Sat Apr 2 202223:31Jorge Polanco Has Just Two Hits This Spring
Minnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco has gotten off to a very slow start this spring, slashing .077/.172/.231 with one home run, two RBI, and nine strikeouts in 26 at-bats. Fantasy managers would prefer to see him hitting better, but he had a solid 2021 season, slashing .269/.323/.503 with 33 HR, 98 RBI, and 11 stolen bases. He remains a solid middle infield option for fantasy managers despite his slow spring, especially considering the addition of Carlos Correa to the Twins lineup. Polanco is currently being drafted as the 78th player overall and the 15th middle infielder.

Tue Oct 5 202115:13Jorge Polanco On The Rise Heading Into 2022
Minnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco ended his excellent 2021 campaign with a home run and three RBI in his team's win over Kansas City on the season's final day. Polanco slashed .269/.323/.503 with a career-high 33 homers and 98 RBI, 97 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases. Ankle injuries sapped Polanco of his power during the shortened 2020 season, though he had no such trouble in that department this year, posting career bests in barrel rate, exit velocity, launch angle, and hard-hit rate. A late-round discount this year, Polanco will see his ADP rise quite a bit heading into 2022.
