Sat Apr 13 201323:10Dante Cunningham quiet in start at center
Dante Cunningham started at center vs. the Suns, finishing with 13 points, eight boards, two steals and one block in 34 minutes.
The Suns' small-ball lineup inspired the switch from Rick Adelman, who consequently shifted Greg Stiemsma (six points, five rebounds, four blocks) to a bench role. Nikola Pekovic (calf) remains day-to-day, and his status will determine whether Cunningham and Stiemsma will be worth fantasy attention on Monday and Wednesday.

Sat Apr 13 201318:42Dante Cunningham starting at center vs. PHX
Dante Cunningham is starting at center for the Wolves on Saturday.
Rick Adelman is going to shake things up with more of an offensive approach against one of the league's worst defenses. Greg Stiemsma will come off the bench, but he still looks to be a better play for owners looking for some late-season help today. Cunningham is worth a look, as well.

Sat Apr 13 201300:43Dante Cunningham returns from hammy
Dante Cunningham returned for his hamstring injury on Friday and had eigt points, four boards, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes.
He was a late scratch on Wednesday and the Wolves needed him a bit more than usual with Nikola Pekovic (calf) out. Greg Stiemsma logged a whopping 41 minutes, so Rick Adelman's trust in his big man will limit the smaller Cunningham in getting minutes at center.

Fri Apr 12 201320:45Dante Cunningham back in the lineup
Dante Cunningham (hamstring) is back in the lineup against the Jazz on Friday.
He was a late scratch on Wednesday and he should be ready to go tonight. Cunningham should play over 24 minutes with the Wolves not having Nikola Pekovic (calf) and he's on a back-to-back for Saturday's game. We'll keep an eye on him.

Dante Cunningham was a late scratch and will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday due to a right hamstring injury.
He's been helpful for the Wolves and over his last five games, Cunningham averaged 11.8 points in 27.0 minutes. Minnesota will have to count on Derrick Williams and Andrei Kirilenko a bit more tonight.

Tue Apr 2 201300:20Dante Cunningham scores 19 in win
Dante Cunningham came off the bench for 19 points and five rebounds on 7-of-12 shooting in 24 minutes of Monday's win over the Celtics.
Starter Derrick Williams had just 11 points, three boards and a 3-pointer in 25 minutes, but is still the more reliable fantasy play as long as he's starting over Cunningham.

Mon Apr 1 201309:42Dante Cunningham not bothered by hand injury
Dante Cunningham said he's not bothered by his injured right hand.
He shot just 2-of-8 on Saturday, and it was the first time in seven straight he hadn't shot at least 40 percent from the field. Regardless, he's not expected to miss any time with the injury.

Fri Mar 29 201321:04Dante Cunningham suffers right wrist injury
Dante Cunningham suffered a right wrist injury against the Thunder on Friday.
He was in a lot of pain and the Wolves are likely to give him an X-ray as a precaution. Derrick Williams replaced Cunningham and he'll benefit along with Chase Budinger at the forward spots.

Sat Mar 23 201301:20Cunningham scores 18 points with eight boards
Dante Cunningham scored 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes off the bench in Friday's blowout win.
Cunningham has been off the radar for some time and one nice night in a blowout doesn't really change his value. He's hands-off in normal formats.

Mon Mar 4 201323:16Dante Cunningham flirts with double-double
Dante Cunningham played 39 minutes against the Heat on Monday, scoring eight points with 11 boards, two assists, one steal and one block.
He's the clear winner of the Nikola Pekovic injury news with Chris Johnson (two points in six minutes) and Greg Stiemsma (no points in nine minutes) barely cracking the rotation. Cunningham does have some low-level upside in the short term, so owners in deeper leagues can give him a look.

Thu Feb 28 201322:00Dante Cunningham will start vs. Lakers
Dante Cunningham will start at forward for the injured Andrei Kirilenko against the Lakers on Thursday.
Mickael Gelabale hasn't quite cut it for the Wolves at small forward and Rick Adelman is wise to go with a bigger lineup based on the Lakers giving up tons of points in the paint lately. The needle doesn't move too much on Cunningham as a pickup with AK-47 out, but Derrick Williams should be owned in all leagues.

Sat Feb 9 201302:43Cunningham goes for eight and eight
Dante Cunningham scored eight points on 3-of-7 shooting with eight rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Cunningham did not record a steal or block and got a technical foul tonight, and all-in-all owners shouldn't feel attached at the hip to him. Derrick Williams is in a mini-surge right now and owners should be hunting bigger upside if Cunningham is going to be inconsistent.

Thu Feb 7 201300:39Cunningham quiet in 26 minutes on Wednesday
Dante Cunningham scored four points on 2-of-7 shooting with six rebounds, one steal, and one block in 26 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.
Cunningham has been pretty hot lately so we wouldn't bail specifically due to this game, but it's worth pointing out that he's a relatively inconsistent asset. His situation will worsen when Andrei Kirilenko return.

Tue Feb 5 201301:03Cunningham scores career-high 23 points
Dante Cunningham shot 11-of-17 from the field for a career-high 23 points with two boards and three steals in 29 minutes.
He's coming off a franchise-record 9-of-9 from the field on Saturday and his minutes have increased with 28.2 per game over his last five. Cunningham has capitalized on Derrick Williams (one point, four boards and three steals in 19 minutes) going into his usual shell. Cunningham is also worth a look in standard leagues with Andrei Kirilenko dealing with a quad issue.

Sun Feb 3 201300:01Dante Cunningham goes off for 18 points
Dante Cunningham made all nine of his field goal attempts for 18 points with four rebounds and two steals in Saturday's win over the Hornets.
He set a franchise record for most makes without a miss and did it all in just 26 minutes. Cunningham shot just 40 percent from the field in his previous four games and has a season field goal percentage of just 44.7 percent before tonight's gem. He's only worth a look in deeper leagues.

Wed Jan 23 201323:10Dante Cunningham scores 14 pts off bench
Dante Cunningham scored 14 points in 31 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Nets, shooting 7-of-12 with three rebounds, two steals and one block.
The Wolves fell three games out of the playoff picture but they have six of their next eight games at home, where they've gone 11-7. Cunningham remains a shaky option in a backup role, even as he cuts into the minutes of starting PF Derrick Williams (nine points in 24 minutes).

Mon Jan 21 201317:33Dante Cunningham (ill) returns w/ solid game
Dante Cunningham (illness) returned on Monday with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks.
DC played 26 minutes off the bench and will continue to fill a similar role until some healthy bodies filter back into the lineup. He's been a brutal shooter over the past two weeks (39 percent FGs, 64 percent FTs) and fantasy owners should give him a wide berth.

Cunningham is still 100 percent but he'll look to give it a go on Monday.

Sun Jan 20 201312:07Dante Cunningham (ill) travels w/ Wolves
Dante Cunningham (illness) is traveling with the Wolves for Monday's game.
DC was a game-time decision on Saturday and presumably he'll be well enough to suit up for the short-handed Wolves. Derrick Williams has assumed the starting PF job but there are still plenty of minutes available while Nikola Pekovic recovers from his quad injury.

Sat Jan 19 201319:06Dante Cunningham will not play Saturday
Updating a previous item, Dante Cunningham (illness) will not play against the Rockets on Saturday.
The Wolves are in deep trouble tonight against the Rockets, who have the fastest pace in the NBA. Derrick Williams is going to have to log a ton of minutes while Greg Stiemsma has a chance to break his career high of 29 minutes. Chris Johnson and Mickael Gelabale will also see some run.
