Sun Jan 26 201401:29Robin Lopez goes for 15-10-1 in win
Robin Lopez had 15 points, 10 rebounds and one block in Saturday's win over the Timberwolves.
Ro-Lo has three double-doubles in his last five games and is averaging 13.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over that stretch. Much like Washington's Marcin Gortat, he's turned out to be a value pick in fantasy leagues this season.

Wed Jan 22 201400:21Robin Lopez double-doubles in loss
Robin Lopez had 10 points, 10 rebounds and a block in Tuesday's loss to the Thunder.
Lopez has been up and down recently, and had 13 points and just three rebounds in his previous game. But over his last five, he's still averaging 11 points, 6.4 boards and 1.4 blocks, meaning he's a useful center in deeper leagues.

Thu Jan 16 201402:53Robin Lopez puts up a dud vs. Cavs
Robin Lopez was quiet on Wednesday with eight points, four boards and one block in 33 minutes.
Tonight was a bit of a letdown considering a lot of centers have feasted on the Cavs and how Lopez was coming in with some momentum. Over his previous five games, he averaged 13.6 points, 9.4 boards and 1.2 blocks in 31.0 minutes. He'll look to bounce back on Friday.

Sun Jan 12 201402:24Robin Lopez cleans the glass vs. Boston
Robin Lopez matched his career high with nine offensive boards against the Celtics on Saturday, finishing with 15 points, 13 boards, one assist and one block in 34 minutes.
The Blazers terrorized the Celtics on the glass with 20 offensive boards as a team. Lopez establishing position deeper on the offensive side has really helped him become a stronger rebounder. Of course, it probably has a lot to do with LaMarcus Aldridge stretching out interior defenses. Regardless, Lopez is worth owning in standards as a four-category player for points, boards, blocks and field goal percentage.

Wed Jan 8 201403:16Robin Lopez scores 18 with two blocks
Robin Lopez had a season-high 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in Tuesday's loss to DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings.
The fact he pulled off a season high against Cousins is rather impressive, although Cousins had a field day tonight for the Kings. Ro-Lo is Ro-Ling right now, averaging 13.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks over his last five games, scoring in double figures in four straight. More rebounds would be nice, but they'll be hard to come by playing alongside LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum.

Sun Jan 5 201401:18Robin Lopez grabs 15 boards in loss
Robin Lopez grabbed a game-high 15 boards against the Sixers on Saturday with 14 points and one steal in 34 minutes.
His nine offensive boards were a career high and this was his fourth game with at least 15 total boards on the season. Lopez's 8.4 boards per game on the year is completely obliterating his previous career high of 5.6 from 2012-13 and the Blazers look like they stole him from the Pelicans in the offseason.

Mon Dec 30 201323:00Lopez ties career-high with six blocks
Robin Lopez tied a career-high with six blocks in Monday's loss to the Pelicans.
Lopez added seven points with six rebounds in his 24 minutes, and has been a mid-to-late round value this season in 9- and 8-cat leagues, respectively.

Robin Lopez tied his season high with 17 points and added five rebounds and a block on 7-of-10 shooting in Saturday's loss to the Heat.
The Heat don't really use a true center which worked in Ro-Lo's favor tonight. Lopez is hot over his last three games, averaging 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and a block after scoring a total of 10 points in his previous two.

Fri Dec 27 201303:55Robin Lopez grabs 15 boards in 40 minutes
Robin Lopez grabbed 15 boards against the Clippers on Thursday with 11 points, one assist, one steal and one block in 40 minutes.
He matched his season high in minutes and tonight was the third time this season he's grabbed at least 15 boards. Lopez is putting up fifth round value this season and he's locked in as Portland's man in the middle, so there's no reason to think he'll slow down.

Fri Dec 13 201301:38Robin Lopez has another double-double
Robin Lopez logged his third consecutive double-double on Thursday with 16 points, 10 boards, one assist and two blocks in 36 minutes against the Rockets.
He had a great game against Dwight Howard and shot 7-of-9 in the win. Lopez is rolling over his last five as a five-category stud, averaging 13.0 points, 10.0 boards and 2.0 blocks on 63.6 percent from the field and 90.0 percent from the line. His 8.7 rebounds per game on the season might be the most impressive facet of his game since he entered the year with a previous career high of 5.6. Fantasy owners shouldn't consider him as a sell-high player.

