Thu Apr 21 2011 | 11:02 | Jerebko put on 20 pounds of muscle |
Jonas Jerebko added around 20 pounds of muscle while he was sidelined this season. |
Jerebko missed the entire season after partially rupturing his Achilles in the preseason. He was close to returning at the end of the year, so we suspect he'll be a full go for next year's training camp. Note that Jerebko started 73 games in 2009-10, averaging 9.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.5 treys per game. Depending on the Pistons' offseason moves, Jerebko could emerge as a deep sleeper. |

Jonas Jerebko (Achilles) was spotted doing intense drills on Wednesday. |
Jerebko is still trying to make it back this season after his devastating partial Achilles tear. With just 17 games left, however, time is running out. Considering the severity of this injury, he's probably better off just waiting until the 2011-12 season kicks off. |
