Tue Nov 16 201002:57Outlaw scores 23 points vs. Clippers
Travis Outlaw had one of his 'good' nights and scored 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting (including four threes) with five rebounds, two assists, and a block in 33 minutes against the Clippers on Monday.
He had a lot of factors working for him on Monday, including the fact that Devin Harris got ejected, Anthony Morrow played limited minutes after falling on his tailbone, and Terrence Williams (groin) was out. He should be owned in your league, but due to his inconsistency you should hope it's not you.
Sat Nov 13 201022:52Outlaw goes off for 20 points on Saturday
Travis Outlaw scored 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting (4-of-5 from downtown) with seven rebounds, two assists, and a block in 46 minutes of action on Saturday.
When you average out the roller coaster production, he ends up giving very low-end value in a standard-sized fantasy league. Aside from not knowing what you're going to get, his minutes are going to get clipped whenever Terrence Williams returns.
Wed Nov 10 201023:31Travis Outlaw comes back to earth
Travis Outlaw hit just 2-of-6 shots for five points in 31 minutes on Wednesday after scoring 27 in his previous game.
Outlaw is the league's most inconsistent player, going for 5, 18, 0, 6, 17, 5, 27 and 5 points in his eight games this season. Enter at your own risk.
Tue Nov 9 201022:40Outlaw explodes for 27 points, seven boards
Travis Outlaw exploded for 27 points on 11-of-22 shooting (4-of-7 from downtown) with seven rebounds, one assist, and one block in 42 minutes as the Nets lost to the Cavs by the score of 93-91.
Granted, Terrence Williams (abdominal strain) was not available which gave him a bunch of extra run, but he should be picked up in most scenarios for the chance that he can build off this performance. And if you own him, it's a great game to sell-high with.
Sun Oct 31 201015:49Outlaw held scoreless against Heat
Travis Outlaw was held scoreless against the Heat on Sunday, as he missed on all five of his field goal attempts. In his 21 minutes as a starter, he managed just four rebounds and one steal.
Outlaw followed up an 18-point effort on Friday with a dreadful offensive display on Sunday. If you own Outlaw, be prepared to take the good with the bad.
Fri Oct 29 201023:06Travis Outlaw finally breaks out of funk
Travis Outlaw hit 5-of-9 shots and two 3-pointers for 18 points and five rebounds in Friday's loss.
This is what the Nets were hoping for when they signed him over the summer. Now we'll just have to see if this was a fluke, or if he's ready to start contributing on a nightly basis. Keep an eye on him and remember that he struggled in the preseason, and hit just 1-of-7 shots for five points in the opener.
Wed Oct 27 201022:25Outlaw struggles again in opener
Travis Outlaw hit just 1-of-7 shots for five points in Wednesday's win over the Pistons.
This line was eerily similar to most of his preseason lines and we wonder how long he can hold off Terrence Williams for the starting job. Because of Outlaw's shakiness as a starter, Williams should be owned in all leagues.
Tue Oct 19 201022:45Outlaw struggles again for Nets
Travis Outlaw, the Nets starting small forward, hit just 1-of-4 shots for five points, three rebounds, three assists and a 3-pointer in Tuesday's loss.
Outlaw was averaging close to 10 points coming in, but is a shaky fantasy option. He's probably better suited to coming off the bench, and it may only be a matter of time before Avery Johnson comes to that conclusion and replaces him with Terrence Williams.
Tue Oct 19 201007:30Outlaw to start at small forward for Nets
Travis Outlaw has been selected to start at small forward by coach Avery Johnson.
He is averaging 9.7 pts, 5.5 rebs, 1.8 asts, 0.5 stls, 0.8 blks, and 1.6 treys per game in the preseason, which is very close to what we've projected for him this year (except for threes, which we have at 1.0 per game). He deserves to go in about Round 11, but his ADP has him going in Round 12.

Wed Oct 13 201022:44Outlaw struggles for Nets
Travis Outlaw, who is expected to start at small forward for the Nets, hit just 3-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for seven points and six rebounds on Wednesday.
He hasn't exactly been tearing it up in preseason and looks like a pretty poor fantasy option, at least as of now.
Wed Oct 6 201012:53Outlaw set to start at small forward
Travis Outlaw is expected to start at small forward for the Nets.
Outlaw was primarily a backup power forward during his seven seasons with the Blazers. But in 32 career starts, Outlaw has averaged 12.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 3-pointers, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks. It's that kind of versatility that makes him in intriguing option with starter's minutes. Consider Outlaw a value pick deep in drafts.

Wed Jul 14 201017:18Nets officially sign Outlaw, Farmar, Petro
Nets officially announced the signings of Travis Outlaw, Jordan Farmar and Johan Petro.
The prizes of New Jersey's disappointing offseason. Terms of the deals weren't announced, but Outlaw's deal is believed to be five years, $35 million, Farmar's for three years and $12 million and Petro's for three years, $10 million. Of the three, Outlaw has the best shot to come in and make an immediate fantasy impact.

Thu Jul 8 201011:27Nets agree to terms with Travis Outlaw
ESPN is reporting that the Nets have agreed to a five-year, $35 million contract with free-agent forward Travis Outlaw.
Outlaw could end up starting where the Nets were hoping LeBron James was going to fit. He's a career bench player, but is now a fantasy sleeper in New Jersey.
Tue Jul 6 201009:03Outlaw on the Raptors radar?
Travis Outlaw, Linas Kleiza and Josh Childress are all on the Raptors' radar as mid-level exception guys, a source tells beat writer Doug Smith.
It's not surprising that the Raptors are linked to two guys that have been playing in Europe. They have likely been scouting Kleiza and Childress overseas. Outlaw still has good upside despite being dumped on the Clippers midway through last season. None would be difference-makers on a Chris Bosh-less team.

Travis Outlaw returned to action on Monday April 12.
Sun Apr 11 201019:47Outlaw (groin) probable for Monday's game
Travis Outlaw (groin) is probable to play in Monday's game against the Mavs.
Depending on the status of Eric Gordon who is questionable with a viral infection, among others, owners can make a decision as to whether or not he's worth a Hail Mary in deeper leagues. However, that's digging deep for a guy that hasn't done much when healthy.

Fri Apr 9 201001:12Outlaw (groin) does not play Thursday
Travis Outlaw (groin) did not play Thursday against the Kings.
At this rate he may not make it back onto the court this year, and even if he does, he hasn't shown us enough production to warrant much fantasy consideration.
Wed Apr 7 201009:11Travis Outlaw out Wednesday
Travis Outlaw will miss Wednesday's game against the Blazers due to a strained groin.
He picked up the injury on Saturday against Denver. Outlaw is a fringe asset at best so avoid him.

Sun Apr 4 201021:54Outlaw (groin) out for Sunday's game vs. NYK
Travis Outlaw (groin) did not play Sunday against the Knicks.
He hasn't done too much to inspire excitement in fantasy leagues, and owners can feel free to pay him no attention as we wrap up the fantasy year.

Sun Apr 4 201000:22Travis Outlaw leaves with strained groin
Travis Outlaw scored 12 points for the Clippers on Saturday, but he never returned after straining his groin in the fourth quarter.
Outlaw is playing a bit part off the bench these days anyway, so this shouldn't impact many fantasy squads. Consider him questionable for Sunday.
