Sat Oct 12 201319:36Trevor Booker (knee) returns on Saturday
Trevor Booker (knee) returned to action on Saturday with three points, six rebounds and one block in 18 minutes.
It was encouraging to see him make it through the game without any obvious discomfort, as the last thing Washington needs is another big man on the injury list. Booker should have an increased role with Emeka Okafor (herniated disk) out indefinitely, but he's not worth targeting in average fantasy leagues.

Sat Oct 12 201316:57Trevor Booker ready to return on Saturday
Trevor Booker (knee) is available to play in Saturday's preseason game.
The game is in Brazil and Booker hasn't had any setbacks since the news of his shockwave therapy broke back in late September. He'll be in the rotation with Emeka Okafor (neck) out, but will just be there for depth.

Fri Oct 11 201312:35Trevor Booker (knee) hopes to play Saturday
Trevor Booker (knee) hopes to play in Saturday's exhibition in Brazil.
Booker said he's "progressing well" and Coach Randy Wittman has approved Booker's plan to play as long as his knee feels good. After the Wizards return from Brazil, they'll continue the preseason with games on Oct. 15, 17, 19, 22 and 23.

Sun Oct 6 201311:11Trevor Booker cleared for non-contact drills
Trevor Booker (knee) has been cleared for non-contact drills, but is still not likely to play in the Wizards' preseason opener vs. the Nets.
Booker could see additional minutes with the injury to Emeka Okafor (herniated C4 disk in neck), but he himself needs to get healthy to receive those minutes. If Booker is able to step on the floor, he is likely be in line for 24-30 minutes a night, and he has the potential sustain some late round value.

Sat Oct 5 201316:28Booker hoping to participate in drills soon
Trevor Booker (knee) is hoping to participate in Sunday's drills with the team.
He had shock wave treatment back in September and the team is being cautious with him. The Wizards have already taken a big blow with Emeka Okafor (neck) out indefinitely, which means Booker could be one of the first big men off the bench.

Fri Oct 4 201318:58Booker (knee) out for Friday's practice
Trevor Booker (knee) did not practice on Friday.
Booker would be the guy to replace Emeka Okafor's (neck/back) minutes in the Wizards frontcourt while Okafor is out, but he's having a hard time staying on the court. If he can sustain a 24-30 minute role this season, which appears to be in doubt, he could hold some late round value.

Sun Sep 29 201320:37Trevor Booker (knee) may practice this week
Trevor Booker revealed that he had shock wave therapy on his ailing knee three weeks ago, but coach Randy Wittman expects him to begin practicing in a few days.
"I think I may have starting playing pick up too early," Booker said. "My knee got a little sore but it's feeling pretty good right now and I talked to the doctor today. He said it's looking good. He said to take it day by day." Booker projects as depth at PF for the Wizards, though he may be pressed into some C minutes depending how long Emeka Okafor (neck/back) is out, and whether Nene can stay healthy.

Sat Sep 28 201319:08Trevor Booker limited by sore knee Saturday
Trevor Booker was limited by a sore right knee during Wizards' practice on Saturday.
Booker did participate in part of the drills and workouts, as did Otto Porter (hip flexor), but it's still a discouraging start to training camp. The Wizards are already without Emeka Okafor (herniated disc) and Chris Singleton (toe surgery), so Booker may start the season with a sizable bench role if he's healthy.

Mon Apr 15 201322:26Trevor Booker scores 16 points with 13 boards
Trevor Booker played 33 minutes in a start on Monday and had 16 points, 13 boards, two assists and two steals against the Nets.
Nene has been shut down and Booker is likely going to have a similar opportunity on Wednesday. Booker is worth a look, but going up against the Bulls on Wednesday isn't the same as going against Kris Humphries.

Tue Apr 9 201323:44Trevor Booker plays seven minutes vs. NYK
Trevor Booker played seven minutes against the Knicks on Tuesday and had two points with two boards.
He bruised his tailbone on Sunday due to a collision in the paint with Courtney Lee. Booker is playing just 18 minutes per game this year and has no fantasy value while the other Washington big men are healthy.

Mon Apr 8 201317:59Trevor Booker (tailbone) iffy to play vs. NYK
Trevor Booker (tailbone) is questionable to play in Tuesday's game vs. the Knicks.
Booker is "sore" after getting kneed in the tailbone during Sunday's game, in which he played only six minutes. If he can't suit up, the Wizards will have a few extra minutes for Kevin Seraphin, Nene, Emeka Okafor and Jan Vesely.

Sun Apr 7 201319:00Trevor Booker heads to the locker room
Trevor Booker went to the locker room during the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. Boston with a bruised tailbone.
He had a small collision in the paint with Courtney Lee, then went to the bench to get checked out before heading back to the locker room. Kevin Seraphin, Nene and Emeka Okafor should help fill in while Booker is on the mend.

Mon Mar 18 201323:10Booker goes for four and six off the bench
Trevor Booker scored four points on 2-of-6 shooting with six rebounds and no steals or blocks in 27 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Booker has been on the radar in very deep leagues but we've seen enough that owners can safely leave him on the wire in most formats.

Fri Mar 15 201322:23Trevor Booker grabs 13 boards vs. Hornets
Trevor Booker grabbed 13 boards to go with two points and one block in 27 minutes against the Hornets on Friday.
He's coming off a double-double on Wednesday and is coming around. Booker still has a long way to go to get on the radar in standard leagues since the Wizards have a mess in the frontcourt. Kevin Seraphin (10 points and one board in 18 minutes), Emeka Okafor (four points, two boards and one block) and Nene (nine points, two boards and two blocks) could all take a small hit with Booker becoming a factor, though.

Wed Mar 13 201322:20Trevor Booker goes for 13 & 12 in loss
Trevor Booker hit 4-of-5 shots for season highs of 13 points and 12 rebounds in 22 minutes of Wednesday's win.
Don't get too excited, as this was just his fifth game in double figures scoring of the season, and first since Feb. 18. This was his second double-double of the season, but the first one came back on Nov. 3 in the second game of the season. In other words, forget about Booker for now.

Thu Feb 28 201304:29Booker starts, Seraphin plays w/o Nene
Trevor Booker started on Wednesday for Nene, who was out with a shoulder injury, and had four points and five rebounds in 17 minutes.
Kevin Seraphin, who had played a total of 10 minutes over his last four games, had 12 points and three rebounds on 6-of-10 shooting in 17 minutes, and both big men would be worth a look if Nene is ever shut down for the season. But as of now, Nene is still the player to own here, despite tonight's disappointing DNP.

Wed Feb 27 201318:54Trevor Booker gets the start in place of Nene
Trevor Booker will get the start in place of Nene (shoulder) against the Pistons on Wednesday.
Nene was expected to play but was downgraded to a game-time call about an hour before tip-off and ruled out shortly after that. Booker last started in the Wizards' seventh game of the season and this could be a nice opportunity for him to build on the expanded minutes he's been getting as of late. He's not worth owning yet, but owners should keep an eye on him, especially considering Nene's constant health concerns.

Tue Feb 19 201322:39Trevor Booker goes for 10 & 6 in loss
Trevor Booker had 10 points and six rebounds in 20 minutes on Tuesday.
He played a lot more than Kevin Seraphin and is finally getting healthy. He's still not worth owning, but owners should keep an eye on him going forward.

Wed Feb 6 201318:44Trevor Booker active Wednesday vs. Knicks
Trevor Booker (wrist) was active Wednesday against the Knicks.
Booker was active Monday as well but received a DNP-CD. If he does get on the court Wednesday, it's only likely to be a few minutes off the bench.
