Mon Dec 26 201102:00Brandon Rush scores 12 in 28 minutes
Brandon Rush hit 3-of-6 shots and both of his 3-point attempts on Sunday, finishing with 12 points, three boards, a steal and two blocks in 28 minutes.
We were surprised to see him get 28 ticks tonight and he could end up sharing time with Dorell Wright. Wright is still the guy to own, but Rush is worth keeping a close eye on in deeper leagues.

Sun Dec 18 201110:36Pacers trade Brandon Rush to Warriors
The Pacers have officially traded Brandon Rush to the Warriors for Lou Amundson.
It's a one-for-one trade that beat writer Mike Wells feels "makes sense...They've been trying to move Rush for a couple of years and they need frontcourt help with [Jeff] Pendergraph hurt." Rush will join Klay Thompson as the Warriors' primary swingmen off the bench, where he's unlikely to have reliable fantasy value unless a starter is injured.

Tue Jun 21 201113:35Bucks have interest in Brandon Rush?
The Bucks may have interest in Brandon Rush, according to beat writer Gery Woelfel.
Rush's time in Indiana has run its course. He's had plenty of chances to emerge, but wild inconsistency has the team frustrated. Still, Rush is a big body that can really defend and shoot the 3-pointer. He'd be a nice pickup for the Bucks if they can buy low.

Thu Apr 28 201112:50Rush will be traded this summer?
Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star senses that Brandon Rush will be traded this summer.
A trade would make a ton of sense as Rush has never capitalized on his sizable talent in Indy. With a glutton of wings on the Pacers, he'd probably welcome a trade. "He's so inconsistent," president Larry Bird said. "I hate to see him turn into a role player. All the skills he's got, but he's not consistent."

Wed Apr 13 201122:48Rush, Dunleavy each score 16 for Pacers
Brandon Rush and Mike Dunleavy came off the bench and each scored 16 points in Wednesday's season-ending loss to the Magic, and were the only Pacers in double figures.
The normal starters (outside of Danny Granger, who was a late scratch) started for the Pacers, but played very limited minutes. Roy Hibbert started, but picked up five fouls in 10 minutes before leaving for good without a point and just three rebounds.

Sat Mar 26 201123:04Brandon Rush stays hot in loss to Pistons
Brandon Rush stayed hot on Saturday with 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and four 3-pointers on 7-of-10 shooting as the Pacers lost to the Pistons.
He struggled on Friday, hitting just 1-of-7 shots, but has scored in double figures in three of his last four games, knocking down 10 treys over that stretch. We don't trust him at all, but he could stay hot for a few more games.

Wed Mar 23 201123:17Rush gets hot at right time for Pacers
Brandon Rush came off the bench to hit three straight 3-pointers for the Pacers, finishing with 11 points in 27 minutes in a win over Charlotte.
He looked good tonight, but it was likely a fluke. Keep an eye on him, but as long as he's coming off Indy's bench, he'll be too unreliable to use in most leagues.

Mon Mar 21 201123:50Rush makes some noise in win over NJ
Brandon Rush scored 10 points on 3-of-10 shooting (including two threes) with seven rebounds and two blocks in 29 minutes off the bench on Saturday.
Despite getting decent minutes, his production has gone into the tank after a sometimes promising start to the year. Deep leaguers will want to take notice if he does it again.

Tue Mar 15 201123:05Rush held scoreless in Tuesday's win
Brandon Rush was held scoreless on three shot attempts in Tuesday's game, and added just two rebounds and a steal over 20 minutes.
We're not even mad, we're impressed. Playing that many minutes and avoiding any and all contact with the ball takes hard work, but it's not winning any favor with owners, obviously. Leave him on waivers.

