Bosh (blood clots on lungs) looked good in player-organized practices this week, the Miami Herald reports.
Bosh was diagnosed with blood clots on his lungs in mid-February and ended up getting ruled out for the remainder of the season. He appears on track to be ready for training camp at the end of September, so it seems like he'll be ready for Opening Night, but until an official timeline comes down from the Heat, some level of ambiguity will remain with this situation.
Tue Jun 2 201515:29Bosh (chest) on court going through drills Tuesday
Bosh (chest) was on the court going through drills Tuesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Bosh is yet to begin contact work, but he has not suffered any setbacks and figures to be ready in advance of the start of training camp. While Bosh dealt with a serious blood clot issue last season, the positive in the situation is that he's not recovering from a debilitating injury, so most of his offseason work will be geared toward conditioning.
Tue May 12 201520:35Chris Bosh: (Chest) Will Be Ready At The Start Of Next Season
Bosh (chest) stated on NBA TV Tuesday that he will be ready on opening night for next season.
This is great news for the Heat, as while it was expected that Bosh would be able to make a full recovery from his collapsed lung, his exact timetable was still up in the air. Now, with it confirmed that he will be ready to play in the first game of next season, Bosh will look to reassert himself as one of the best scoring forwards in the league and guide Miami back to the playoffs.

Bosh played in 44 regular season games before being hospitalized after suffering from a blood clot in one of his lungs. He was forced to sit out the final 30 games of the season, but in the 44 games he did play, he still managed to average 21.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He is expected to make a full recovery heading into next season.
This was the first year of Bosh's new five-year, $118 million contract, and while health concerns got the best of him this year, it appears as if Bosh will serve as the main offensive threat for Miami for at least the next few seasons. However, Bosh may be playing a slightly different role next season with the emergence of big man Hassan Whiteside. Bosh had grown accustomed to playing the center position, but now, with Whiteside proving is worth as a starting center on both ends of the floor, it is very likely that Bosh moves back to the power forward position, a spot on the floor he played for many years before. Regardless, next season, as long as he can stay healthy, Bosh will look to regain his place as one of the best scoring forwards in the NBA and lead the Heat back to the playoffs.
Fri Apr 17 201512:07Bosh (chest) has begun lifting and running
Bosh (chest) has begun lifting and running, Joe Goodman of the Miami Herald reports.
Bosh, who missed most of the second half of the season with a blood clot, remains on blood thinners, so he's unable to take contact. For the time being, he'll stick to lifting and running before resuming basketball activities over the summer. Bosh told reporters Friday that he hasn't shot a basketball since the All-Star break.

