Fri Oct 25 201301:13Robin Lopez absolutely atop depth chart
Robin Lopez scored 11 points with seven boards and two blocks in 31 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.
The Blazers don't have much depth behind him and it's a mild surprise that Meyers Leonard has been bumped from the rotation. Lopez's lack of competition makes him a more alluring pick late in drafts. He started every game last year, so his durability offsets his lack of rebounding.

Thu Oct 17 201300:01Robin Lopez goes for 13 points and 13 boards
Robin Lopez scored 13 points with 13 boards and two blocks in 28 minutes on Wednesday.
He looks pretty good with his new team and seems to have solidified his job as the starting center. Lopez is shaping up to be a decent target late in drafts for those looking to add addition depth at center, which is never a bad idea.

Thu Jul 4 201317:15Portland gets Robin Lopez in three-team trade
Robin Lopez was sent to the Blazers in a three-team deal on Thursday.
He has a decent-sized contract at $10.2 million over the next two seasons. It's possible that the Blazers cut Lopez and if they do, he is guaranteed $500K this year and nothing next year. Although, the Blazers could use some depth up front, so they could keep him and let J.J. Hickson walk. Lopez is unlikely to match his production of 11.3 points and 1.6 blocks from last season. It's worth noting that the Blazers have picked up two big man off the scrap heap with the Rockets dumping Thomas Robinson.

Thu Jul 4 201312:17Robin Lopez would likely go to the Blazers
Updating a previous item, Robin Lopez would be sent to the Blazers in the reported sign-and-trade deal involving Tyreke Evans.
The Blazers probably would not be giving up to get him. Lopez was a pleasant surprise for the extremely thin frontcourt of New Orleans last season and the Blazers could always use more depth. They have already acquired Thomas Robinson, so Lopez could mean the Blazers might not bring back UFA J.J. Hickson.

Wed Jul 3 201314:44Blazers, Pacers reportedly eyeing Robin Lopez
The Trail Blazers and Pacers are on a short list of teams currently pursuing Robin Lopez, sources tell Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Pelicans are trying to move Lopez to clear sufficient cap space in case Tyreke Evans decides to sign a report four-year, $44 million offer sheet. New Orleans can waive him for the cost of a $500,000 buyout, but has until Thursday to do so or else his salaries of $5.1 million and $5.3 million for the next two seasons become guarantees. Wojnarowski believes there's enough trade interest in Lopez that it's unlikely New Orleans will have to waive him.

Mon Jul 1 201318:41Pelicans may unload Robin Lopez for cap space
The Pelicans are "expected to try and unload Robin Lopez" in order to clear sufficient cap space for Tyreke Evans' offer sheet, a reported four-year, $44 million deal with incentives.
If the Kings determine that they won't match the offer sheet for Evans, a restricted FA, they might settle for a sign-and-trade which brings Lopez to Sacramento. RoLo's departure would leave the Pelicans perilously thin at center, with Jason Smith, Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson as their primary big men, though presumably GM Dell Demps has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Tue Apr 30 201310:01Monty wants Lopez to improve on defense
Monty Williams wants Robin Lopez to improve defensively during the offseason.
"Defensively, I would like for him to be a force around the basket, blocking more shots and rebounding more," Williams said. "Defensively, I think he's got to become more of a force for us around the basket. I think he's more than capable athletically to do that." Lopez made some nice strides this season in his first full year as a starting center and should be solid again next year.

Sat Apr 13 201301:27Lopez double-doubles against the Clippers
Robin Lopez double-doubled against the Clippers on Friday, scoring 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting with 12 rebounds and a block in 38 minutes.
With Anthony Davis out for the year the window is open for Lopez to produce and he is worth adding in most formats.

Thu Apr 11 201300:35Robin Lopez scores 20 points vs. Kings
Robin Lopez shot 7-of-8 from the field for 20 points with five boards and one block in just 22 minutes vs. Sacramento.
With Anthony Davis going down due to a knee injury, Lopez could be an asset for owners in most leagues. Although, the Hornets only have three games left this year.

Mon Apr 8 201300:01Robin Lopez very quiet in 18 minutes
Robin Lopez fell by the wayside vs. the Suns, scoring nine points with four rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes.
In the Hornets' previous two games, Lopez had averaged 14.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 34 minutes. Unfortunately, he came up against a small-ball Suns team without Marcin Gortat or Jermaine O'Neal tonight, and Monty Williams opted to go with smaller lineups.

