Atlanta Braves outfielder Jorge Soler began his team debut with a bang on Saturday. He went 3-for-4 with an RBI single in the 8-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Soler has struggled at the plate this season, but offers huge upside in terms of power. He is a threat to go deep everytime he steps up to the plate. He is slashing .199/.293/.375 with 13 homers and 38 RBI in 95 games on the season. Soler isn't worth rostering in most fantasy formats, but maybe a change of scenery will help his value.

ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Braves’ flurry of trade-deadline moves on Friday highlighted how fortunate they are to be in the NL East, where any team close to .500 is still relevant. Though the Braves entered the day one game under .500, they were only four games behind the first-place New York Mets. The Atlanta Braves continued to revamp their outfield on Friday, acquiring Jorge Soler from the Kansas City Royals just before the deadline passed, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. There's no word on the return yet for Kansas City, but Soler is now the third outfielder that Atlanta acquired Friday after trading for Eddie Rosario and Adam Duvall. Soler has struggled at the plate this year with a .192 average and .658 OPS, but he has still managed to slug 13 homers with 37 RBI and 38 runs scored over 94 games. He won't figure to have much value in fantasy outside of deeper formats.
