Ilyasova has played just 35 total minutes through the Bucks' first three games.
Ilyasova was injured during the preseason, so perhaps he's still working back into shape, but it's certainly concerning to see him in such a reduced role to begin the year. He played a season-high 18 minutes Saturday against Washington but saw only five minutes in Friday's home-opening win over Philadelphia. Jabari Parker appears firmly entrenched in the starting power forward spot, so Ilaysova will likely continue to come off the bench unless coach Jason Kidd opts to give Parker a try at small forward.

Ilyasova said Monday that he feels "110 percent" heading into Wednesday's season opener, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
A knee injury and illness limited Ilyasova to just two preseason games, but he's expected to be fully ready to go for Wednesday's matchup with the new-look Hornets. While Ilyasova has started slowly in the past, he may not be able to afford to do so this season, as rookie Jabari Parker threatens to grab hold of the starting power forward spot. The Bucks will likely try out a number of lineups under new coach Jason Kidd, but the bottom line is Ilyasova's leash won't be as long this season as it's been in the past, and he'll need to take advantage of his early-season opportunities.
Wed Oct 22 201418:48Ilyasova (knee) will play Wednesday
Ilyasova (knee) will play Wednesday, Fox Sports Wisconsin's Andrew Gruman reports.
It sounds like he is relatively healthy, although Ilyasova is a notoriously slow starter, and also has a lot of other players to contend with for minutes in the frontcourt, so for those reasons, he should be approached with skepticism on draft day.
Tue Oct 21 201418:42Ilyasova (knee) could play Wednesday against T'Wolves
Ilyasova (knee) could play Wednesday against the T'Wolves, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.
Coach Jason Kidd said Ilyasova worked extensively during Tuesday's practice, and it sounds as though he's close to returning. Between the knee injury and an illness, Ilyasova has been limited to just two preseason games.

Ilyasova (knee) will not travel with the Bucks on their upcoming two-game road trip, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.
Ilyasova, who missed Wednesday's practice, is dealing with a knee injury, but the team has not provided much detail regarding his condition. While it doesn't appear to be anything overly serious, Ilyasova will miss Friday's contest against against Minnesota and Monday's game against the Knicks. We'll continue to monitor Ilyasova's status on a daily basis in advance of the regular season.

Ilyasova is dealing with a knee injury and was held out of Wednesday's practice, Fox Sports Wisconsin's Andrew Gruman reports.
It's not clear exactly how Ilyasova sustained the injury, or how serious it is, but it's likely a minor concern. Continue to monitor his status over the coming days for an official diagnosis.
Fri Oct 10 201417:33Ilyasova (illness) will play in Saturday's game
Ilyasova (illness) will play in Saturday's game, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Charles Gardner reports.
He didn't travel with the team for the first two preseason games because he had the flu, but will make his return this weekend and can be considered healthy moving forward.

Ilyasova (illness) did not travel with the team to Green Bay on Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Charles Gardner reports.
He likely won't play in Thursday's game either, since he didn't travel with the team. However, considering it's just an illness, he should be fine for the start of the regular season.

Ilyasova (illness) is unlikely to travel with the Bucks for Wednesday's and Thursday's preseason games, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Ilyasova has missed the past two days of practice due to the flu, so he's not expected to be available for either of Milwaukee's first couple exhibition contests. Wednesday's preseason opener versus the Grizzlies takes place in Green Bay, while the Bucks' subsequent encounter is in Detroit against the Pistons. While Ilyasova is likely to stay behind for that brief road trip, if his health improves, he could make his preseason debut Saturday in Milwaukee versus the Bulls.
Tue Oct 7 201416:24Ilyasova (illness) missed practice Tuesday and status for Bucks'...
Ilyasova (illness) missed practice Tuesday and his status for the Bucks' upcoming two-game roadtrip is in jeopardy, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Ilyasova continues to battle the flu, and he may miss the team's trip to Green Bay for Wednesday's preseason opener against the Grizzlies. Milwaukee then travels to Detroit to face the Pistons on Thursday, so Ilyasova will likely miss that game if he does not join the Bucks in Green Bay.
Mon Oct 6 201414:36Ilyasova (illness) missed practice Monday
Ilyasova (illness) missed practice Monday, Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.
Ilyasova is dealing with the flu, and his status for Wednesday's preseason opener against the Grizzlies is in question.
Mon Sep 22 201420:44Ilyasova 100 percent healthy and seeking bounce-back season
Ilyasova is 100 percent healthy and seeking a bounce-back season, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Ilyasova struggled mightily last season, battling through chronic injuries to post the worst statistical averages of his career. The Bucks were reportedly shopping him during the summer but were unable to find an offer appealing enough to strike a deal. Ilyasova did not play for his native Turkey in this summer's FIBA World Cup, instead focusing on resting up for the NBA season. "Last year I just came from the European Championship to training camp. I think it was really too much on my body. It was really bad, and I kind of rushed myself to come back the first game of the season. It was like a snowball. It gets worse and worse, and I never find myself 100%. Especially when you have a season like that, everybody was looking for some positive things," Ilyasova said. "This summer I spent a lot of time fixing my ankle. Hopefully this season I start on a new page, with a lot of energy and power."
Mon Jul 14 201418:15Bucks shopping Ersan Ilyasova 'hard'
The Bucks are looking to trade Ersan Ilyasova.
It makes sense after Ersan had one of the most inefficient seasons among power forwards last year. He couldn't hit triples and was horrible on defense, so his market price is going to be coming at a discount.