Sat Apr 6 201301:04Lopez scores 12 points with seven boards
Robin Lopez scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with seven rebounds, one steal and one block in Friday's loss to the Jazz.
Lopez has issues with consistency but if you need a very low-end big man then he's worth a look.

Sat Mar 23 201300:01Robin Lopez leads New Orleans to big win
Robin Lopez shot 9-of-12 from the field for 23 points with 10 boards, one steal and four blocks in 30 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.
The Hornets played great defense and held the Grizzlies to just 38 points in the paint compared to their 48. Lopez has been on a roller coaster for most of the season and scored just four points in each of his previous two games, so he's not that exciting of a pickup in the shallow leagues in which he's available.

Tue Mar 19 201301:42Lopez turns invisible against the Warriors
Robin Lopez disappeared in the Hornets' 93-72 loss to the Warriors on Monday, scoring four points on 2-of-10 shooting with two rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes.
Lopez didn't have a steal or block. He had a 20-point, 11-rebound game on Sunday, but he's a borderline player in 14-16 team leagues over the past month and that means owners in standards shouldn't chase his bigger nights.

Sun Mar 17 201321:55Robin Lopez notches 20 & 11 in road loss
Robin Lopez recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds, but the Hornets lost after blowing a late lead in Minnesota.
Lopez shot 8-of-14 from the field and 4-of-4 from the FT line. He tends to do his best work against teams with bigger, slower centers, so he may have actually benefited from Nikola Pekovic's return after an eight-game absence. Start him at your own discretion, but note that his minutes will fluctuate as long as Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson are healthy.

Fri Mar 15 201322:07Robin Lopez has a quiet game vs. Wizards
Robin Lopez played 26 minutes in Friday's 96-87 loss to the Wizards, scoring six points with two boards and two assists.
He'll have his bad game or two and this is pretty much what owners signed up for. Lopez was holding consistent value earlier, but with the Hornets having a sub-par schedule the rest of the way, he's only a borderline guy in standards.

Tue Mar 12 201322:59Robin Lopez puts up some decent numbers
Robin Lopez scored 15 points in Tuesday's 108-98 loss to the Nets to go with eight boards and one block in 37 minutes.
His brother Brook served up a facial on him and the Hornets were swept in the season series. Lopez didn't get much playing time in his previous two games, averaging 20.5 minutes for just 4.5 points. Ryan Anderson not playing may have been a factor in Lopez getting significant burn, so he's not quite worth picking up in shallower formats.

Sat Mar 9 201322:58Robin Lopez very quiet in 22 minutes
Robin Lopez played 22 minutes but he finished Saturday's road loss with just three points, one rebound and zero blocks.
Lopez has been somewhat feast-or-famine lately, and tonight fantasy owners went home hungry. The Grizzlies were missing Zach Randolph and Darrell Arthur, so presumably RoLo wasn't needed as often against smaller lineups, and he should fare better vs. the Blazers (Sunday) and Nets (Tuesday).

Wed Mar 6 201323:42Robin Lopez double-doubles vs. LAL
Robin Lopez had a double-double in Wednesday's loss to the Lakers with 13 points and 11 boards, adding one steal and two blocks in 40 minutes.
Consistency has been the issue with him and over his previous seven games, Lopez played in 16 minutes or less in three of those contests. On the bright side, the loss of Jason Smith suggests that Ro-Lo will need to see plenty of action and he's worth owning in standard leagues for his production in blocks and field goal percentage.

Sat Mar 2 201302:32Robin Lopez blocks five shots vs. DET
Robin Lopez scored 10 points with five rebounds and five blocks against the Pistons on Friday.
Lopez hit 5-of-12 shots and played 31 minutes, and owners needing a big man should give him a look as long as Anthony Davis (shoulder) is out.

Tue Feb 26 201323:10Robin Lopez scores 14 points with seven rebs.
Robin Lopez scored 14 points to go with seven boards, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 29 minutes against the Nets on Tuesday.
It was his second productive game in a row with his 12-point, seven-board game against the Kings on Sunday. While's he's been quiet lately, Lopez did have an eight-game streak with at least 11 points with some blocks and boards that ended on February 13. He's starting to come around again and should be owned in standard leagues.
