Wed Jan 1 201421:01Trevor Booker grabs career-high 19 boards
Trevor Booker had 10 points, a career-high 19 rebounds, a steal and a block on 5-of-9 shooting in another start for the Wizards.
It was tough to see this coming, as it was his first double-digit rebounds game since Dec. 18 and just his fourth of the season. Nene came off the bench again and was very quiet with four points, three rebounds, two steals and a block on 2-of-7 shooting in 24 minutes, and Booker may end up keeping the starting gig for the rest of the season. If he wasn't owned in your league before tonight's explosion, he probably will be by Thursday afternoon.

Mon Dec 30 201322:12Booker goes for six and five in 22 minutes
Trevor Booker scored six points on 2-of-6 shooting with five rebounds in 22 minutes on Monday.
Booker has been a stop-gap solution in his current starting role but with numbers like these owners can feel free to move on in 12-14 team formats.

Sat Dec 28 201322:21Trevor Booker still starting at PF for Wiz
Trevor Booker started again on Saturday and had 10 points, nine rebounds and a block in 32 minutes.
Nene came off the bench again and had seven points in 19 minutes. He wasn't needed after the break, as the Wizards led 62-41 at halftime in one of their easiest wins of the season. Booker has gone for 10-9-1 in each of his last two games and could have some value as long as he continues to start over Nene.

Sat Dec 21 201315:58Booker starts, goes scoreless in 13 minutes
Although he started at PF again on Saturday, Trevor Booker went scoreless in just 14 minutes of action.
Kevin Seraphin's emergence and Nene's return to health have combined to stymie Booker, whose numbers have dropped off precipitously following a 24-point, 14-rebound eruption on Dec. 13. A frontcourt injury could thrust him back into the fantasy spotlight, but at this rate he's not going to help your team in the Wizards' upcoming two-game week.

Tue Dec 17 201301:01Trevor Booker scores six points in 32 minutes
Trevor Booker scored six points with four boards and one assist in 32 minutes against the Knicks on Monday.
He got into a little bit of foul trouble in what could be his last start for the foreseeable future. Nene (Achilles) is targeting a return to the lineup on Wednesday, which would almost certainly bump Booker back to the bench. If you own Booker and have your eye on picking someone else up, a preemptive move could be in order.

Sat Dec 14 201322:42Trevor Booker has solid game vs. Clippers
Trevor Booker was in a little foul trouble against the Clippers on Saturday, scoring 12 points with seven boards in 27 minutes.
The Clippers frontcourt get their fair share of opposing big men into foul trouble, and Booker is the latest to join that group. He put up 24 points and 12 boards on Friday and Nene (Achilles) could miss more time, so he should be viewed as a hold for now.

Fri Dec 13 201322:39Trevor Booker cooks up 24 and 12 vs. Hawks
Trevor Booker excelled in the starting lineup against the Hawks on Friday with 24 points, 12 boards, two assists, one steal and one block in 44 minutes.
He was coming off a double-double on Monday and was very effective on the low block for the Wizards. He started for the injured Nene (Achilles) and should hold value as long as Nene is in street clothes. There is no timetable for Nene to return, but the injury is not considered serious. Still, tonight's line is enough to pick up Booker in most leagues for his short-term appeal.

Mon Dec 9 201321:55Trevor Booker double-doubles in loss
Trevor Booker double-doubled against the Nuggets on Monday with 12 points, 12 boards, one assist and two blocks in 33 minutes.
He's not the flashiest of players, but he puts forth a lot of effort. Booker had five offensive boards and he tends to live in the paint on offense. He should continue to start while Nene is out of the lineup, but Nene's injury is not considered serious. In 14 starts last season, Booker averaged 8.1 points, 6.0 boards, 1.0 steals and 0.6 blocks, so that serves as a fair expectation in the short term.

Sat Dec 7 201300:44Booker goes for nine and nine in loss
Trevor Booker scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting with nine rebounds and one block in 26 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Booker has become the first big man off the bench for Washington and with Nene leaving the game due to his Achilles' injury he'll be worth a speculative look. Just don't expect a whole lot more than what he gave tonight.

Mon Dec 2 201316:18Trevor Booker is frustrated with role
Trevor Booker is frustrated with his current role with the Wizards.
"It's definitely frustrating that I'm not out there," Booker said. "When I'm healthy, I feel like nobody can hold me back. When I'm on the court, I feel like it's no stopping my energy and the things I do on the court." He has DNP-CDs in four of his last five games and the one game was due to Nene sitting out. on Nov. 29 Booker doesn't seem to be getting playing time soon, but he'll be thrust into a decent role once Nene needs another day off.

