Lincecum was shelled by the Dodgers on Sunday, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk through just 1.1 innings.
The veteran ran into trouble in the second inning when he allowed five men to reach base and allowed four runs before he was yanked. Lincecum has been solid on the whole, as his ERA sits at 3.86 despite this poor outing, and will look to bounce back Saturday against the Rockies.

Lincecum only lasted 5.2 innings against the Mariners on Tuesday, but he pitched well enough to get the win, giving up two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three.
Despite having a woeful 57:35 K:BB ratio in 73.1 innings, Lincecum has somehow managed a 3.31 ERA and he was able to notch his seventh win of the season Tuesday. His 1.35 WHIP, 4.08 FIP and 4.37 xFIP suggest he has not been as good as his ERA indicates, so while he is undoubtedly useful in deeper leagues, owners should expect some regression going forward.

Lincecum lasted 4.2 innings, giving up three runs -- two earned -- on four hits and three walks while striking out five against the Mets on Thursday.
Looking to win his seventh straight decision against New York, Lincecum was lifted after only 4.2 innings. He threw 102 pitches (58 for strikes) and somehow managed to keep the Mets hitless until Travis d'Arnaud blooped an RBI double with two outs in the fourth. Lincecum holds a steady 3.33 ERA for the season, and he'll look to bounce back in his next start Tuesday against the Mariners.

Lincecum labored a bit through six innings, allowing four runs on five hits, walking two and striking out four, but came away with a 5-4 victory against the Phillies.
He threw 94 pitches (61 for strikes) and allowed a pair of home runs but kept his team in the game and was rewarded with a win. Lincecum (6-3, 3.29 ERA) has been fairly steady all season as he makes the adjustment to more of a finesse pitcher, but he is clearly not the same pitcher who won two Cy Young awards with dominating stuff.

Lincecum (5-3) was tagged for four runs on eight hits and a pair of walks in just 4.1 innings Saturday against visiting Atlanta. He struck out five.
Those who rolled with Lincecum on the strength of his matchup with the light-hitting Braves ended up being sorely disappointed, as Tiny Tim followed up a scoreless first by giving up a run in each of the next four innings. He's now given up eight runs in his last two starts, bringing some course correction to his luck-boosted ERA.

Lincecum surrendered four runs on five hits in Monday's win over Milwaukee.
Lincecum tossed five innings on Monday, walking three and striking out four. He wasn't at his best, but he did enough to keep the Giants in it, and he got great run support from his offense. Lincecum is now 5-2 with a 2.56 ERA and 1.25 WHIP. He'll look for win number six against the Braves at home in his next start.

Lincecum (4-2) won Wednesday against the Dodgers, striking out four while giving up three hits and two walks in seven scoreless innings.
Lincecum won his third straight decision and his fourth straight home start for the first time since 2009, and he passed Hall of Famer Carl Hubbell for fourth place on the franchise list with 1,680 strikeouts. The Giants are now winners of five straight and Lincecum is beginning to pitch like his old carefree, confident self. Lincecum has a 2.08 ERA this season, and he'll look to lower it even more when he faces off against Milwaukee in his next scheduled start Monday.

Lincecum gave up three earned runs on five hits over 4.2 innings in Thursday's loss the Reds.
Lincecum walked five batters in just 4.2 innings on Thursday and he really seemed to be struggling with control. When he did toss it over the plate, the Reds were hitting it hard. Lincecum has been very solid up to this point and still holds an ERA of 2.43 so owners shouldn't start to worry just yet.

Lincecum pitched a gem Friday, going six strong while striking out eight in the 6-0 win over Miami.
This was the best Lincecum has looked in some time. He allowed only three hits in the game and has appeared to find his old form this season with a gaudy 2.00 ERA this season. He'll look to continue his strong start against Cincinnati next Thursday.

Lincecum (2-2) tossed a gem against the Angels on Sunday, going eight innings without surrendering a run and striking out four.
Lincecum rebounded from his worst start of the year with his longest outing of the season Sunday. He was aggressive against the Angels, throwing 71 of his 106 pitches for strikes. He also used his fastball 58 percent of the time after throwing it just 42 percent of the time in his previous four starts. If he can continue to locate his sub-par fastball, then he will have success with his excellent off-speed pitches. Lincecum has a favorable matchup at home against the Marlins this Friday.

