Johnson (ankle) is considered a game-time call for Tuesday's matchup with the Thunder, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
Thought Johnson participated in shootaround, there's a decent chance he's held out for the second consecutive game. If that's the case, Patrick Patterson will likely make another start at power forward.
Sun Nov 2 201417:01Johnson (ankle) ruled out for Sunday's matchup with Heat
Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Heat, Ethan J. Skolnick of Turner Sports reports.
Johnson, who tweaked his ankle in the Raptors' last game, was considered questionable earlier Sunday afternoon but has since been ruled out. Patrick Patterson is expected to start in his place, though coach Dwane Casey is yet to offer confirmation.
Sun Nov 2 201416:03Johnson (undisclosed) questionable to play Sunday against Heat
Johnson (undisclosed) is questionable to play Sunday against the Heat, the reports.
It's unknown what type of issue Johnson is dealing with, but until further notice consider the forward questionable to play Sunday night. Johnson is averaging 15 points and 7.5 rebounds and two blocks in two games thus far. If he ends up sitting out, expect Patrick Patterson to draw the start.

Johnson scored 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-2 FT) with 10 rebounds, four blocks and two assists in 31 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Hawks.
The Raptors' point guard was his usual energetic self, collecting half of his boards on the offensive glass. Johnson won't be a big part of the team's offense on most nights, but he'll be able to tease a double-double on a regular basis.
Mon Oct 20 201413:51Johnson said Monday that he 100 percent healthy
Johnson said Monday that he is 100 percent healthy, the Toronto Sun's Ryan Wolstat reports.
He clarified that he hurt his foot, not his ankle, which is why he sat out Sunday's practice, but he should be considered healthy moving forward.

Johnson (ankle/foot) wasn't a participant in Sunday's practice for precautionary reasons, the Toronto Sun reports.
The Raptors have been quick to say that Johnson's ankle and foot issues are minor, and there's no reason to believe otherwise since it's the preseason and teams continually err on the side of caution. Johnson will have two opportunities to try out his ankle and foot, if he so chooses, before the Raptors' regular season starts on Oct. 29 against the Hawks.

Johnson (ankle/foot) was held out of the second half of Friday's preseason game as a precaution and says that he's fine, TSN Sports reports.
The Raptors didn't want to push Johnson when there was an inclining that he wasn't 100 percent, and so there's likely nothing to be concerned about regarding his health heading into the regular season. Even so, the Raptors have eight games left on their preseason schedule to determine if Johnson's minor injury will linger.

Johnson left Friday's game with a sore left foot and will not return.
It doesn't sound like a serious injury, but the Raptors have no reason to push him in a preseason game. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Johnson scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 FT) with eight rebounds in 25 minutes Friday.
On most nights during the regular season, that's about the kind of production you can expect from Johnson given that he takes a back seat to DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry in the offense. Johnson will be a free agent next offseason, however, so the motivation could be there to try and become a consistent double-double threat.

Johnson underwent biomechanical testing this offseason to determine if there was any way to avoid the ankle injuries that have plagued him recently, the Toronto Sun reports. "They broke it down. They stuck light bulbs on me, they have something where you can see your skeleton, the way you jump, run and move," Johnson said. "They see the way I jump, the way I land. What I do in the game. It could be something as little as the way I turn my foot inward when I slide and it just saves me from rolling my ankle. I've been doing that pretty much all summer."
Johnson's fantasy upside is limited by his complementary role in the Raptors' offense but if he can stay mostly healthy for once, rather than playing through nagging injuries, he might be able to improve slightly on his previous career highs of 10.4 PPG and 7.5 RPG.
Thu Jun 19 201423:32Amir Johnson doesn't need surgery on ankle
Amir Johnson said he will not need surgery on his right ankle.
His ankle bothered him from February to May and it cost him five games while also limiting him in several others. Johnson was extremely efficient with the Raptors last year, making 56.2 percent of his shots for 10.4 points per game. He'll be a solid mid-round pick in drafts next year.