Sun Mar 13 201121:10Rush plays 35 minutes with Granger out
Brandon Rush had eight points and six rebounds in 35 minutes off the bench with Danny Granger (flu) sidelined Sunday.
Rush didn't start, but he played most of the game in place of Paul George (six points, 12 minutes). It was a case of the Pacers going with what was working -- George still projects as the starter and the man most likely to play 26-28 minutes. Regardless, the upside of both swingmen is capped.

Tue Mar 1 201123:29Rush, George an uninspiring fantasy combo
Brandon Rush started again at shooting guard for the Pacers on Tuesday, and finished with eight points on 3-of-7 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 24 minutes.
Backup Paul George played 17 minutes and scored 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting with four boards and a steal, as the pair are also losing minutes to Lance Stephenson (14 minutes) and Dahntay Jones (15 minutes). George is a player to watch for his upside, but this is a timeshare to avoid.

Wed Feb 23 201122:51Rush scores nine in start for Pacers
Brandon Rush started in place of Mike Dunleavy (thumb) and had nine points, four rebounds and a 3-pointer in 34 minutes of Wednesday's win over the Pistons.
He also hit the game-winning dunk, despite having a quiet night in a lot of minutes. He could start for a while, but only because the Pacers want to keep their second unit intact, which includes Paul George. We like George better than Rush at this point, but the starter is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
Tue Feb 15 201123:28Rush (ankle) returns to action vs. Miami
Brandon Rush (ankle) returned to action on Tuesday, scoring three points on one 3-point shot attempt with no other statistics in eight minutes.
He has a long way to go before he should be followed in fantasy leagues, playing behind Mike Dunleavy and Paul George.
Sun Feb 13 201112:47Rush not cracking rotation anytime soon
Brandon Rush admitted that getting back in the rotation is an "uphill battle" for him.
Rush's ankle is getting better and he's dressed in two straight games. But with Paul George and Dahntay Jones excelling as backups, there's no room for Rush. As long as the Pacers stay healthy and keep winning, it looks like Rush is the odd man out.

Sat Feb 12 201101:53Rush looks like he has fallen out of rotation
Brandon Rush did not play on Friday and it appears he may have fallen out of the rotation.
With Dahntay Jones playing well right now and the organization committed to giving Paul George minutes, Rush is the odd man out. If you've been stashing him in a very deep league, it's probably time to let go.
Fri Feb 11 201116:04Brandon Rush active but may not play
Brandon Rush will be active for Friday's game but it's unclear how he'll fit into the Pacers' rotation.
"I'm probably leaning more toward not rocking the boat," said Vogel. "We're playing well. I want to have him available. He could step in and play 30 minutes and we wouldn't skip a beat. We'd improve in some areas. I've got great depth at the wing and he'll be active but I'm not sure yet how I'm going to use him." All we can take from that is -- fantasy owners should wait and see what happens, but don't get your hopes up.

Thu Feb 10 201109:21Rush to get his chance?
Although Brandon Rush (ankle) was inactive Wednesday night, coach Frank Vogel said Rush will get his chance.
Vogel is waiting for Rush's ankle to get back to 100 percent before throwing him into the crowded wingman rotation. "He's going to be in there," Vogel said about Rush. "We have five wings who can flat-out play. They'll be a factor." Rush, who is the best perimeter defender on the Pacers, will eventually complicate matters even more for Mike Dunleavy and Paul George.

Tue Feb 8 201119:43Rush active but only for use in emergency
Brandon Rush (ankle) is active for Tuesday's game, but he will only be used in an emergency.
He has no real appeal in fantasy leagues, as he will return to a battle with Mike Dunleavy and Paul George for minutes. He belongs on the waiver wire until he proves otherwise.

Sun Feb 6 201112:57Rush not active Sunday
Brandon Rush (ankle) was not active for Sunday's game against the Nets.
Rush is getting close and we'd expect him to engage in battle for wing minutes with Mike Dunleavy as soon as Tuesday.
Sun Feb 6 201109:48Rush could play Sunday
Brandon Rush (ankle) could return as soon as Sunday.
