Sat Mar 31 201204:49Rush scores 11 points in 33 minutes vs. NJ
Brandon Rush scored 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 33 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Nets.
This isn't the most exciting Brandon Rush line of the past week or so, but it shows he's still getting his minutes and with his 4-4-5 remaining schedule he should be owned in all formats. He has provided early round value over the past two weeks and has no real threat to his value.

Thu Mar 29 201203:07Brandon Rush cools off on Wednesday
Brandon Rush hit 3-of-8 shots for just 12 points, but added three rebounds, one assist, one steal, a block and two 3-pointers in a loss to the Hornets.
Rush has been feeling it lately and played 33 minutes tonight. Keep him in your lineup, and think about grabbing him if he's available in your league. He's averaging 13 points, five rebounds, two blocks, 1.6 3-pointers and 32 minutes over his last five.

Wed Mar 28 201202:44Brandon Rush scores 23 in loss to Lakers
Brandon Rush stayed hot on Tuesday, hitting 9-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers on his way to 23 points, three rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 33 minutes off the Warriors bench on Tuesday.
Rush is playing very well, averaging just 14 points, but also 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 2.0 3-pointers over his last five games. The blocks are gold from a shooting guard, and he looks like a must-own player until further notice.

Mon Mar 26 201200:21Brandon Rush has 10 & 11 in Warriors' win
Brandon Rush racked up 10 points, two 3-pointers, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocks off the bench on Sunday, playing 41 minutes in a tough loss to the Blazers.
The scoring wasn't there, but owners can't complain with this versatile line. Rush is fighting to earn minutes over Dorell Wright (13 minutes) and Richard Jefferson (35 minutes), and this can only help his case.

Fri Mar 23 201200:35Rush scores nine points on Thursday
Brandon Rush scored nine points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 24 minutes off the bench on Thursday.
With five games this week, Rush was a pick-in-play in some formats and he has posted a bunch of unexciting low-end lines like this. All together, he'll likely produce enough for owners to not feel totally ripped off, but they won't write home about the experience, either.

Sun Mar 18 201200:09Richard Jefferson damages Rush's minutes
Richard Jefferson's 38 minutes of playing time on Saturday came at the expense of Brandon Rush (four points in 22 minutes) and Dominic McGuire (11 minutes).
Rush and McGuire got noticeably less playing time than usual, while Klay Thompson (39 minutes) and Dorell Wright (44 minutes) were unaffected. The Warriors play five times next week, but it's probably wise to cut Rush.

Sat Mar 17 201203:38Brandon Rush scores 10 in 35 minutes
Brandon Rush hit just 3-of-10 shots for 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers in Friday's loss to the Bucks.
He played 35 minutes and is a very interesting option with a five-game week on the horizon. Rush is averaging around 11 points, seven rebounds and two 3-pointers over his last three games. Richard Jefferson's arrival could hurt him slightly, but he knows the system and has earned the trust of Mark Jackson.

Thu Mar 15 201202:35Brandon Rush quiet in 30 minutes
Brandon Rush played 30 minutes on Wednesday, but hit 3-of-6 shots for seven points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in a loss to the Celtics.
The minutes were nice, but Klay Thompson, Nate Robinson and Dorell Wright all played very well, limiting Rush's effectiveness. Additionally, Stephen Jackson will undoubtedly cut into Rush's flow once he's healthy and getting minutes for the Warriors. Thompson, Robinson and Wright all look like must-own players at this point, but Rush should only be given a look in deeper leagues for now. Having said that, he could be a sneaky pick-and-play with five games next week.

Wed Mar 14 201203:19Rush scores 17 points with eight rebounds
Brandon Rush scored 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including five threes) with eight rebounds and a block in 24 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.
Keep in mind that the Kings were awful tonight and Stephen Curry (ankle) was out, but Curry's status for the rest of the year is totally in doubt and Mark Jackson would like to get an apartment with Rush. Klay Thompson is still the shooting guard to own between the two, but if you have an extra roster spot in 12-14 formats and you're looking to take a flier -- Rush could be your guy.

Fri Feb 3 201203:07Rush scores five points off the bench vs. UTA
Brandon Rush scored just five points off the bench on Thursday, hitting 1-of-4 shots from the field (all threes) with three rebounds and a steal in 17 minutes.
Mark Jackson made some pregame comments that Rush was the only bench player that could be worth starting, but was fairly strong in saying that Dorell Wright was his guy. Wright had another serviceable outing with 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting (including two threes) and the Warriors won, so Wright's owners have nothing to worry about for now.

