Thu Jan 17 201301:41Thomas Robinson quiet in 8 minutes
Thomas Robinson played with a wrap on his wrist after his car accident on Tuesday night, but lasted just eight minutes and had zero points and two rebounds.
T-Rob was hot coming in, averaging 11 points and 8.5 rebounds over his previous two games, and had six or more rebounds in five straight. Jason Thompson has been awful over the last week and we could be ready to witness a changing of the guard at power forward for the Kings, despite Robinson's disappearing act tonight.

Tue Jan 15 201317:14Thomas Robinson practices day after car crash
Kings rookie PF Thomas Robinson practiced Tuedsay, one day after his car crash.
Robinson said he tried to take a turn too wide and ended up over the center divide. He emerged completely unscathed and his Porsche was not totaled. The No. 5 overall pick will be available for his usual 15-20 minutes off the bench when the Kings host the Wizards Wednesday.

Tue Jan 15 201306:08Thomas Robinson crashes car after game
Thomas Robinson wrecked his Porsche after Monday's game, but was not injured in the accident, despite the fact the airbags deployed.
The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. local time, so we doubt there is any foul play involved, at least as far as alcohol is concerned. It's unknown how fast he was going, but the bottom line is that Robinson is OK. He is playing well right now and had 12 points, seven boards and a block in a win over the Cavs on Monday. It was initially reported that it was Jason Thompson's car, but that report was inaccurate.

Tue Jan 15 201301:23Thomas Robinson scores 12 points Monday
Thomas Robinson matched his season high with 12 points to go with seven boards, two assists and one block in 28 minutes against the Cavs on Monday.
This was his second productive game in a row, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 boards in 24 minutes on Saturday. Although, that game was due to garbage time. Robinson is clearly improving and he's one the radar in deeper leagues. On the other hand, his gain could be a loss for Jason Thompson (six points and four boards in 22 minutes). Thompson owners shouldn't panic yet.

Tue Jan 8 201302:41Robinson grabs career-high 12 rebounds
Thomas Robinson grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in Monday's blowout loss, and also added eight points on 4-of-8 shooting with one steal and four turnovers.
Robinson is a candidate for worst decision-maker in the NBA right now, and though the Sacramento media might throw a party over this he has miles to go unless the Kings are going to just throw the ball out there and tank Major League style.

Fri Dec 7 201208:54Thomas Robinson trying to get back on track
Rookie Thomas Robinson said that he's "trying to get back to where I want to be."
"My rookie season's not going exactly as I envisioned it, but I'm just trying to work my way out of it," he said. Robinson is learning that he still needs to watch film in order to study the opposition, and it's a little frightening that he said "once I got to the league, I figured I don't need to watch tape of guys in the league." Robinson is averaging 5.1 points and 3.8 rebounds on 49.2 percent shooting.

Sat Dec 1 201204:00Robinson scores seven points with three blks
Thomas Robinson scored seven points on 2-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 25 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Robinson makes a number of terrible mistakes every night, but his athleticism is off the charts and with the right development he has a bright future. Just don't count on the Kings to be able to do that, and this season he'll have to contend with Jason Thompson all year.

Wed Nov 14 201200:40Thomas Robinson scores 12 after suspension
Thomas Robinson returned from a two-game suspension on Tuesday and had 12 points, four rebounds, a steal and zero blocks on 5-of-7 shooting.
He was helped by the fact DeMarcus Cousins was out, and only deserves a fantasy look in deeper leagues for now.

Thu Nov 8 201217:43Robinson suspended for elbow to Jerebko
Thomas Robinson has been suspended two games for his elbow to Jonas Jerebko.
If Robinson begins serving the suspension right away, he'll miss games on Friday and Sunday before returning next Wednesday. The rookie is averaging 4.4 points in five games so far this season.

Thu Nov 8 201200:24Thomas Robinson ejected for elbowing
Thomas Robinson elbowed Jonas Jerebko and was ejected from Wednesday's game.
There's no doubt that he will be fined for giving Jerebko a shiner and we'd venture a guess that he'll be suspended as well. He wasn't playing well on Wednesday with two points and seven boards in 12 minutes. There's very little reason to stash him in even deep leagues at this point.

Sat Nov 3 201222:28Thomas Robinson held to 12 bench minutes
Thomas Robinson played just 12 minutes off the bench on Saturday, finishing with nine points, zero rebounds and two steals.
Robinson had a nice energetic stretch in the second half, but Keith Smart clearly isn't ready to turn the rookie loose. Until that day comes, starter Jason Thompson (four points, two rebounds in 24 minutes) will have marginally more value.

Sat Nov 3 201205:28Robinson plays just 11 minutes on Friday
Rookie PF Thomas Robinson played just 11 minutes on Friday, scoring two points with four rebounds and two steals.
Robinson is a bit of a pill when it comes to knowing his role, and tonight when he decided to dribble the ball up instead of handing it to Jimmer Fredette, resulting in a turnover, he might have earned a low-minute night. We need to see consistency before advising owners to stash Robinson in a crowded frontcourt.

Fri Oct 26 201208:51Thomas Robinson excused for personal reasons
Thomas Robinson has been excused from the Kings for personal reasons.
Robinson wasn't with the team on Thursday, and although it's unclear when he'll return, it doesn't sound like he's in danger of missing the first game of the regular season. John Salmons (personal) also remained away from the team and is out indefinitely.