Bosh (chest) is scheduled to resume full basketball activities in September, Ethan Skolnick of Bleacher Report reports.
Bosh is doing well after a blood clot was discovered in his lung shortly after the All-Star break, but he's on a blood thinner regimen that will prevent him from participating in any contact. It's unknown when he'll be able to begin ramping up activity, but if all goes as planned, Bosh should be ready to go when the 2015-16 season opens in late-October.
Sat Feb 28 201518:05Bosh (chest) released from hospital Friday
Bosh (chest) was released from the hospital Friday, the Miami Herald reports.
The development is great for Bosh's general welfare, but his 2014-15 campaign is nonetheless over due to blood clots in his lung.
Sat Feb 21 201516:45Chris Bosh: (Chest) Out For Rest Of 2014-15 Season
Bosh (chest) will miss the remainder of the season as he deals with blood clots on his lung.
This news was all but expected as Bosh has been hospitalized for the better part of a week. The Heat said Saturday that Bosh's prognosis is good but he's still being treated at a local Miami hospital.
Fri Feb 20 201511:05Chris Bosh: (Lung) Confirms Blood Clot
Bosh (chest) confirmed Friday morning that he has a blood clot in one of his lungs, NBA TV's Jared Zwerling reports.
Bosh will miss an extended period of time, quite possibly even the rest of this season. No timeline has been provided, but recovery from such a serious issue often takes upward of six months. The Heat are in no position to replace Bosh, with the team's lack of depth especially obvious in the frontcourt. Hassan Whiteside will likely take on an even larger role, while Chris Andersen, Udonis Haslem, Luol Deng, James Ennis and Henry Walker are all candidates to get extra minutes. The Heat may need to further explore the free agent market, after signing Walker to a 10-day contract Friday.
Fri Feb 20 201501:01Chris Bosh: (Chest) May Have Blood Clot
Bosh (chest) may be dealing with a blood clot in his lung, the Miami Herald reports.
The report is preliminary, however, but it would be a huge blow and scare for the Heat if Bosh is indeed suffering from that issue. The story will likely unfold more over the next couple of days, so owners should monitor the situation closely.
Thu Feb 19 201523:23Chris Bosh: (Illness) Hospitalized With Chest Pain
Bosh (illness) was hospitalized in Miami on Thursday due to chest and lung pain, the Miami Herald reports.
Bosh isn't traveling with the team to New York on Friday, and for good reason. It's unclear exactly what is going on but it appears to be related to the chest and lung area, and is likely due to the illness. It's unclear how long the issue will sideline Bosh, but his status for Friday's game against the Pelicans is probably questionable at best.
Thu Feb 19 201516:58Bosh (illness) will not make trip to New York for Friday's game
Bosh (illness) will not make the trip to New York for Friday's game, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Bosh has been ill since the Heat resumed practice Wednesday, and he's sat out the last two sessions. Consider him questionable to play Saturday when the Heat return home to face the Pelicans.
Thu Feb 19 201513:36Bosh (illness) missed practice for second straight day Thursday
Bosh (illness) missed practice for the second straight day Thursday.
Bosh visited with a doctor rather than practicing, and the team is listing him as questionable to travel to New York for Friday's game. If he doesn't make the trip, Udonis Haslem or Chris Andersen are the top candidates to start in his place.
Wed Feb 18 201516:47Bosh missed practice Wednesday due to illness
Bosh missed practice Wednesday due to illness, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Coach Erik Spoelstra said he's unsure if Bosh is dealing with the flu or some other ailment, but the big man should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Knicks until further notice.
Mon Feb 16 201511:21Bosh says he hurting
Bosh says he is hurting, but it's something he can play through, Turner Sports' Ethan J. Skolnick reports.
Bosh indicated his side/ribs are ailing, but it seems he will be able to play through the discomfort. Most players in the NBA are dealing with something at this point in the season, but it's worth noting that Bosh is banged up. The Heat start the second half with a back-to-back set Friday and Saturday.

Bosh scored a game-high 32 points (12-23 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT) with six assists in 37 minutes in the win over New York on Monday.
Since scoring 34 points on Feb. 3 in the loss to the Pistons, Bosh had put up a pair of 14-point games. His scoring success appears to depend somewhat on whether he is making 3-pointers. He has only averaged 4.8 rebounds in his last five games.

Bosh scored 34 points (14-23 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 Ft) with three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 34 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Pistons.
Another huge night for Bosh went to waste, as with Dwayne Wade (hamstring) sidelined the rest of the Heat just can't give their one remaining star the support he needs. Expect Bosh to continue putting up big, futile numbers on a regular basis while Wade is out.

Bosh went off for 18 points (6-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), to go with seven rebounds, and two assists, and a block in 35 minutes on Sunday.
Over the last five games Bosh is averaging 19 points, six rebounds, 0.4 steals, and 0.4 rebounds over the past five games. His defensive stats haven't been the highlight of this season and with Whiteside picking up most of the dirty work around the boards Bosh finished January outside of the top-50 on the Player Rater. He's still one of the best players in the game, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on going forward.

Bosh scored 17 points (7-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds, two assists and a block in 34 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Hornets.
Over his last six games, Bosh is now averaging 21.8 points, 7.2 boards, 1.5 threes and 1.0 steals, numbers nearly identical to his numbers on the season. The rest of the roster has been in flux around him, but Bosh has remained a dependable weapon for the Heat.

Bosh scored 34 points (13-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), backed up by seven rebounds, and two assists in 39 minutes on Sunday.
Bosh led his team in scoring on Sunday to help get the victory over the Clippers. Since returning from injury he seems to have regained his form in terms of rebounding and shooting from distance. However, he's yet to really leave his mark in defensive numbers. He never posted crazy averages, but it's something to take note of going forward.