Wed Feb 1 201201:50Brandon Rush leads Warriors w/ 20 points
Brandon Rush hit 6-of-10 shots and four 3-pointers on his way to 20 points, six rebounds and two assists as the Warriors beat the Kings on Tuesday.
Rush scored 15 points in the fourth quarter, as Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry mostly watched from the bench, and earned some props from coach Mark Jackson tonight. Rush was averaging nine points per game over his previous four, but also hit eight threes over that stretch. He's not a must-own player and Ellis and Curry were in a funk tonight, so just keep an eye on him going forward.

Sat Jan 21 201210:38Warriors discuss extension for B. Rush
Warriors GM Larry Riley has discussed a one- or two-year contract extension for swingman Brandon Rush.
The Warriors have until Wednesday to complete an extension. Rush has been playing well lately (averaging 10.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in the past seven games) and says that he wants to remain with Golden State.

Sat Jan 21 201204:30Rush scores six points on two shot attempts
Brandon Rush scored six points on 2-of-2 shooting (including two threes) with six rebounds, one assist, and one block in 19 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Rush did well to produce with the minutes he had, but with Dorell Wright (18 points) heating up and Stephen Curry (ankle) back he can safely be dropped. Even if Wright starts to struggle and Rush plays exceedingly well, he is a longshot for real fantasy value.

Fri Jan 13 201202:55Rush hits three treys in start for Wright
Brandon Rush hit three 3-point shots in a start for injured Dorell Wright (knee) on Thursday against the Magic, finishing with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting with four rebounds and three assists in 40 minutes.
It was an odd game tonight with all the Dwight Howard fouls, but for Rush's part he did enough to put a scare into Wright's owners, even after his 20-point, 10-rebound, and six-trey effort from Tuesday. Rush is worth a look in 12-team leagues with the hope he can topple Wright.

Wed Jan 11 201202:44Brandon Rush plays well, but so does Wright
Brandon Rush had eight points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal and three blocks on 2-of-7 shooting in 27 minutes Tuesday.
Rush is blocking shots this season and playing well, but Nate Robinson and Dorell Wright went nuts tonight, meaning Rush will remain in a bench role for the Warriors until further notice. He's still an interesting player to own with his 10 blocks, eight steals and 11 3-pointers, but isn't a must-own player if he's not going to take over at SF for Wright, who finally broke out of a funk tonight.

Sun Jan 8 201201:12B. Rush scores 14 points off Warriors' bench
Brandon Rush played 28 minutes off the Warriors' bench on Saturday and had 14 points, four 3-pointers, four rebounds and one steal.
Rush outplayed starting SF Dorell Wright (1-of-3 FGs in 20 minutes), and if Wright's atrocious play continues he could continue to earn more playing time. He scored a total of two points in the previous two games, however, so don't drop anyone valuable to pluck him off the waiver wire.

Sat Jan 7 201203:39Brandon Rush held to six minutes vs. Lakers
Brandon Rush was held to just six minutes with Stephen Curry (ankle) out on Friday against the Lakers, scoring just two points on one shot attempt.
We didn't figure Rush to be a lock for value while Curry was out, but he had shown enough to be unavailable in most leagues and a must-own player in 12-team leagues. Mark Jackson decided it was a good time to try recently signed Nate Robinson, however, playing him 33 minutes and throwing a monkey wrench into the backcourt for fantasy purposes. Rush can be dropped for a hot free agent after his recent slowdown, but we wouldn't be surprised to see him resurface down the road.

Mon Jan 2 201219:21Brandon Rush plays well again Monday
Brandon Rush hit 5-of-11 shots for 13 points, two rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes off the bench in Monday's loss to the Suns.
Rush has played very well for Mark Jackson and we've been recommending him as a nice fantasy pick up. And there is a very real possibility that he could replace Dorell Wright in the starting lineup soon and if it happens, Rush goes from "nice to have" to "must-own" status.

Sun Jan 1 201200:37Brandon Rush cools off on Saturday
Brandon Rush hit just 1-of-6 shots for four points, two rebounds and two assists in Saturday's loss.
We were expecting much more with Monta Ellis out (funeral), but Rush didn't have it tonight. He still played 32 minutes and came in averaging 12 points, two blocks, 1.3 steals and nearly two 3-pointers per game, and we expect him to bounce back in the next one. Despite tonight's line, he still looks like a must-own player to us.

Thu Dec 29 201101:56Brandon Rush scores 19 in Warriors win
Brandon Rush came off the bench for 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers on 7-of-13 shooting Wednesday.
Yes, Steph Curry was out, but Rush has been getting serious run and has impressed with his shot blocking. It looks like Mark Jackson is a fan and Rush could be a serious Sixth-Man Award candidate if he can keep this going. If you have someone you don't mind cutting, picking up Rush makes a lot of sense right now.
