have varying levels of interest in him as well. It shouldn't be much longer before he makes a final decision, but it wouldn't be a shock to see him land in Indiana after the team was turned down by Jamal Crawford.

Thu Dec 15 201115:29Michael Redd talking to several teams
Free agent SG Michael Redd is talking to several teams about a deal, believed to be the Pacers, Pacers, Knicks, Wizards and Celtics.
Redd's knees have been a disaster and he'll see very limited run in a compact season. It's probably best to let someone else draft him.

Thu Dec 15 201112:28Knicks to show interest in Michael Redd?
The Knicks will look at Michael Redd and Troy Murphy after losing out on Shawne Williams.
As we previously noted, New York also has an interest in Mo Evans. The Knicks need to find a scorer for the second unit, so it should be interesting to see what the plan is now that Williams, who the team wanted to re-sign, has decided to head to the Nets.

Tue Dec 6 201116:48Mavericks possibly targeting Michael Redd
The Mavericks are said to be targeting free agent Michael Redd.
Redd could do well for a contender in 10 minutes off the bench, but his surgically repaired knee isn't likely to permit him to play much more than that. Just like the last couple years, it's doubtful that Redd will have fantasy value regardless of where he ends up.

Thu Dec 1 201109:41Redd drawing interest from multiple teams
The Heat, Bulls, Celtics and Knicks all have Michael Redd on the radar.
This shouldn't come as a surprise as it was reported back in August that Redd was expected to sign with an Eastern Conference contender. All four teams listed fit that description, and he's one potential bargain in free agency that teams without much cap space might look to sign. He'll be looking to rebuild his stock following two consecutive ACL tears.

Tue Aug 9 201109:25Redd likely to sign in Eastern Conference?
According to Gery Woelfel of the Journal-Times, Michael Redd is likely to sign with an Eastern Conference contender.
Redd, an unrestricted free agent, has been a Buck for his entire career. Woelfel cites "impeccable sources" for the insight, and it backs up a report that the Heat are targeting he and/or Tracy McGrady for depth off the bench. Redd obviously comes with great risk after consecutive ACL tears, but he is exactly the type of bargain signing that Miami needs to target with limited financial wiggle room.

Wed Apr 27 201110:12Bucks open to bringing back Redd?
Bucks GM John Hammond did not rule out re-signing impending free agent Michael Redd.
Redd is well-liked and has been a Buck for his entire career, so parting ways will be hard. But Hammond should move on from the hobbled Redd so that the Bucks can gain a new identity and make sure their younger players get minutes. Carlos Delfino projects as the Bucks' starting small forward next season.

Tue Apr 12 201110:43Redd not expected back in Milwaukee
Impending free agent Michael Redd is not likely to be back with the Bucks, according to the Journal Sentinel.
Redd made an impressive recovery from his multiple knee injuries late this season, but the Bucks have to move on. Redd will be entering his age-32 season and is a major liability on defense at this point. Think Peja Stojakovic, but not as good of a shooter.

Sun Apr 10 201109:11Michael Redd unconcerned about free agency
Michael Redd is thrilled to be playing again following two surgeries for ACL injuries and the consequent rehab -- he's trying not to dwell on his impending free agency.
"My main thing right now is being healthy," said Redd. "Free agency will take care of itself when it comes." Most teams wouldn't mind a veteran sharpshooter on their bench, but Redd's defense has always been poor and his days of scoring 20+ points are in the past.

Mon Mar 28 201122:26Redd returns after 14-month absence
Michael Redd (knee surgery) returned to action after a 14-month absence, playing 15 minutes without scoring on three shot attempts to go with four assists.
It's hard to judge based off of one performance, but we're still not expecting much from him. As for his ability to impact the rotation, based on tonight's result we have to assume that Scott Skiles is going to continue playing his starters heavy minutes, so we're concerned about a potential crowd, yet.

Mon Mar 28 201118:21Redd to get 'single digit' minutes if any
Scott Skiles said that Michael Redd (knee surgery) will only see single digit minutes if he even makes it into the game on Monday.
He was listed as "out" this morning but his return is expected soon. Regardless, it's clear that he's going to be worked back into the rotation very, very slowly. Don't expect anything from him in the near future.

Mon Mar 28 201111:33Michael Redd listed as OUT for Monday's game
The Milwaukee Bucks continue to list Michael Redd (knee surgery) as out and is expected to sit Monday's game.
There was word that he would try to make a return last Saturday but he's still not ready to go. He's been a dangerous scorer in his career but there's no telling what kind of player you will see when he finally hits the floor.

Michael Redd is now targeting Saturday's game against the Bulls for his return.
Redd went through a five-on-five practice Tuesday and felt no pain or swelling in his knee Wednesday. Although he may be active Saturday, there is no guarantee that he will actually see the court.
