Sun Apr 27 2014 | 09:37 | Tommy Joseph could have another concussion |
Phillies catching prospect Tommy Joseph has been placed on Double-A Reading's disabled list with a possible concussion. |
Joseph suffered the head injury on Friday. It's especially concerning because the 22-year-old catcher has a history of concussions and was limited to 36 games because of them last season. "Oh yeah," general manager Ruben Amaro said. "Absolutely. We are worried about him." |

Sun Jan 26 2014 | 16:12 | Tommy Joseph to begin season back at AA |
According to Phillies minor league director Joe Jordan, Tommy Joseph will begin the 2014 season back at Double-A Reading. |
The 22-year-old backstop appeared in just 36 minor league games in 2013 due to concussion issues. Widely regarded as one of the top offensive catching prospects in the game, he's unlikely to contribute anything of value to fantasy leagues in 2014. |
