Fri Nov 8 201301:04Jordan Farmar scores 11 with seven dimes
Jordan Farmar was productive in his 20 minutes against the Rockets on Thursday, scoring 11 points with five boards, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.
He and the second unit were running in a vintage D'Antoni style. Coincidentally, Farmar had an 11-point, seven-dime night on Tuesday against Dallas. There's a good chance Steve Nash sits on Friday, so Farmar is worth a look as a spot-start or as a value play in FanDuel.

Mon Nov 4 201301:11Jordan Farmar plays just 19 minutes
Jordan Farmar played 19 minutes in Sunday's 105-103 victory over the Hawks, shooting 2-of-8 from the field for five points with five boards, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.
Steve Nash looked somewhat healthy tonight and wasn't useless on defense, so coach Mike D'Antoni didn't need to call upon Farmar too much. He played just 16 minutes on Friday after averaging 26.5 minutes per game in the first two, so there should be some concern about a consistent role. His fantasy value looks like it'll remain dormant until Nash misses time.

Sat Nov 2 201303:57Farmar productive in limited minutes
Jordan Farmar scored seven points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds and four assists in 16 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Spurs.
Farmar doesn't do defense so he needs big popcorn numbers to hold his value in standard leagues, but the good news is that he was productive tonight and Steve Nash feels like he could topple over at any time. Drop Farmar if you must, but he could be running the point at some point in the future for the Lakers.

Thu Oct 31 201302:46Jordan Farmar scores 12 in garbage time
Jordan Farmar struggled against the Warriors, but came on late for 12 points, three rebounds, five assists and a 3-pointer on 5-of-13 shooting.
That's better than nothing, and with Steve Nash banged up and nearly 40 years old, we recommend holding Farmar, despite tonight's struggles.

Wed Oct 30 201302:02Jordan Farmar plays 27 minutes, scores 16
Jordan Farmar didn't skip a beat after going overseas last year with a 16-point game during a win over the Clippers on Tuesday to go with four boards, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
He was great in getting his teammates the ball in an advantageous position and was comfortable in coach Mike D'Antoni's offense. Steve Nash isn't going to play with his age catching up to him, so Farmar is worth a look in standard leagues.

Wed Oct 23 201301:27Jordan Farmar scores 20 in win
Jordan Farmar hit 5-of-7 shots, 8-of-9 free throws and two 3-pointers for 20 points, one rebound, three assists and a block in Tuesday's preseason win.
Farmar certainly qualifies as a sleeper as Steve Nash is looking every bit of 39 years old. Farmar will have to beat out Steve Blake for some of Nash's minutes, but at this point, he looks like he might be the best point guard to own for the Lakers right now.

Fri Oct 18 201310:09Jordan Farmar comes back from calf issue
Jordan Farmar (calf) scored nine points with one rebound, four assists, four steals and four turnovers in 23 minutes.
His 23 minutes were more than any other player on the Laker bench, so he looks to be the third point guard behind Steve Nash and Steve Blake. Farmar seems pretty happy about his return to the Lakers and could see a handful of minutes this year while the team isn't at 100 percent.

Sun Oct 13 201309:05Jordan Farmar still out with strained calf
Jordan Farmar (strained calf) is "making progress" but he has no clear return date.
The veteran guard continues to rehab without pushing himself too hard, lest he aggravate the strain. The Lakers have four remaining preseason games on Oct. 15, 18, 22 and 25.

Tue Oct 8 201320:50Jordan Farmar out for Tuesday night
Jordan Farmar (calf) will not play in Tuesday's preseason game.
He is dealing with a strain and isn't well enough to give it a go against the Nuggets. Farmar could make his way into the rotation with some injuries, but he's not on the fantasy radar.

Sun Oct 6 201319:56Jordan Farmar out Sunday with calf cramps
Jordan Farmar won't play on Sunday due to calf cramps.
Mike D'Antoni already planned to rest him more in the second of back-to-back exhibitions, after Farmar logged 28 bench minutes in Saturday's win vs. Golden State. There's a good chance he'll be in uniform for Tuesday's matchup with Denver.

Sat Jul 20 201313:14Jordan Farmar gave up a lot to sign with LAL
Jordan Farmar estimates he gave up between $5 and $10 million in order to get out of his contract in Turkey.
Farmar signed a one-year deal with the Lakers last week after L.A. coughed up $500,000 to help facilitate his Turkish buyout. "I just really wanted to make a sacrifice to be here. Not everyone is able to call the Lakers up and they take you," Farmar said. "I thought it was important to do my part to make that happen. If that was sacrificing some dollars today, it was worth it for me."

Wed Jul 17 201321:18Lakers officially sign Jordan Farmar
The Lakers officially signed G Jordan Farmar on Wednesday.
This was just a formality and he's now on a one-year deal with the Lakers. He played his first four seasons with the Lakers and had his Turkish deal bought out to make this one happen. It's doubtful that Farmar will be worth owning in most fantasy leagues.

Wed Jul 10 201302:13Jordan Farmar to sign with Lakers
Guard Jordan Farmar has agreed to sign a one-year, veteran minimum deal with the Lakers.
Farmar played his first four seasons with the Lakers after being drafted in 2006 and then spent parts of two seasons with the Nets. The Lakers will have to work out a buyout with his Turkish team, but that doesn't sound like it will be a problem. Farmar will be a role player for the Lakers, and isn't likely to have much fantasy value, if any.

Wed Jul 3 201311:17Jordan Farmar works out w/ NBA teams
Jordan Farmar, who has a buyout in his contract with Anadolu Efes in Turkey, recently worked out for an undisclosed number of NBA teams.
Farmar has been linked to the Lakers and he would likely draw interest from plenty of teams eager to acquire an affordable backup guard. A report on EuroHoops.net points out that Anadolu Efes is eager to shed salary, so they may agree to waive Farmar's $500k buyout in order to escape the two years left on his contract.

The Lakers have had "some contact" with PG Jordan Farmar, but he is currently under contract in Turkey with a $500k buyout.
Farmar inked a three-year, $15 million overseas and he'd be taking a big pay cut if he decided to opt out and return to the NBA.

Free agent Jordan Farmar wants back in the NBA.
Last July, Farmar signed a three-year, $15 million contract with a Turkish team. But he has an opt-out clause after every season and certainly can be an NBA backup. Farmar won two NBA titles with the Lakers and averaged 13.4 points to go with 7.5 assists in his 25 career starts.

Jordan Farmar is expected to sign with the Turkish team Anadolu Efes Istanbul once the Hawks buy out his contract, which could happen as early as July 11.

Mon Jul 2 201221:25Jordan Farmar expected to be bought out
Jordan Farmar is expected to be bought out by the Hawks once the trade that will send Joe Johnson to the Nets is finalized.
Farmar wasn't going to get much run in Atlanta behind Jeff Teague and Devin Harris, so he's probably happy with the move. It will also shave a little more salary off the Hawks payroll, which has been a running theme on Monday.
