Rays purchased the contract of OF Justin Ruggiano from Triple-A Durham.
Ruggiano, now 28 years old, last appeared in the big leagues in 2008, and is a career .200 hitter in 90 at-bats. Although he has been playing well at Durham this season, batting .308 while posting a .388 on-base percentage, six home runs and 30 RBI, he's not currently worth a look in AL-only leagues.
