Mon Jan 26 201506:37Noah (ankle) managed to log 22 minutes Sunday against Heat
Noah (ankle) managed to log 22 minutes Sunday against the Heat. He posted four points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
Noah has been dealing with an injured ankle, which has caused him to miss four out of the last six games. He's averaging just 4.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game in January, and his injury-riddled season is undoubtedly haunting owners. Still, he's worth owning as long as he's playing, and owners will just have to hope he can return to form before the All-Star break.
Sun Jan 25 201511:24Noah (ankle) will play Sunday against Heat
Noah (ankle) will play Sunday against the Heat, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
This news is not a surprise since the big man was probable coming into the game, and was able to play through the ankle injury Friday against the Mavs. Even though he's good to play, it would not be a surprise to see Noah come up short of his 30 minutes per game average this season, as the ankle problem is likely still lingering.
Sun Jan 25 201510:55Noah (ankle) probable to play Sunday against Heat
Noah (ankle) is probable to play Sunday against the Heat, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
This probable designation indicates that the ankle injury Noah played through Friday is still lingering, and he will likely play through it again Sunday. His stat line from Friday was a bit disappointing, while only playing 23 minutes, so fantasy owners may want to wait until Noah looks healthier before he is deployed into lineups.

Noah (ankle) scored six points (3-8 FG) and added seven rebounds, an assist, and two blocks in 23 minutes Friday.
Even though Noah saw only limited action in his first appearance after more than a week, but Noah owners are probably disappointed here. Noah is one of the best passing big men in the league, and many consider only notching one assist a letdown.
Fri Jan 23 201519:09Joakim Noah: (Ankle) To Play Friday
Noah (ankle) will play Friday against the Mavericks, ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell reports.
One would assume Noah will get the start alongside Pau Gasol on Friday, and those in single-season leagues should start him as usual. However, in daily leagues, it might be best to stay away as it's not clear how many minutes he will play.

Noah (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks, Nick Friedell of ESPN reports.
Noah was considered highly questionable, or doubtful, heading into Friday. His elevation in status is good news for his owners, although his official designation for Saturday's game won't be revealed until closer to tipoff.
Thu Jan 22 201519:30Joakim Noah: (Ankle) Iffy for Friday
Noah (ankle) will travel with the Bulls for Friday's game at Dallas, but his chances of playing are highly questionable, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah is missing his fourth consecutive game Thursday due to an injured right ankle, and a fifth DNP in a row is certainly not out of the question. As long as he remains sidelined, Taj Gibson will remain in the starting lineup.
Thu Jan 22 201511:56Joakim Noah: (Ankle) Ruled Out Thursday
Noah has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Spurs, Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago reports.
Noah was considered doubtful heading into the matchup, so it's not a surprise to see him ruled out. An MRI on his ankle earlier in the week came back clean, so it should only be a matter of time until the big man is back on the floor. Taj Gibson should make another start Thursday, but there's a chance Noah could be back for Friday's game in Dallas.
Wed Jan 21 201515:34Noah (ankle) downgraded to doubtful for Thursday's game
Noah (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Thursday's game, Bulls announcer Chuck Swirsky reports.
He was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice, but it seems unlikely that he will be able to return to game action against the Spurs. Fortunately for Chicago, Pau Gasol, Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic are more than capable of handling the frontcourt duties, and all three have their uses in daily leagues while Noah is out.
Wed Jan 21 201513:39Noah (ankle) partial participant in Wednesday's practice
Noah (ankle) was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah has missed three straight games while recovering from an ankle injury that's plagued him throughout the season. While he has not been ruled out for Thursday's game, it seems highly unlikely he plays after failing to put in a full practice Wednesday. The Bulls will likely be cautious with the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, who has not looked like himself for much of the season.

Noah's (ankle) MRI looked good and he's making progress according to coach Tom Thibodeau, but he won't play Monday, ESPN Chicago reports.
Noah was already ruled out for Monday's game, but the report at least indicates that his injury doesn't appear to be major. He is considered day-to-day, with his next chance at returning coming Thursday against the Spurs.
Sun Jan 18 201519:13Noah (ankle) will not play Monday against Cavaliers
Noah (ankle) will not play Monday against the Cavaliers, KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah will miss his third straight game as the Bulls continue to allow him to rest an ankle injury that's plagued him throughout the season. Expect Taj Gibson to make another start in his place, and consider Noah questionable to play Thursday against the Spurs.
Sat Jan 17 201518:27Joakim Noah: (Ankle) Sidelined Saturday
Noah (ankle) won't take the court Saturday against the Hawks, ESPN Chicago reports.
Sidelined for a second game in a row due to a right ankle injury, Noah will likely yield his starting spot to Taj Gibson yet again. The results of Noah's MRI haven't been released, but once they're known, a timetable for his return should become clear.
Fri Jan 16 201510:57Joakim Noah: (Ankle) Out Friday, MRI Saturday
Noah (ankle) will not play against the Celtics on Friday and has an MRI scheduled for Saturday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah suffered a right ankle injury during Wednesday's game against the Wizards. With the severity of his injury still unknown, his long-term status won't be revealed until his MRI results are announced. In his absence, Taj Gibson will likely benefit from significant time on the court.

Noah suffered a right ankle injury Wednesday against the Wizards, and will not return to the contest.
Noah turned the ankle at some point in the first half, and Taj Gibson ended up starting the second half in his place. The Bulls' center should be considered day-to-day in advance of Friday's matchup with the Celtics.

Noah scored one point (0-3 FG, 1-2 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 27 minutes Wednesday against the Jazz.
The Bulls really struggled Wednesday and Noah was one of several players to have a bad game. While Noah usually provides owners with plenty of rebounds and blocks, his offensive production has really dropped this season and he has scored eight points or less in eight of his last nine games. The Bulls have more offensive weapons this season, so continue to expect decreased scoring output from Noah compared to last season.

Noah (ankle) did not practice Tuesday and is considered a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup with Utah, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah has played in 11 consecutive games, but it appears his ankle may be acting up following Monday's win over Houston, in which he played 34 minutes. If Noah ends up sitting out Wednesday, expect to see Taj Gibson in the starting lineup in his place.

Noah had 12 points (6-10 FG) and 12 rebounds in 30 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Nets.
The Bulls' deep front court has limited Noah's court time, and he hasn't played more than 30 minutes in any of the last six games. Further, with the offense once again running through a healthy Derrick Rose rather than Noah, as it did last year, Noah's seen a dip in his assists. While he continues to be a beast on the boards, it would be unwise for fantasy owners to expect a repeat of last season's career year.

Noah (ankle) scored 14 points (4-4 FG, 6-8 FT) to go along with four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes Monday against the Raptors.
The Bulls finally had just about everyone healthy Monday and although Noah is still a crucial part of the team, he just doesn't put up the kind of crazy numbers that he did last year when everyone else is able to play. He should continue to be a solid fantasy option, but he could have nights like Monday now and then.

Noah (ankle) is considered probable to take the floor Monday against Toronto, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
After missing four games with the ankle issue, Noah returned to the lineup Thursday and Friday, playing 34 minutes and grabbing 13 boards in each contest. He did not appear to re-injure the ankle, so his "probable" designation is likely just a precaution.
