Tue Feb 25 201412:11Trevor Booker to start agatinst Magic Tuesday
Trevor Booker will get the start against Orlando Tuesday night.
Booker only played eight minutes on Sunday and didn't see the court after Nene went down with a knee injury that will keep him sidelined for four-to-six weeks, but is essentially the only warm body the Wizards have left with Kevin Seraphin already declared out for Tuesday night with knee injury. Booker won't confuse anyone for an elite big man, but the sheer volume of minutes he'll likely see Tuesday night should make him a solid grab in most leagues and in daily leagues.

Sun Feb 23 201421:20Trevor Booker plays just eight minutes on Sun
Trevor Booker played just eight minutes on Sunday night with two points and one rebound.
Nene (knee) went down in the third quarter and Booker was not used at all after that. In previous instances, Booker has been the main beneficiary while Nene was out, so it's hard to entirely jump ship on him based just on tonight. Coach Randy Wittman likes to play the matchups with his big men, but Cook Book still looks like the guy to grab following Nene's injury.

Thu Feb 20 201413:10John Wall pushing for more Booker minutes
John Wall thinks Trevor Booker should be getting more playing time for the Wizards.
"He's one of those guys who feels like he should be playing more," Wall said. "The way he's been playing lately I think he definitely should." Booker had 12 points, four steals and a block in 24 minutes on Wednesday, and while Wall likes the energy he brings, Nene and Marcin Gortat aren't just going to step aside to give Booker a bigger role, but it's ultimately in Randy Wittman's hands.

Sun Feb 9 201422:36Trevor Booker comes up empty in five minutes
Trevor Booker didn't have any stats to his credit in five minutes of action on Sunday.
The veteran PF seems to have fallen out of favor with coach Randy Wittman, and his decline coincides with Kevin Seraphin playing consistently in increased minutes. Booker had a brief run as a fantasy option while Nene was injured, but at the moment he should be drifting untouched on all waiver wires.

Thu Feb 6 201400:00Trevor Booker with 10 & 6 in return
Trevor Booker returned from a personal absence and had 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks off the bench Wednesday.
He missed Monday's game, but given how well Nene is playing right now, Booker has no fantasy value. Nene is rolling again, averaging 14.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 steals over his last five - all of which have been very consistent outings.

Tue Feb 4 201415:06Trevor Booker (personal) returns to practice
Trevor Booker returned to practice on Tuesday after a brief absence for personal reasons.
Kevin Seraphin stepped up in increased minutes with Booker out on Monday but this was a temporary hitch in the Wizards' rotation, as Booker will be ready to go vs. the Spurs on Wednesday.

Mon Feb 3 201417:30Trevor Booker won't play on Monday night
Trevor Booker (personal) will not play against the Blazers on Monday night.
There is no reason given and he should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Spurs. Booker played 23 minutes in two of the last three games, so his playing time should go to Kevin Seraphin and perhaps Jan Vesely.

Wed Jan 22 201422:52Cook Book plays well in return vs. Boston
Trevor Booker returned to the lineup on Wednesday with nine points, eight boards, two assists and three fouls in 20 minutes of action against the Celtics.
He looked fine and set up shop under the boards for most of his time out there. Booker missed Monday's game due to an ankle injury and it would appear that problem is behind him. Nene is healthy right now, so Booker isn't really worth owning in most leagues. That will change if/when Nene needs to miss time.

Wed Jan 22 201419:14Trevor Booker will play vs. Boston
Trevor Booker (ankle) is active against the Celtics on Wednesday.
He should be able to resume his usual role of 21.4 minutes per game. Booker missed Monday's game due to his sprained ankle and will continue to come off the bench. Kevin Seraphin can be cut in most leagues.

Wed Jan 22 201417:33Trevor Booker is a game-time call vs. Boston
Trevo Booker (ankle) is a game-time decision to face the Celtics on Wednesday.
He's going to warm up and see how he feels. Booker missed Monday's game with his sprained ankle and it allowed Kevin Seraphin to turn some heads. Fantasy owners might want to avoid this situation for now until the Wizards announce more on his status.

Tue Jan 21 201414:50Trevor Booker (ankle) game-time for Wed.
Trevor Booker (ankle) will be a game-time decision Wednesday against Boston.
Despite missing Tuesday's practice, Booker did some running and shooting, and coach Randy Wittman said he "felt better." If he ends up sitting out, Jan Vesely and Kevin Seraphin stand to pick up the extra minutes.

Tue Jan 21 201412:38Trevor Booker misses Tuesday practice
Trevor Booker (ankle sprain) missed practice on Tuesday.
Booker was seen walking alright, so it is unclear at the moment whether or not he'll be able to suit up for Wednesday's game against the Celtics. Kevin Seraphin and Jan Vesely are in line to inherit Booker's minutes, but neither one brings a whole lot of fantasy value to the table.

Mon Jan 20 201412:41Trevor Booker (ankle) won't play Monday
Trevor Booker (sprained ankle) will not play in Monday's matinee vs. the 76ers.
Kevin Seraphin and Jan Vesely stand to gain some playing time in his absence, with the bulk of it falling to Vesely, but neither guy stands out as a viable pickup with Booker day-to-day.

Sat Jan 18 201419:53Trevor Booker sprains left ankle on Sat.
Trevor Booker suffered a sprained left ankle on Saturday and is questionable to return.
He went to the locker room with the trainer and didn't have too bad of a limp. Booker plays really hard and throws his weight around in the paint, but it's led to s slew of injuries. If he can't return, Jan Vesely will get more minutes at power forward. He's not a very good good free throw shooter, though.

Wed Jan 15 201422:55Trevor Booker double-doubles off bench
Trevor Booker hit all five of his shots for 13 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes off the Wizards bench on Wednesday.
His minutes have really dipped recently and he's been struggling to score and rebound, at least until tonight. Given the high minutes and the fact he hit all of his shots, this one looks more like a fluke than anything else, especially since Nene is playing at such a high level. We'll need to see Booker do this a couple more times in the near future before getting too excited about tonight's nice game.

Tue Jan 14 201400:40Trevor Booker scores six points off bench
Trevor Booker moved back to the bench on Monday and played 24 minutes, scoring six points with two boards.
The move to the bench is certainly going to hurt and the move seemed like it was going to happen. Booker owners can probably cut him in just about all leagues.

Fri Jan 10 201421:36Booker fading away with Nene in good health
Trevor Booker played just 18 minutes on Friday against the Pacers, scoring three points on 1-of-4 shooting with five rebounds and one steal.
Booker has been spotty even with Nene playing limited minutes, and now that the Brazilian big man is back to a bigger workload owners that turned to Booker can move on.

Wed Jan 8 201423:08Trevor Booker losing playing time
Trevor Booker played just 16 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday, scoring two points with four boards and one assist.
It was a bad matchup for the Cook Book against Anthony Davis and perhaps that's why his minutes were way down tonight. Booker's minutes have decreased in each of his last three games, so his owners have every right to be a little nervous. Plus, Jan Vesely is playing better, which is very unusual.

Sat Jan 4 201400:07Booker goes for eight and 13 with two steals
Trevor Booker scored eight points on 4-of-7 shooting with 13 rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes on Monday against the Raptors.
Booker has turned it on just moments after he was likely dropped in a standard format, but after some bigger outings it's time to consider him for pickup again.
