Allen got into a physical confrontation with Nick Calathes during practice recently, and coach Dave Joerger suspended him for Tuesday's matchup with Utah. Allen was on the team flight to Houston, however, and all signs point to him returning to action Wednesday night.

Allen will be suspended for Tuesday's contest versus the Jazz, the Grizzlies' official site reports.

Allen's ban is the result of internal matters. While his absence could afford Jordan Adams some time on the wing, expect Allen to return for Wednesday's game at Houston.

So long as Allen is healthy, his defense will continue to earn him quality minutes off the bench, but the addition of Green hasn't exactly helped his value in fantasy.
