Sun May 13 201210:26Eric Maynor (knee) on pace for training camp
Eric Maynor (knee surgery) remains on pace to return for training camp.
Maynor tore his ACL in January, causing the Thunder to scramble for a primary backup PG and eventually to sign veteran Derek Fisher. It sounds as though Maynor is doing well, as his daily routine includes "soft-tissue work for 30-45 minutes every morning, followed by an hour in the weight room, some shooting, observing practice and ice treatments twice a day."

Sun Jan 8 201217:13Eric Maynor out for the season with torn ACL
Eric Maynor will miss the rest of the 2011-12 season with a torn ACL.
Maynor was averaging 15 minutes this season as Russell Westbrook's primary backup, and this is a sad day for the 24-year-old. It sounds like OKC will give the bulk of his minutes to Reggie Jackson, not Royal Ivey. Hopefully Maynor can return at full strength for the start of 2012-13.

Sun Jan 8 201215:17Eric Maynor (knee) to be re-evaluated Sunday
Eric Maynor (knee) will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
Maynor injured his knee on a non-contact play and hit the ground in a heap of pain. It didn't look good when it happened, and we should have a more firm diagnosis within the next 24 hours. Royal Ivey and rookie Reggie Jackson are behind Maynor on the depth chart.

Sat Jan 7 201221:59Eric Maynor leaves game w/ scary knee injury
Thunder guard Eric Maynor left Saturday's game after injuring his right knee on a non-contact play.
Maynor immediately crumpled to the court, screaming in pain, and this doesn't look good at all. He is the primary backup for Russell Westbrook and if he misses any games Daequan Cook (and possibly Royal Ivey) will likely step into a bigger role.

Despite some trade speculation that the Thunder might be looking to deal the intriguing backup, he'll likely return as the backup to Russell Westbrook for the Thunder.

Thu Jun 23 201109:16Maynor being dangled as trade bait?
The Thunder have been gauging trade interest in backup PG Eric Maynor, sources tell ESPN's Chad Ford.
The Thunder are apparently trying to get into the top half of the draft by using Maynor plus the No. 24 overall pick. According to Ford, they've been talking to the Kings and Bobcats while trying to move into position for Jonas Valanciunas. We doubt this one will come to fruition as Maynor is nothing more than a quality backup.

Fri May 20 201100:48Maynor given the reins in crunch time
Eric Maynor was given the reins in crunch time of the Thunder's Game 2 win, scoring 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting with two rebounds and one assist in 19.5 minutes off the bench.
Maynor's solid play was one half of the equation that glued Russell Westbrook's hiney to the bench in the fourth quarter, and if you've paid attention it shouldn't surprise you, as many believe he could have started for a few NBA teams this season. Having him as a backup is a luxury most teams cannot afford.

Wed May 4 201101:18Maynor scores 15 points off the bench
Eric Maynor scored 15 big points off the bench for the Thunder in Tuesday's Game 2, hitting 6-of-7 shots from the field (including three treys) with one rebound, two assists, and three steals in just 15.5 minutes.
He probably won't do this again, but it's worth pointing out that he is one of the more talented backup PGs in the Association. Should he ever find his way to playing time, he'll be worth a look in fantasy leagues.

Eric Maynor (foot) returned to action on Tuesday, scoring four points on 1-of-2 shooting with two rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes off the bench.
He has some talent, but as the clear backup to Russell Westbrook he has no value unless Westy were to get injured.

Thu Jun 24 201000:32Maynor heading to Pacers for draft picks?
The Pacers may send the No. 10 pick to the Thunder for point guard Eric Maynor and the 18th and 21st picks.
This deal may or may not go down, but it is possible the Pacers have determined that the best point guard they'll get for the No. 10 pick is Maynor. And fans of the Pacers will surely not be happy with this news.
