Helton had some soreness in his hip during a rehab assignment over the weekend, but his return to the Rockies will be pushed back only a few days. He won't be an everyday player upon activation, though.

"I took swings today and everything felt good, so I don't anticipate there being any problems," said Helton. The 38-year-old is batting just .235/.332/.398 with seven homers, 34 RBI and a .730 OPS in 63 games played this season.

Helton's fourth home run of the season was his first grand slam, and leaves him with a .270/.352/.587 triple slash through Colorado's first 21 games.

Though he's not nearly the offensive force that he was at one point in his career, Helton still possesses a quality bat when he's healthy. He's now driven in nine runs on the season, and could be a decent spot play at corner infielder for those in deeper leagues.