Mon Jun 23 201414:49Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) will not play in FIBA
Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) has decided he will not participate in the FIBA World Championships this summer, electing to rest his troublesome ankles.
Ersan was sidelined for much of the 2013-14 season due to his bum ankles, only being able to suit up for 55 games. Through those 55 contests Ilyasova put up meager averages of 11.2 points, and 6.2 rebounds, while shooting a horrible 40.9 percent from the floor. Those averages are pretty awful for a team's second-highest-paid-player ($7.9 million last season) and it would be wise to let another owner deal with the disappointing Turkish man on draft day.

Sun Jun 22 201414:50Ersan Ilyasova 'most likely' Buck to be dealt
Ersan Ilyasova is the "most likely" Bucks player to be traded before this week's draft, according to beat writer Gery Woelfel.
"The general consensus among some NBA personnel is that the Bucks ... could obtain a late-first round pick for the 27-year-old Ilyasova," writes Woelfel. The Rockets are cited as one team with a late pick (No. 25) that has previously shown interest in Ilyasova, whose trade value was battered by an injury-plagued 2013-14 season in which he missed 27 games and shot 40.9 percent from the field. Larry Sanders is also mentioned as a potential trade candidate, though he too is coming off a lousy season and his appeal is eroded by a guaranteed four-year, $44 million contract.

Wed Apr 30 201410:49Ersan Ilyasova 'disappointed' after 2013-14
Ersan Ilyasova admitted that he was "frustrated and disappointed" with his 2013-14 season, during which he averaged 11.2 points on 40.9 percent shooting.
Ilyasova also missed 27 games and was eventually shut down due to an ankle injury which appears to still be lingering. "If I am healthy, I would like to play in the FIBA Basketball World Cup," he said in an interview with FIBA.com. He'll earn a guaranteed $7.9 million each of the next two seasons, third on the Bucks behind only O.J. Mayo ($8 million) and Larry Sanders ($11 million), so Ilyasova should get every opportunity to bounce back after a lousy year.

Thu Apr 17 201413:10Ersan Ilyasova not likely for World Cup
Ersan Ilyasova says he'll make a decision about playing for Turkey in the World Cup some time in the next month.
He was shut down early this year with an ankle injury and simply never got healthy over the course of the season. He says he's leaning toward skipping the event and if he wants to revive his NBA career, it's probably a good choice, as he simply has to find a way to get healthy and stay on the court.

Thu Mar 27 201419:50Ilyasova won't do anything for two months
Ersan Ilyasova is out for the season and will rest his ankle for two months.
"I never had problems with the ankle," Ilyasova said. "It started when I twisted it really bad in training camp. I think I really rushed myself to get back for the first game of the season." His game completely fell apart down the stretch as one of the worst defenders at power forward. Ilyasova ineptitude on defense was only matched by his inconsistency on offense, so he'll be on a lot of "do not draft" lists for next season.

Thu Mar 27 201414:16Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) likely done for season
Ersan Ilyasova (foot, ankle) is not expected to play for the remainder of the 2013-14 season.
Ilyasova will not require surgery but a doctor recommended that he immediately begin "a period of rest and rehabilitation." It's unclear what the exact problem is with Ilyasova's ankle and foot, and given the Bucks' sparse injury updates it's likely to remain a mystery. Jeff Adrien and John Henson both get a bump in playing time with Ersan out, and both guys are candidates to start at PF, while Khris Middleton and newcomer D.J. Stephens may also get a few extra minutes. Ilyasova will finish his season having averaged 11.2 points and 6.2 rebounds in 55 appearances, and this disastrous campaign will he hard to forget during fantasy drafts next season.

Wed Mar 26 201413:23Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) visits doctor on Wed.
Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) is visiting a doctor on Wednesday and his status for Thursday's game is uncertain.
He sat out Monday's game and the Bucks already plan to protect his health by resting him one game in each of their two remaining back-to-back sets. We should know more about his status soon enough, and a positive medical update could clear him to play, but until then cautious owners have to consider him to be a shut-down candidate for the lottery-bound Bucks.
