RF Scott Schebler was 1-for-3 with his third homer in the past two games while making his 16th consecutive start, 15 in right field and one in center. He will be the regular in right field the rest of the season, manager Bryan Price said, now that Jay Bruce has moved on. "I don't want to say it relaxes you, because you never want to play relaxed, but it's good to know that you can struggle a little bit," Schebler said. "It gives you that little of a calm. When you go home at night, you don't have to think about it. I'll just go to the cage tomorrow and fix what I did the night before." Schebler's last two homers have gone the opposite way, to left field.

RF Scott Schebler had his first career two-homer game Saturday, and he got it out of the way early with a two-run homer in the first inning and a three-run homer in the second, both off Arizona RHP Zack Godley. Schebler set a career high with five RBIs and tied a career high with three hits. Schebler, who has seen the majority of playing time in right field since the Reds sent Jay Bruce to the Mets at the trade deadline, is hitting .348 with four homers and 12 RBIs in the last 12 games.

LF Scott Schebler made a bang in his first game following the Jay Bruce trade to New York but has done little offensively since. In his first game after the trade, Schebler hit a walk-off, three-run homer against St. Louis to give the Reds a 7-5 victory on Aug. 2. Monday, he snapped an 0-for-28 with a solo home run that evened the game, 1-1, in the second inning.

RF Scott Schebler (calf) left Tuesday's game during the triple-switch in the seventh. Schebler was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning, stole second and scored, but his calf tightened on him as the night progressed and Price wanted to get him out as a precaution. Schebler's status for Wednesday night's game wasn't immediately known.

OF Scott Schebler, the hero on Tuesday night when he hit a walk-off three-run home run while playing left field, moved over to right on Wednesday. Schebler played some right field while with the Dodgers and also in spring training, and on Wednesday he shined, leaping over the wall to rob Jedd Gyorko of a home run and also throwing a runner out at second. "This is a chance to take a look at him there," said manager Bryan Price, two days after RF Jay Brice was traded.

LF Scott Schebler wasn't sure if his walk-off, three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday night was going to stay fair. So, after remaining near home plate to make certain, a bat flip seemed like an appropriate reaction. "I didn't mean to pimp that way," Schebler said. "I stood there longer than I wanted to. I figured I might as well do something." Schebler, who was recalled from Triple-A Louisville prior to the game, homered off Cardinals closer Seung Hwan Oh, lifting Cincinnati to a wild 7-5 victory. Schebler batted .311 at Louisville with 18 doubles, eight triples, 13 homers and 43 RBIs in 75 game. "Scott did what he had to do," said manager Bryan Price. "He went down to Triple-A and hit like crazy and played well in left field and center field.

OF Scott Schebler made a point of shaking up his pregame routine as a way of trying to get more comfortable with coming off the bench. It worked, as he went 2-for-2 with two doubles, one that gave the Reds a lead and the other that drove in the winning run. "Pinch-hitting is new to me," he said. "It's a lot harder than it looks to come off the bench. I'm glad that maybe this routine I tried today was a little better to get ready for a game."
Fri Apr 22 201605:41OF Scott Schebler acquired to help fill void in left field
OF Scott Schebler was acquired to help fill a void in left field. However, his versatility will come in handy while CF Billy Hamilton nurses a wrist injury. Schebler started in center Thursday and went 0-for-1 with two walks -- the best result of any Cincinnati player in Jake Arrieta's no-hitter. "We knew when we traded for him that he could play all three outfield spots," manager Bryan Price said. "I like the way he runs. He's not afraid to go into the gaps or back to the wall. We're happy with the way he's progressing."

LF Scott Schebler struck out in his first three at-bats on Wednesday night. But, Jay Bruce had a premonition for his corner outfield mate. "He kept telling me the whole game that it was going to come down to me," Schebler said. "That's just how this game works. You struggle the whole game and it comes down to you." Schebler's two-run double with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Cincinnati Reds to a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. Schebler was among the players acquired by Cincinnati in the three-team trade that sent popular 3B Todd Frazier to the White Sox.

Schebler slugged a two-run homer in the eighth inning of Monday's win over the Rockies.
Schebler picked up the start in left field for the second time in five games, as the Dodgers continue to mix and match in the outfield while Enrique Hernandez (hamstring) and Yasiel Puig (hamstring) remain on the DL. The 24-year-old has already provided three homers in just 24 at-bats since joining the Dodgers as a September call-up, but his more modest production at Triple-A Oklahoma City this season suggests he'll earn nothing more than a part-time role in the outfield over the final few weeks.

Schebler went 1-for-4 with a leadoff home run in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Angels.
Schebler's numbers in Triple-A are nothing special, but Dodgers manager Don Mattingly has shown a willingness to ride the hot hand. With Enrique Hernandez on the disabled list and Carl Crawford dealing with a back injury, Schebler may receive some playing time as the season winds down.
Wed Sep 2 201519:15Schebler recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday
Schebler was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The jump up to Triple-A this season saw Schebler's OPS drop nearly 200 points from his mark at Double-A a year ago (from .921 to .731), but he still managed 13 homers, 15 steals, and a strikeout rate under 20 percent. Chances are, the 24-year-old will serve merely as a depth option over the final month and return to Oklahoma City to start 2016.

Schebler is batting a disappointing .246/.317/.426 for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
After last year's .921 OPS in Double-A, Schebler has stalled a bit in Triple-A. He has the upside of a fourth outfielder at this point it seems.
Sat Jun 6 201518:28Schebler optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City
Schebler has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.
Just one day after being called up to the Dodgers, Schebler was sent back down to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Schebler collected one hit in three at-bats Friday against St. Louis, but with Yasiel Puig's activation off the disabled list, there simply wasn't room on the 25-man roster for him.
