Sat Mar 3 201200:22Farmar (groin) returns to action on Friday
Jordan Farmar (groin) returned to action on Friday, scoring seven points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with one rebound, one assist, and one steal in 14 minutes.
Farmar may work his way back into the rotation and produce some interesting lines from time to time, but he'll need an injury in front of him before he provides any real fantasy value.

Fri Mar 2 201218:20Jordan Farmar to return for Nets
Jordan Farmar is expected back from his groin injury on Friday.
He missed four games, but should be back in action tonight, although his fantasy value isn't great as long as Deron Williams and MarShon Brooks are healthy.

Fri Mar 2 201211:06Jordan Farmar again game-time call on Friday
Jordan Farmar (groin) is a game-time decision on Friday.
Farmar feels better, but he's still listed as a game-time call. Avery Johnson reportedly sounded more optimistic on Farmar playing, but we'll have to wait until just before tipoff to get official word.

Tue Feb 28 201212:19Jordan Farmar officially game-time call Tues.
Jordan Farmar (groin) is listed as a game-time decision on Tuesday, but he's unlikely to play.
It sounds like Farmar will only be asked to play if it's an emergency situation. With Anthony Morrow and MarShon Brooks now both healthy, Farmar has limited value and isn't a recommended play in standard-sized leagues.

Sun Feb 19 201221:29Jordan Farmar ruled out through A.S. break
Jordan Farmar had an MRI on Sunday and has been ruled out through the All-Star break with a strained right groin.
Farmar has played well for the Nets this season, but when Anthony Morrow and MarShon Brooks are healthy his value is too limited for use in average fantasy leagues.

Sun Feb 19 201217:40Jordan Farmar (groin) out through AS break
Jordan Farmar will not play on Sunday due to a groin injury, and the Nets don't expect to have him back until after the All-Star break.
Farmar had been playing well prior to getting hurt, but he just can't seem to stay healthy. He should only be owned in the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Thu Feb 16 201222:21Farmar (groin) plays just two minutes
Jordan Farmar (groin) returned to action but played just two minutes on Thursday.
Farmar can be dropped in standard formats for the hassle he's going to be until he proves his worth. Owners in deep leagues will likely want to wait until he shows he can stay on the court before considering him for active lineups.

Thu Feb 16 201219:13Farmar (groin) to play on Thursday vs. IND
Jordan Farmar (groin), who was doubtful to play, is now going to suit up for Thursday's game against the Pacers.
Farmar had been going pretty well before his surprise scratch on Wednesday, but he should be restricted to deep league spot-starts with the risk that he aggravates the injury during the game.

Thu Feb 16 201217:42Jordan Farmar a game-time call
Jordan Farmar (groin) remains a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Pacers.
Farmar is taking this one right up to tip-off. If active, he'll fight for minutes off the bench along with Anthony Morrow.

Thu Feb 16 201200:07Farmar 'hopes' to play on Thursday
Jordan Farmar (groin) said that he "hopes" to play on Thursday against the Pacers.
"I'd like to play tomorrow, if not, we'll shoot for Saturday," Farmar said. He was probably dropped in many leagues following tonight's absence, but when he returns he'll be a candidate for spot-duty after a string of productive games. That's probably all he should be qualified for given the return of MarShon Brooks.

Wed Feb 15 201219:43Farmar out on Wednesday with groin strain
Jordan Farmar will not play on Wednesday due to a right groin strain.
Farmar had been rolling along but the walls were closing in with MarShon Brooks and DeShawn Stevenson getting back into action. This could be a sign that it's time to drop him, though we don't know if the injury is serious or not.

Sat Feb 11 201223:04Jordan Farmar plays well off Nets' bench
Jordan Farmar returned to the bench on Saturday, replaced in the starting five by MarShon Brooks.
The good news is that Farmar took the change in stride, scoring 12 points with two 3s, six rebounds, seven assists and zero turnovers in 31 minutes. He isn't likely to crack 30 minutes too often coming off the bench, but he's rolling right now with eight consecutive games in double-digit points.

Sat Feb 11 201201:53Farmar starts; scores 14 points in loss
Jordan Farmar started at shooting guard on Friday, scoring 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting (3-of-3 from deep) with one rebound, three assists, one steal, and five turnovers in 26 minutes.
The Nets lost to the Pistons and MarShon Brooks (toe) returned tonight, with Brooks playing 17 minutes in a quiet outing. Farmar has played well enough to be owned and started in many leagues, but it's hard to bank on him keeping it up when Brooks gets up to full speed and Anthony Morrow (0-for-7 FGs) starts hitting shots. DeShawn Stevenson's (knee) eventual return isn't great news, either.

Thu Feb 9 201200:47Jordan Farmar plays well 22 points
Jordan Farmar came off the bench and hit 8-of-13 shots and three 3-pointers for 22 points and three assists on Wednesday.
Anthony Morrow wasn't feeling it, Shawne Williams really struggled, allowing Farmar to start the second half and play 37 minutes, while Keith Bogans left with a foot injury. Once MarShon Brooks is back from his foot injury, which should be soon, Morrow and Brooks should be the starting wings, leaving Farmar on the bench. But despite that fact, he's playing well enough to be grabbed in many leagues, averaging 16 points, four assists and two threes over his last five games.

Tue Feb 7 201202:03Farmar scores 11 points with five assists
Jordan Farmar scored 11 points on 5-of-14 shooting (including a three) with five assists in 33 minutes off the bench on Monday.
This is a good idea of what to expect from Farmar while Anthony Morrow (personal) and/or MarShon Brooks (toe) are out. Brooks' status will be updated on Sunday, and while he hasn't conceded that he'll be out for the duration -- we'd tend to think he will be.

Mon Feb 6 201216:45Jordan Farmar doing well with chances
Jordan Farmar is averaging 13.7 points, 3.8 assists and 1.6 3-pointers over his last 10 games.
Farmar has it going right now and also has an opportunity for major minutes thanks to all the Nets' two-guard injuries. MarShon Brooks (toe), Anthony Morrow (personal) and DeShawn Stevenson (knee) are all sidelined for Monday's game against the Bulls. Farmar is a good bet for 25-30 minutes whether he starts at shooting guard or not.

Sat Feb 4 201222:10Jordan Farmar scores 19 pts off Nets' bench
Jordan Farmar scored 19 points in 25 minutes off the Nets' bench on Saturday, making 7-of-13 FGs (including three 3-pointers).
Farmar also dished out three assists and had one steal. He's a solid backup PG and is earning more minutes with the Nets so shorthanded, making him worth a look in standard 12-team leagues.

Sat Feb 4 201202:28Farmar posts nice line off of the bench
Jordan Farmar scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting (no threes) with three rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in 30 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Farmar has put up some productive lines recently, but coming off the bench with MarShon Brooks (toe) coming back and Anthony Morrow surging there's no reason to make an add in 12-team formats. If you're in a deeper league and want to take a flier or use him for short-term work while guys are out, feel free.

Sun Jan 29 201221:42Farmar cools off in return of MarShon
Jordan Farmar had eight points and two assists on 3-of-9 shooting in 20 minutes on Sunday.
MarShon Brooks returned from a three-game absence and it's no coincidence that Farmar was quiet. He'll still have an occasional big game, but will be too inconsistent to use in most leagues.

Fri Jan 27 201222:39Farmar scores 11 points with seven assists
Jordan Farmar scored 11 points on 5-of-12 shooting (including a three) with seven assists and a steal in 24 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Farmar has stepped up with MarShon Brooks (Achilles) out and he will take a significant hit when Brooks returns. Give him a look if you need spot-help.
