Thu Jan 27 201114:09Brandon Rush out two weeks with ankle injury
Brandon Rush is expected to miss about two weeks after spraining his ankle Wednesday night.
It's interesting timing for Rush, who just lost his spot in the rotation to rookie Paul George. Now the Pacers will have no choice but to stick with George no matter how he plays. If George can use this opportunity to impress, Rush could find himself out of the rotation for quite some time. He can safely be dropped.

Wed Jan 26 201121:07Rush day-to-day with sprained ankle
Brandon Rush left Wednesday's game with a sprained ankle and will not return.
He's day-to-day, but was basically replaced in the rotation by Paul George tonight anyway. What little fantasy value Rush had is now dead.

Tue Jan 25 201112:47Rush could be out of rotation already
Coach Jim O'Brien reiterated that he is close to removing Brandon Rush from his rotation in favor of Paul George.
Wild inconsistency from Rush is going to cost him his role, unless O'Brien is bluffing. "The decision that I have to make is when do I move Paul definitely in front of Brandon," O'Brien said. "That's coming if we keep getting sporadic play." Obie isn't one to mess around, so we are taking him seriously. George should be on the radar for deep leaguers.

Sun Jan 23 201122:33Brandon Rush hits three 3s in bench role
Brandon Rush, in danger of falling out of the Pacers' rotation, had nine points (3-of-3 from downtown) and five rebounds on Sunday.
Rush has fallen out of coach Jim O'Brien's good graces. He was effective in limited minutes tonight, but Paul George has passed him on the depth chart and he can be cut without reservations.
Sun Jan 23 201119:31Brandon Rush soon out of Pacers' rotation?
Brandon Rush is in jeopardy of falling out of the Pacers' rotation.
Indiana has gone with a smaller lineup recently, playing Danny Granger more at PF, but coach Jim O'Brien still has Rush skating on "thin ice." Rush had occasionally been starting for defensive purposes but it seems that arrangement has ended.

Sun Jan 23 201101:27Rush held scoreless off the bench on Saturday
Brandon Rush was held scoreless coming off the bench on Saturday, missing both of his shot attempts while adding just one rebound, one assist, and one steal in 24 minutes.
If you owned him and were using him, there's a very good chance you won't own him tomorrow. Starter Mike Dunleavy had an alright night with 14 points, four rebounds, four assists, two threes, and a steal, but neither of them can afford to have the type of night that Rush did tonight.
Wed Jan 19 201122:32Rush to start against Warriors on Wednesday
Brandon Rush will start against the Warriors on Wednesday, while Mike Dunleavy will face his old team coming off the bench.
If you're using Rush nowadays, this would be one of the better matchups you could find against the Warriors' notoriously fantasy friendly style of play. The same goes for Dunleavy, since players often do well against their former teams.

