Nikola Pekovic is still on a minutes limit for Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks, according to coach Rick Adelman.

He played 26.0 minutes per game in his previous two games and it should be interesting to see how much his minutes are kept down considering how horrible the Knicks have been with respect to interior defense.

Nikola Pekovic returned from a 13-game absence with an ankle injury and played 28 minutes Saturday, finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds and a block on 8-of-12 shooting.

He played like he hadn't missed any time and the plan to limit his minutes was apparently thrown out the window. Get him back in your lineup.

He is going to play limited minutes tonight, which is not a surprise after he missed over a month with his Achilles/ankle issue. Pekovic should be owned in all standard leagues, but his upside isn't high enough to toss him back in your lineup until he puts up some decent lines.

The team will bring Mike Scott off the bench and start DeMarre Carroll at power forward. The Hawks can get away with the smaller lineup against the Knicks, but Scott should still see plenty of action. Mack is still a risky player even though he's in the starting lineup.

Pekovic shouldn't be on any waiver wires as he was averaging 18.0 points and 9.1 rebounds on 53.2 percent shooting before his injury.

Ronny Turiaf and Gorgui Dieng will do their best to man the C position in Pek's absence, and fantasy owners need to start weighing their need for immediate production vs. the possibility of getting Pek back for the fantasy playoffs.
