Brad Mills allowed three runs on four hits and four walks in 5 1/3 innings on Friday, improving to 1-1 in Toronto's 5-4 win over the Orioles.
He struck out five. Not exactly an excellent outing, but likely good enough to earn Mills another start. He's worth a look in AL-only leagues.

Sat Jul 30 201115:45Mills impressive in tough-luck loss
Brad Mills allowed two runs over seven innings in Saturday's loss to the Rangers.
Mills, who was making his first start in the majors this season, scattered six hits while walking two, striking out five and hitting a batter. His only mistake was a two-run by Mitch Moreland in the top of the second inning. The 26-year-old southpaw wasn't given any assurances beyond Saturday, but he has presumably earned himself another opportunity.

Mills was promoted from Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday after the Blue Jays executed a three-team, eight-player trade with the Cardinals and White Sox. He's posted a cool 3.99 ERA this year in the Vegas rotation but should probably be avoided for fantasy purposes Saturday against the dangerous Texas lineup.

Fri Apr 22 201114:15Brad Mills could take Ceci's rotation spot
Brad Mills could take the recently demoted Brett Cecil's place in the Blue Jays rotation.
Marc Rzepczynski and Carlos Villanueva are also both candidates, but Mills looks to be the favorite at the moment. In 30 career major-league innings, Mills is the owner of a 7.80 ERA and 1.77 WHIP, and would not be a wise immediate flier in AL-only leagues were he to be recalled.

Fri Mar 11 201122:06Mills among Blue Jays' cuts
Blue Jays reassigned LHP Brad Mills, RHPs Joel Carreno and Alan Farina and OF Darin Mastroianni to minor league camp.
Mills' star was on the rise after a breakout season in the minors in 2008, but he's faded and at this point looks more like a reliever. Farina is coming off a terrific year at High- and Double-A out of the bullpen, but he needs more seasoning.

Mills yileded just two hits to earn his first MLB win, but let's not get too excited here.
