MLB.com's Bill Ladson says Walters was unhappy with the assignment and refused to answer questions from reporters. He had been competing for a backup middle infield job and was batting .379/.455/.621 in 33 appearances in the Grapefruit League. The Nationals simply don't have room on their 25-man roster. | ||||||
