In the bottom of the second, Gomez dropped a fly ball in center field that he lost in the sun. "Sun's there, it's a day game -- it's there all the time," Astros manager A.J. Hinch said. "It's frustrating when it happens to you, because there's always a question of why or how or what could have been done differently." He also went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout Sunday. Gomez was given a day off Saturday after sputtering through a 3-for-34 stretch at the plate. He has a .182/.238/.248 slash line with zero home runs and five RBIs through 34 games.
