Fri Jun 6 2014 | 00:08 | Ray Allen plays 32 minutes off bench |
Ray Allen played 32 minutes vs. the Spurs during Game 1's 110-95 loss on Thursday, making 6-of-12 from the field for 16 points with three boards, three assists, five steals and three 3-pointers. |
He suffered a bloody nose in the first half, but it didn't seem to affect him at all despite how his production dropped after that injury. The Spurs kept their eyes on Allen in transition, which was something the Pacers forgot to do in the Eastern Conference Finals. Obviously, the Spurs are a completely different challenge. |

Ray Allen was treated for a bloody nose in the second quarter of Game 1 of The Finals. |
He's fine and has already returned to the game. Allen has been red hot before his nose issue, making all three of his shots from beyond the arc for 10 points. The Spurs will have to keep a better eye on him as he gets free off the ball. |

Thu May 29 2014 | 09:57 | Ray Allen calls Stephenson antics buffoonery |
Ray Allen used the word "buffoonery" when describing Lance Stephenson's actions towards LeBron James during Wednesday's Game 5 loss to the Pacers. |
Stephenson has been trying to get under LeBron's skin all series, but put aside the trash talking Wednesday night in lieu of blowing in James' ear (click the link for the video). James laughed off Stephenson's actions after the game and said, "Lance is Lance. He's going to do what he needs to do to help his team win. As to the leaders of this team, we're going to do what it takes to help our team win." Ray Allen didn't seem as amused as he added, "No, it's just buffoonery," Allen said. "As players, we just are professional, we come out and do our jobs. He's young. He'll grow up." The Heat will try to close out the series in Miami on Friday, so we'll all just have to wait and see what Stephenson has up his sleeve for Game 6. |

Thu May 29 2014 | 00:00 | Ray Allen scores 15 despite hip injury |
Ray Allen played through his hip injury on Wednesday and hit 5-of-11 shots and three 3-pointers for 15 points, two rebounds and one assist in a loss to the Pacers. |
Allen played well and appears to be ready for Game 6, despite the injury. The Heat will need his long-distance shooting as they look to close out the Pacers on Friday in Miami. The Heat had 17 turnovers tonight, which is a big reason they lost. |

Wed May 28 2014 | 17:41 | Ray Allen (hip) going through normal routine |
Ray Allen (hip) is going through his normal routine in preparation for Wednesday's Game 5. |
His routine is part of his legacy and he's usually the first guy in the gym to get ready for games. Allen is still a game-time decision, but it would be a mild shock for him to sit. He's had a nice series and the Pacers can't seem to keep tabs on him, especially in transition. |

Wed May 28 2014 | 12:00 | Ray Allen (hip) game-time for Wednesday |
Ray Allen (hip) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday after sitting out Miami's shootaround. |
Allen has played a big role throughout the postseason and he's averaging 10.0 points in 27.0 minutes per game in the Eastern Conference finals, so his availability will have a major impact on Miami's rotation. We're unlikely to learn his status until he tests his hip during pre-game warmups. |

Tue May 27 2014 | 14:18 | Ray Allen (hip) questionable for Game 5 |
Ray Allen (hip) will travel for Wednesday's Game 5 in Indiana, but he's questionable to play. |
Allen was able to return after suffering the injury on Monday, but the Heat have a 3-1 lead in the series and they're unlikely to take any chances with their 38-year-old sharp-shooter. If he's unable to play, expect more playing time for Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers, with Toney Douglas and James Jones possibly surfacing in the rotation. |

Mon May 26 2014 | 23:27 | Ray Allen returns after minor injury |
Ray Allen left Monday's game in the third quarter due to an apparent ankle injury and returned, finishing with nine points, four boards, one assist and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes. |
He returned to the game about a minute later in real time and is obviously fine. The Pacers haven't been able to cover Allen very well in this series and probably won't be improving any time soon. His injury should be minor and he's likely ready to go for Game 5 on Wednesday. |

Sat May 24 2014 | 23:23 | Ray Allen goes 4-of-4 from downtown in win |
Ray Allen hit 4-of-6 shots and 4-of-4 3-pointers for 16 points in Saturday's 99-87 Game 3 win over the Pacers to take a 2-1 lead in the series. |
Allen was a monster tonight and we're still trying to figure out why power forward David West was trying to guard him tonight. Frank Vogel will need to come up with a new game plan before Monday's Game 4, as Allen scored 10 points and hit three 3-pointers as the Heat went on an 18-5 run to put the game away in the fourth quarter. The winner of Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead goes on to win the series 76 percent of the time, and the Pacers no longer have the homecourt advantage. The Heat snapped the Pacers streak of five straight road wins tonight. |

Wed May 14 2014 | 22:06 | Ray Allen hits huge shot in win, scores 13 |
Ray Allen hit a clutch 3-pointer to give the Heat the lead for good with 32 seconds left in Wednesday's series-clinching win over the Nets, finishing with 13 points, three boards, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes. |
He had an awesome series coming in and led all players with at least 24 minutes per game in the second round in true shooting percentage. Allen is 38 years old and he's still the master of getting free along the 3-point line, which caused countless breakdowns for the Nets on defense. Although, he's in a of a slump from deep in his last three games, making just 2-of-13 from that range. He'll likely be in the gym quite a bit to get back on track for the Eastern Conference Finals. |

He'll get a chance to beat up on the team that he started his career with after missing the last four games. Dwyane Wade (hamstring) is out again and Allen could be looking at a double-digit shot workload, which could translate to points in the teens with a couple treys. |

Wed Apr 2 2014 | 10:54 | Ray Allen (virus) probable to play Wednesday |
Ray Allen (stomach virus) is probable for Wednesday's game after participating fully in shootaround. |
The Heat went 3-1 in Allen's absence but they'll eagerly welcome back their leading bench scorer (9.7 points per game). His return will reduce the playing time of James Jones and Norris Cole, though neither of them should be owned in fantasy leagues anyway. |

Ray Allen (illness) will not play against the Raptors on Monday. |
This will be his fourth game out of the lineup due to a stomach ailment. Allen did not need to be hospitalized which is good to hear due to how long he's been sick. His fantasy owners should have moved on at this point even though he could be back as soon as Wednesday. |

Ray Allen (illness) will not play against the Bucks on Saturday. |
He won't play against the team he played for from 1996-2003 and it will be his third straight game out. Allen's stomach bug sounds really bad and hopefully he'll be ready to play on Monday vs. the Raptors. |

Fri Mar 28 2014 | 17:30 | Brad Beal figures to be ready for Friday |
Bradley Beal (hip) said his shooting woes are due to teams defending him differently. |
"Pretty much every team tries to deny me the ball, make sure I don't come off screens and shoot," Beal said. "Teams are definitely recognizing it. It's up to me to figure out a way to get past it." He also had a hip pointer injury on Wednesday, but sounds like he's ready to play. |