Tue Dec 10 201300:22Robin Lopez double-doubles in win
Robin Lopez double-doubled against the Jazz on Monday with 15 points, 11 boards and one block in 34 minutes.
He's getting into a bit of a groove in a consistent manner with averages of 12.3 points, 10.0 boards and 2.0 blocks on 60.0 percent shooting. Lopez is worth owning in all leagues with his solid percentages, no competition and some solid durability.

Sun Nov 24 201302:23Robin Lopez blocks five shots
Robin Lopez blocked a season-high five shots against the Warriors on Saturday to go with eight points, nine boards and one steal in 35 minutes.
He looking very comfortable as the backbone of Portland's defense and hasn't committed more than two fouls in any of the last three games. Over the last five, Lopez averaged 8.2 points, 9.0 boards, 2.0 blocks and 1.2 turnovers in 30.2 minutes. His lack of boards made him more like Sideshow Rob in that department in years past, but this year he ranks second in the NBA in contested rebounding percentage among those playing 30 minutes per game (Enes Kanter). He should be owned in all leagues.

Sat Nov 23 201304:25Robin Lopez grabs career-high 16 rebounds
Robin Lopez scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting with a career-high 16 rebounds and one block in Friday's win over the Bulls.
Lopez is a safer low-end option at the center position, and it wouldn't be surprising if he improved a bit as the season goes on.

Sat Nov 16 201300:40Robin Lopez keeps rebounding on Friday
Robin Lopez grabbed double-digit boards for the fourth consecutive game on Friday with 10 to go with three points and one block in 36 minutes.
The boards are unexpected since he averaged just 5.6 per game in 82 starts with New Orleans last season. Lopez has been as good as expected as a low-upside, low-risk guy, so he's not going to be the type of player that will make or break your season. He's still worth owning in standard leagues, though.

Thu Nov 14 201302:09Robin Lopez goes for 13 points, 15 boards
Robin Lopez had 13 points, 15 rebounds and a block in Wednesday's tough win over the Suns.
His 15 boards and 10 defensive rebounds were both career highs and he's coming off a pair of double-doubles (17 & 10, 12 & 10) that give him three in a row. If you need a center and he's on waivers, give him a close look.

Sun Nov 10 201301:20Robin Lopez records first double-double
Robin Lopez hit 4-of-10 shots for 12 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and zero blocks in Saturday's win over the Kings.
Lopez has been hit or miss all season, but finally put a nice game together tonight. He's a lower end fantasy center, but could be ready to get it going after tonight's double-double.

Sat Nov 9 201308:45Lopez posts very low-end line vs. the Kings
Robin Lopez scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting with four rebounds and one block on Friday against the Kings.
Lopez had his hands full with DeMarcus Cousins all night and for a player that was coming off a zero-point, 17-minute outing on Tuesday this line gets him back on the board. His numbers are way low right now and when they regress back to norms he'll hold late-round value with the opportunity to grow from there, assuming Joel Freeland (four points, four rebounds, one steal, two blocks, 17 minutes) doesn't continue to surprise us.

Wed Nov 6 201301:10Robin Lopez stink again on Tuesday
Robin Lopez had an awful night on Tuesday, failing to score while adding six boards, two assists, one steal and three blocks in 18 minutes.
He committed five fouls and Dwight Howard kept him in check. Howard has done this to guys a lot better than Lopez, so there's no reason to think any less of him. While he has a fairly low upside, his job is safe and he has some level of reliability.

Sat Nov 2 201302:42Robin Lopez struggles again Friday
Robin Lopez scored just two points with five boards and two blocks on 1-of-5 shooting on Friday.
He played 22 minutes and his stint in Portland is off to a bad start. Lopez received all sorts of praise from coaches and teammates in the preseason, but after two bad games, it seems like a distant memory. He has no competition behind him, so the Blazers should give him some leash to redeem himself.

Thu Oct 31 201302:03Robin Lopez has a horrible start to season
Robin Lopez didn't have the debut he was hoping for on Wednesday with three points, two boards, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 32 minutes against the Suns.
Miles Plumlee gave him a front-row seat to a post-move clinic and Lopez's game tonight was not consistent with his strong preseason. He had a bad stint in Phoenix earlier in his career, so maybe the pressure got to him. The good news is that he still saw plenty of playing time and he should bounce back on Friday in Denver.