Mon May 5 201413:47Amir Johnson will see doctors about ankle
Amir Johnson will see doctors about his right ankle, which he injured during Sunday's Game 7.
"I just had to keep going," Johnson said. "The game was too important to sit down or get subbed out so I kept playing." He is no stranger to ankle injuries and he didn't let Sunday's injury prevent him from piling up 20 points and 10 rebounds, so hopefully it's nothing more than a sprain.

Fri May 2 201421:36Johnson (knee) plays 21 minutes in loss
Amir Johnson (knee) played 21 minutes in Friday's Game 6 loss, scoring four points on 2-of-6 shooting with five rebounds and one steal.
Johnson has played through injuries all year and it's hard to ride him for being unproductive, but the Raps will need more out of he and Patrick Patterson (eight points, three rebounds, two blocks, 26 minutes) if they're going to advance.

Sun Apr 27 201422:08Amir Johnson injured left knee during Game 4
Amir Johnson injured his left knee during Sunday's Game 4 road victory, but he continued to play and finished with 17 points, five rebounds, two steals and one block in 30 minutes.
He picked up his fifth foul on a blocking call in the third quarter, and Paul Pierce added injury to insult by landing on Johnson's knee during the play. He never went into the locker room and will play through any injury that doesn't hospitalize him, so he should be ready to go for Game 5 in Toronto on Wednesday.

Fri Apr 25 201422:29Amir Johnson (back) goes to the locker room
Amir Johnson (back) went to the locker room in the second half and did return to action on Friday vs. the Nets.
He went to stretch out his back, which is somewhat good news because it wasn't due to his oft-injured ankle. Johnson scored seven points with four boards, one assist and four fouls in 29 minutes in tonight's loss. He'll likely be ready for Game 4 on Sunday.

Tue Apr 22 201422:23Amir Johnson bounces back in Game 2 win
Amir Johnson bounced back from a poor Game 1 showing for 16 points, nine rebounds and two blocks on 8-of-10 shooting in Tuesday's Game 2 win over the Nets.
Johnson looked like a different player tonight and it's possible his ankle is feeling better. Patrick Patterson was also effective again with 12 points, nine rebounds and a 3-pointer, while Greivis Vasquez added 11 points, eight assists and a steal in 25 minutes. It looks like these three players will share time for the rest of this series.

Sat Apr 19 201415:50Amir Johnson (ankle) plays 21 minutes in loss
Amir Johnson (ankle) was a non-factor in the Raptors' Game 1 defeat, scoring two points with three rebounds in just 21 minutes of action.
If Johnson's matchup with Paul Pierce is a key to the series the Raptors might be in trouble, as he couldn't take advantage of Pierce in the paint offensively and couldn't defend him on the other end. Johnson's recently sprained ankle is part of the problem and he's unlikely to be 100 percent for Game 2 on Tuesday, so the Raptors may once again lean heavily on Patrick Patterson (nine points, five rebounds in 26 minutes).

Sat Apr 19 201410:29Amir Johnson (ankle) ready to play vs. Nets
Amir Johnson said that his ankle feels "good" as he prepares to defend Paul Pierce in the first round of the playoffs.
It's a tough matchup for Johnson and it will be even harder if his ankle limits his mobility. Since the All-Star break Johnson has averaged 10.4 points on 60.0 percent shooting, with 6.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.

Thu Apr 17 201400:20Amir Johnson rolls ankle on Wednesday
Amir Johnson looked to suffer an ankle injury against the Knicks on Wednesday.
There has been no word from the team just yet, but he did play only 15 minutes after he seemed a bit hobbled. Johnson scored just two points with four boards, one assist and two turnovers in a loss. He'll need the two days off as the Raptors head into the playoffs. They'll face the Nets this weekend.

Mon Apr 14 201422:15Johnson scores 10 points with two threes
Amir Johnson scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, three assists and one steal in Monday's win.
Johnson logged 28 minutes and with the Raps likely tied with the Bulls for the No. 3 seed after tonight, his chances of playing on Wednesday are better than they might have been in a less competitive scenario. Patrick Patterson (three points, 1-of-7 FGs, five boards, two steals, 20 minutes) has taken a back seat with Johnson playing well.
