Noah recorded a double-double in 34 minutes Friday against the Grizzlies as he scored 10 points (2-3 FG, 6-8 FT) to go along with 13 rebounds, two assists and one block.
Noah struggled in his first game back from an ankle injury Thursday against the Knicks, but he looked much better Friday. He isn't likely to put up the same lofty numbers that he did last season as the Bulls have more depth up front, but there is no reason to think he can't at least approach a double-double with solid defensive numbers on a nightly basis.
Fri Dec 19 201410:31Joakim Noah: (Ankle) Returns To The Court
Noah (ankle) returned from a four-game absence against the Knicks on Thursday but had a rough shooting night as he only put up five points (1-8 FG, 2-6 FT) to go along with 13 rebounds, three assists, and one block in 34 minutes.
Despite the poor shooting performance, Noah was able to brush aside his lingering ankle issues to play a normal compliment of minutes Thursday. However, when considering that his ankle issues stemmed from soreness, it's entirely possible that he could be sidelined in the future to the rest the ankles yet again.

Noah (ankle) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Hawks, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Noah has been sidelined for over a week at this point due to ankle issues, and it appears he will likely add another game to that absence streak Monday. If Noah is indeed unavailable, Taj Gibson should draw another start alongside Pau Gasol in the frontcourt.

Noah (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Heat, Joe Goodman of the Miami Herald reports.
Noah, who was doubtful coming into Sunday, will sit his third straight game as he nurses a nagging ankle issue. That means Taj Gibson will draw another start in the frontcourt alongside Pau Gasol. The Bulls play again Monday in Atlanta, so consider Noah questionable for that contest.

Noah (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday's game against Miami, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Noah (ankle) will not play Friday against Portland, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Noah scored 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 FT) with 10 rebounds, seven assists and a steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's victory over the Hornets.
The seven assists were a season high and it was great to see Noah play through the game out after rolling his ankle early in the game. We will keep you updated if there is any further news regarding his ankle concern.
Wed Dec 3 201419:25Noah rolled right ankle for second night in row Wednesday
Noah rolled his right ankle for the second night in a row Wednesday, but will play through it for now, ESPN Chicago's Nick Fiedell reports.
It seems pretty evident that the best course of action would be for Noah to be taken out of the game, as he was dragging his ankle up and down the court, but the Bulls initially left him in. With Taj Gibson out, and the Bulls having played a double-overtime game the night before, depth is certainly a concern, but it would not be surprising to see Noah taken out later in Wednesday's game, and possibly miss a game or two in the near future.
