Ty Wigginton hit a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Orioles a 3-2 win and a series sweep of the Red Sox. | ||||||
Nick Markakis lead off the inning against Jonathan Papelbon with a walk, then went to second on an error when Papelbon threw over to first. Wigginton then doubled to center and Markakis scored standing up to end the game. Wigginton had been hit by starter Josh Beckett twice earlier in the game, so it's safe to say he got his revenge in this one. | ||||||