Mon Jan 17 201118:24Brandon Rush logs 39 minutes in start
Brandon Rush started at SG for Indiana on Monday, logging 39 minutes, but he had just 10 points, two 3s, seven rebounds, two assists, and three turnovers.
Before you can get him into your lineups (supposing you wanted to) he'll probably be right back in a bench role. We enjoy most roller coasters, but the one in Indiana makes us nauseous.
Mon Jan 17 201115:15Rush to start for Pacers, will guard Gordon
Brandon Rush will start over Mike Dunleavy on Monday for "defensive purposes" and will guard Eric Gordon.
Call us crazy, but does alternating Rush and Dunleavy on a nightly/weekly basis work out well for anyone? And doesn't every opposing team have a shooting guard who can score in bunches and needs to be defended? So why not just make Rush or Dunleavy the starter so everyone knows their role? Rush led the Pacers in scoring in his last start, then returned to the bench and disappeared in his next one. Expect more of the same this week, unless Jim O'Brien finally makes up his mind.
Fri Jan 14 201122:06Brandon Rush back to bench Friday
Brandon Rush, who started on Wednesday and scored 20 points, was back on the bench for Friday's loss, as expected.
He played just 18 minutes and scored just four points. Tyler Hansbrough started, but played just 18 minutes as well, finishing with 12 points and three boards. The Pacers are trying to figure out what's wrong with their offense, but it looks pretty obvious given the fact anyone not named Danny Granger has no idea what their role will be from game-to-game. Mike Dunleavy started over Rush and had 12 points and three 3-pointers.
Wed Jan 12 201122:10Rush starts for Pacers, scores 20 in win
Brandon Rush started over Mike Dunleavy on Wednesday and had 20 points and two 3-pointers.
He didn't do much else, and will continue to alternate starting duties with Dunleavy until further notice, making him a risky fantasy player ot own.
Tue Dec 28 201023:02Rush scores 17 points with seven boards
Brandon Rush started and scored 17 points on 3-of-9 shooting (2-of-3 from downtown, 9-of-10 from the foul line) with seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 36 minutes on Tuesday.
He has been struggling lately, so tonight's line is a welcome sight for owners. He was pretty consistent before his recent 3-game swoon, so owners may want to be a bit more liberal with returning him to the lineup, depending on your options.
Tue Dec 21 201004:24Rush held to six points vs. Hornets
Brandon Rush scored just six points on 2-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block in 30 minutes off the bench on Monday.
He has now scored six points in two straight games and seen his shot attempts dip in the process. One more game of this and we'll be looking at a trend, so owners need to pay careful attention to how he gets used when the Pacers return to action on Sunday.
Wed Dec 15 201020:29Rush, McRoberts benched for Pacers
Brandon Rush and Josh McRoberts were benched to start the second half of Wednesday's blowout against the Lakers.
It's ironic, as Jim O'Brien started Rush for defensive purposes. Mike Dunleavy and Tyler Hansbrough started the second half in their place, as Obie continue to baffle fantasy owners. However, it's tough to blame him for this one, as the Pacers didn't really even show up in the first half.
Wed Dec 15 201010:18Rush likely to start tonight
Brandon Rush is expected to start in place of Mike Dunleavy against the Lakers tonight for defensive purposes.
Rush starts when the opponent has an elite wing player like Kobe Bryant. It usually leads to a boost in offensive stats as well. In six starts this season, Rush is averaging 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 3-pointers and 1.3 blocks a game.

Mon Dec 13 201023:44Rush starts for injured Granger (ankle)
Brandon Rush started for injured Danny Granger (ankle) on Monday, and finished with 13 points on 5-of-17 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 41 minutes.
The shooting is poor and the shot attempts are up but this is a fairly normal line for him. Mike Dunleavy had 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting (1-of-7 from deep) with eight rebounds, a steal, and two blocks, without having to share as much time with Rush.
Fri Dec 10 201021:40Rush, Dunleavy both do well on Friday
Brandon Rush scored 16 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 6-of-13 shots from the field (including four threes) with four rebounds and no assists in 28 minutes.
Starter Mike Dunleavy also had a good game with 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting (including three treys) to go with six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks, but that shouldn't deter you from owning Rush. The calls for him to take the starting job are coming from all angles, and he still produces regardless of what Mike D does.
Wed Dec 8 201023:39Rush cools off in Wednesday's loss
Brandon Rush cooled off on Wednesday, hitting just 2-of-9 shots for five points and a 3-pointer in 29 minutes.
The minutes and shots were there, but we're guessing the Bucks were ready for him after watching film and getting scouting reports about him scoring between 15 and 26 points in his previous three. He came off the bench again, but you have to think Jim O'Brien is very close to just giving him the job permanently, instead of saving his starts for defensive matchups. In any case, Mike Dunleavy started and had nine points on 2-of-7 shooting, and Rush is clearly the guy to own here.
Mon Dec 6 201022:21Rush scores season-high 26 points
Brandon Rush scored a season-high 26 points on Monday, hitting 10-of-18 shots from the field (6-of-8 from downtown) with four rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 32 minutes.
He should be owned in all leagues after this effort, even if Mike Dunleavy continues to start and play well. Dunleavy scored 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting in 29 minutes tonight, as the two have been more productive collectively than your average timeshare.
Mon Dec 6 201020:01Rush scores 16 points in the first quarter
Brandon Rush has 16 points through the early portion of the second quarter, after coming off the bench behind Mike Dunleavy in Monday's game.
Dunleavy isn't stinking up the joint, either, hitting all three of his shots before bowing out due to foul trouble. Rush has hit 6-of-8 shots from the field and all four from beyond the arc, and this is yet another indicator to pick him up regardless of Dunleavy's solid play so far, as well.