Sat Nov 30 201303:11Booker plays 25 minutes with Nene out
Trevor Booker played 25 minutes with Nene (Achilles) out on Friday, scoring four points on 2-of-5 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.
Booker will be the guy owners want to take a look at first if anything serious happens to Nene (at least for now), but until we catch wind of anything like that owners can watch this action from the wire. Jan Vesely (zero points, two boards, one steal, two blocks, 20 minutes) drew the start and he hasn't been productive since he got busy with his lady in front of the cameras on draft day.

Wed Nov 13 201312:09Trevor Booker falls out of Wizards rotation
Trevor Booker (finger) failed to record any statistics in five minutes off the bench on Tuesday.
This confirms that Booker's finger hasn't been the cause of his recent inactivity -- he's simply fallen out of Randy Wittman's tight rotation. He could start at PF overnight if Nene gets injured but for now he's persona non grata in fantasy leagues.

Sun Nov 10 201322:17Trevor Booker out of Wizards' rotation?
Trevor Booker (finger) did not leave Washington's bench on Sunday, and beat writer Michael Lee suggests that Booker has fallen out of the rotation.
We'll remove him from the injury report unless we hear otherwise, but it sounds like Randy Wittman is simply going with heavy doses of Marcin Gortat and Nene backed up by Al Harrington and Kevin Seraphin.

Sat Nov 9 201300:55Trevor Booker didn't play on Friday
Trevor Booker did not play on Friday night.
The Wizards have been pretty tight-lipped on his finger injury, but he said his finger is pretty mangled on Wednesday. Marcin Gorat and Nene have done a great job holding down the fort and Booker isn't really needed right now.

Thu Nov 7 201312:32Trevor Booker (finger) questionable for Fri
Trevor Booker (dislocated finger) is questionable to return against the Nets on Friday.
Booker was expected to play in Wednesday's game against Philadelphia, but was instead held out of the lineup. We'll be monitoring for updates and should know more after Friday's shootaround. Nene Hilario, Kevin Seraphin, and Al Harrington will all continue to see a minutes boost while Booker is out of the lineup.

Tue Nov 5 201315:38Trevor Booker (finger) expected to play Wed.
Trevor Booker (dislocated finger) is expected to play vs. the 76ers on Wednesday.
He practiced without limitations on Tuesday and Randy Wittman said, "[Booker] is going to be fine if I had to guess." Nene is still dealing with pain in his calf and Achilles, which should open up more minutes for Booker even if Nene is in the lineup vs. the 76ers.

Sun Nov 3 201319:41Trevor Booker leaves w/ jammed finger
Trevor Booker headed into the Wizards locker room after jamming his finger during Sunday's game, but he's available to return.
Presumably X-rays have ruled out any breaks in his injured digit, which is great news for a Wizards' frontcourt already playing without Nene (calf, Achilles).

Fri Nov 1 201323:10Trevor Booker plays 28 minutes at PF
Trevor Booker played 28 minutes in Friday's 109-102 loss to the Sixers, scoring 10 points with eight boards, two assists, two steals and one block.
His minutes increased for the 20 he played in the opener due to Nene (calf) sitting out. Booker isn't too bad at producing stats on a per-minute basis, so if Nene misses more time, he could be an asset in deeper leagues. Although, Nene was a game-time call and ruled out an hour before the game, so the injury is more of a day-to-day thing.

Wed Oct 23 201321:52Booker looks like starter over Seraphin
Trevor Booker started again for the Wizards in Wednesday's preseason game and had 10 points, seven rebounds, a steal and a block in 23 minutes.
Booker has been getting the starts at power forward, alongside Nene, and it appears that he might have won the job. The Wiz may be holding Kevin Seraphin back in order to be a healthy back up for Nene, while Al Harrington might have emerged as the No. 2 PF on this team. Seraphin should quickly become relevant again when the first Nene injury hits, but also keep in mind this is just how it appears to us, and nothing has been written in stone. Seraphin had six points, three boards, a steal and block in 15 minutes.

Tue Oct 15 201309:43Trevor Booker (knee) feels good after debut
Trevor Booker said that his knee felt good after playing 18 minutes in his preseason debut on Saturday.
"Bumps and bruises. But I felt good out there. My knee felt good. I just got to get back in game shape," he said. Al Harrington (knee) isn't 100 percent and Nene (personal reasons) is unavailable for Tuesday's game vs. Miami, which leaves more playing time available for Booker, Jan Vesely and Kevin Seraphin.
