Jordan Farmar hit just 1-of-5 shots (a 3-pointer) for four points and three assists in 21 minutes of Thursday's 142-94 loss to the Clippers.

This was the biggest win in Clippers history and the biggest loss in Lakers history. Farmar's five-game week, along with his teammates', has quickly disintegrated, but we can only hope things change on Friday against the Nuggets. After such an embarrassing loss, the fact the Lakers have to get on a plane and go to Denver is not a good thing, so it's anyone's guess as to whether things get better tomorrow night or not. For now, just hold onto Farmar and hope for the best.

Despite posting 10 or more assists in three of his past four games, Kendall has been outplayed by Farmar as of late and could cede his starting spot to him Thursday night. "He could start. We'll talk about it," D'Antoni said of Farmar. "I like him playing 25-30 minutes whether he starts or not. Then whoever plays well will finish the game." Neither player should see much of a change to their recent stats, but Farmar owners certainly can't complain about this news.

Farmar has hit 19 of his last 32 shots from deep and there will likely be a nasty regression there, and he also shared a bucket of minutes with Kendall Marshall (19 min) tonight -- a pattern that has been in a place prior to tonight. Farmar needs to play about 25 mpg to hold late round value for owners and one way or another he'll be picked up after this effort. Owners may want to hedge their bets and assign him a early-late round ceiling to accommodate for Marshall's presence, but Farmar has the look of a guy that can get those minutes.

The 2.0 treys do jump out there, but fantasy owners can probably leave him on the wire for now with the injury concerns and low demand for his services.

The Lakers second unit was phenomenal tonight and Farmar put up decent numbers considering he didn't have the ball too much. He is usually very active with the rock in his time with the Lakers and has turned in some nice per-minute averages. Kendall Marshall seems entrenched as the starter, but it's not too wild to think Farmar can score in the low double-digit points with enough treys, steals and assists to be relevant in standard leagues.

Kendall Marshall and Steve Blake should be busy tonight.

Worst case, it makes sense to pick him up on Thursday and stash him through the break while there are no games being played. Kendall Marshall should be the main man in the second unit.

He has really excelled while he's been on the court and it's not too bad of an idea to stash him for those who can afford it.