Lincecum (1-2) turned in his worst start of the season Monday, surrendering four runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out two over four innings in the loss to the Dodgers.
Lincecum owners had to be delighted that his start at Coors Field was rained out on Sunday, giving him the chance to pitch in pitcher-friendly Dodgers' Stadium on Monday. He didn't take advantage of the favorable schedule adjustment, as the Dodgers knocked him out of the game before the fifth inning. Lincecum took a huge step backwards after a strong start to the season and it looks like it's going to be another roller coaster year for the former ace. He is worth owning in deeper and NL-only leagues, but he is strictly a matchup play in standard mixed leagues. That being said, his next start comes at home against a righty-heavy Angels' lineup.
Sun Apr 26 201514:59Lincecum will start Monday's series opener against Dodgers
Lincecum will start Monday's series opener against the Dodgers, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Lincecum had his scheduled start Sunday postponed due to rain, but manager Bruce Bochy will simply bump his rotation forward a day. It's a major break for Lincecum owners, as the righty will avoid the hitter-friendly Coors Field.
Sun Apr 26 201513:53Lincecum will not make regularly scheduled start Sunday
Lincecum will not make his regularly scheduled start Sunday, as the game has been postponed due to weather, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
Lincecum and the rest of the Giants will get the day off, with no makeup plans made clear yet by either team. The Giants are set to open a three-game road series against the Dodgers on Monday.

Lincecum picked up his first win of 2015, tossing six innings of one-run ball with five hits, three walks, and five strikeouts.
Lincecum has pitcher well this year, despite losing more velocitly from his fastball. He is down more than 2 miles per hour from last year, but has compensated by generating significantly more ground balls in the early going. It will interesting to see if these trade offs can return him to being an effective starter.

Lincecum (0-1) took the loss to the Rockies on Wednesday, surrendering four runs (three earned) on six hits while striking out four and walking one over five innings.
Lincecum got off to a poor start, surrendering a three-run shot on an 0-2 changeup to Nolan Arenado. He settled down after that, holding the Rockies to just four hits in his final four innings before being lifted for a pinch hitter. His fastball clocked in around 88 MPH, which is a couple ticks slower than it was last season. With the decreased velocity, Lincecum has shown improved control early in the year, naturally walking just two batters (two intentional walks) through 12 innings. He is still striking batters out with his plus changeup, so he may have value in deeper leagues so long as he continues to control the free passes. His next start comes at home against the Dodgers next Tuesday.

Lincecum threw seven shutout innings Friday, but didn't get a decision in a 1-0 loss to the Padres. He allowed four hits and three walks, while striking out five in the outing.
Lincecum's troubles have been well-documented over the past few years, so his leash will be short if he proves ineffective in the rotation. His days as a dominant starter are over, but this outing, following a decent spring, could be a sign that he is ready to reinvent himself and become more effective without his old fastball.

Lincecum (neck) made his return to the mound Saturday and tossed four innings of one-run ball, but failed to strike any batters out for the first time this spring.
After a shaky first inning, Lincecum settled down and retired 10 of the final 11 batters he faced. The lack of strikeouts were uncharacteristic, but Lincecum said his neck felt fine after the game and doesn't view it as an issue going forward. He will start the season as the Giants' fifth starter and has some strikeout appeal for fantasy owners; however, Lincecum shouldn't be viewed as more than a back-of-the-rotation option given his lack of consistency over the past few years.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Lincecum (neck) will not pitch again until March 21, but Bochy still thinks the right-hander can be ready by Opening Day, Carl Steward of the Bay Area News Group reports.
Lincecum now has a timetable to return but may be in some danger of missing his first start. He'll likely open the season as San Francisco's fifth starter, lining his first outing up for Apr. 10 in San Diego.

Lincecum (neck) will play catch for the second time in three days Sunday, but has not timetable for pitching in a game, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Lincecum's stiff neck started earlier in the week, seemingly effecting his last outing. He's expected to begin the season in the rotation, but a long absence could change things to begin the season.
Sat Mar 14 201519:15There no improvement with Lincecum's sore neck
There has been no improvement with Lincecum's sore neck, but the Giants are just taking it day by day, the San Francisco Chronicle's John Shea reports.
Manager Bruce Bochy said the team is hoping Lincecum's status will improve Sunday, but it seems possible he could be out through next week. With that said, he should not be highly thought of in fantasy leagues anyway. Should Lincecum prove unable to take the ball the first time through the rotation, the Giants would likely attempt to stretch out Ryan Vogelsong.
