Hahn picked up his fifth win of the season Saturday, allowing just one run on four hits and four walks over 7.2 innings while striking out four.

After a rough patch in May, Hahn has found his footing again, reeling off seven quality starts in his last eight appearances. He'll take a solid 3.40 ERA into his next start, at home against the Royals on Friday.

Hahn improved to 4-5 with a quality start Monday against San Diego as he allowed one run on three hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out four.

Hahn rebounded nicely from a short start Wednesday against Texas in which he couldn't make it out of the fourth inning. he has five quality starts in his last six and has allowed one run or fewer in three of them. He's been pounding the strike zone over this stretch and has a 24:9 K:BB over his past 38.1 innings.

For his own sake, Hahn could stand to benefit from getting deeper into his starts, as the Oakland bullpen has been atrocious to this point in the season. In eight trips to the mound, Hahn has posted a 31:11 K:BB over 44.2 innings while holding the opposition to just two home runs. He's currently lined up for a pair of home starts next week against the Tigers and Yankees.
