Duffy finished a single shy of the cycle Sunday against the Rockies, finishing 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, a solo home run and three runs scored.

That is now back-to-back games of three hits and a home run for Duffy, who has raised his season OPS to .840. The rookie has been a big surprise for fantasy owners as well as the Giants this season, as he has taken over the starting third base job and continues to bat in the middle of the lineup, maximizing his chances for consistent production.

Duffy went 3-for-4 Saturday with a double, three runs scored, two RBI and his seventh home run of the season.

He continues to be one of the year's biggest surprises, and Duffy is now slashing .294/.342/.458 on the season with 27 runs and 36 RBI in 63 games.

Duffy will bat third in the order Wednesday against the Padres.

Angel Pagan will jump to the leadoff spot to replace Nori Aoki (leg), opening the door for Duffy to bat third for the second time in his career (second time this season). Duffy has hit safely in eight straight games, raising his average 10 points over that span, but it remains to be seen if this change will stick until either Aoki or Hunter Pence (wrist) make it back.

Duffy went 1-for-4 with a two-RBI triple in Thursday's win over the Mariners.

Duffy has been feasting on Mariners' pitching in their four-game set, hitting .438 with a homer and four RBI. He is a must-own in leagues where he has middle infield eligibility, but his .293/.342/.448 slash line is even useful as a third baseman in most leagues.

Duffy is out of the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Alex Pavlovic of the Bay Area News Group reports.

Duffy will relinquish a start at the hot corner to Casey McGehee for the first time since May 23. Chalk this up as a regular maintenance day for the young Duffy, who should be back in action for Monday's series opener against the Mariners.

Duffy hit his fifth home run of the season and reached base three times in Tuesday's win over the Mets.

Duffy finished 2-for-3 to raise his average to .289. Duffy has never hit double digit home runs in his professional career, but he's gotten halfway there quickly in 2015. Four of Duffy's five home runs have come since May 22nd, and his slugging percentage has jumped 77 points in that span.

Duffy has cooled off a bit since being handed the full-time job at third base on May 24. He is batting .227 with two home runs over that span. Casey McGehee was recently called back up from the minors after Jean Machi was placed on the disabled list. He likely won't cut into Duffy's playing time too much, but there is more pressure for him to produce with the everyday role.

Since being officially named the starter on May 24, Duffy is batting .308 (4-for-13) with two runs, a homer, and three RBI. He is definitely worth an add while he is making good contact, as Duffy should have middle infield eligibility in most leagues.

Duffy had been starting to take playing time away from Casey McGehee, but should be taking over full-time after McGehee was designated for assignment Sunday. The right-handed Duffy is batting .299/.330/.402 over his first 97 at-bats of the season, and his new role makes him worth a look in deeper and NL-only formats.

Casey McGehee's offensive struggles this season have allowed Duffy to pick up more at-bats than expected, and the 24-year-old has surprisingly been one of the Giants' most effective hitters. While he shouldn't be expected to provide much power, the contact-hitting skills Duffy showed in the minors may allow him to sustain a regular spot in the lineup over McGehee. Duffy is batting an impressive .301 on the season and has accrued 18 RBI, good for third on the team.

Duffy is in the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.

Casey McGehee will get the night off, as Duffy enters the starting lineup playing third base and hitting eighth. Duffy is hitting .382 with nine RBI in May, and he may be pushing for more reps at third base with McGehee's season average lingering below .200.

Manager Bruce Bochy has found ways to keep Duffy's hot bat in the lineup this past week, seeing time at third base and occasionally making starts at second. He has made six starts in the past eight games, batting .500 (12-for-24) over that span with eight RBI and Wednesday's stolen base. He still isn't quite seeing everyday at-bats, so it is hard to recommend him in standard leagues, but those in deeper leagues should take a look at Duffy at their middle infield spots.

Duffy has been playing mostly third base in May, but he will get the start at the keystone Wednesday with regular second baseman Joe Panik getting a day off. Duffy knocked in five runs in Tuesday's game and is 10-for-24 (.417) at the plate this month.

The 24-year-old has now seen action in five of the team's last six games and has raised his average to .273 on the season to go along with 10 RBI. He is earning himself at-bats in a utility role at the moment and could unseat Casey McGehee at third base if the latter doesn't start performing.

Duffy will start at third base for a third straight time Thursday.

Duffy looks to be moving into an everyday role at third base for the Giants. He's in the lineup again Thursday, batting eighth, while Casey McGehee will once again sit. Duffy hasn't been spectacular offensively, but has put together a solid .263/.306/.351 batting line thus far, which is better than his counterpart.

Duffy is in the lineup Friday against the Angels, MLB Network Radio reports.

With Joe Panik hitting poorly against lefties, Duffy is in the lineup against the Angels left-handed starter C.J. Wilson. Duffy is 11-for-46 (.239) with seven RBI on the season, and is just 3-for-17 (.176) against lefties.

McGehee did make an appearance as a pinch-hitter and could be back in the lineup Friday, which would push the hot-hitting Duffy back to the bench. It would be hard for manager Bruce Bochy to keep Duffy's bat out of the lineup card, especially with how anemic the Giants' offense has been this season, but he simply doesn't have a place to play him once McGehee is back. Duffy did shag some fly balls in the outfield during spring training, but that seems like an unlikely scenario given his lack of experience at the position.
