Fri May 16 201416:25Thomas Robinson will play in Vegas
Thomas Robinson said he will play in Las Vegas Summer League in July.
He really made a splash in Vegas last year, averaging 10.4 points and 12.8 rebounds in 28.6 minutes per game. Robinson had a couple big games this season and he seems like he's found a home in Portland after things didn't work out in Sacramento and Houston, but he's still got a long way to go.

Mon Mar 31 201400:36Thomas Robinson shoots 4-of-4 in 15 minutes
Thomas Robinson made all four of his shot attempts in 15 minutes on Sunday, finishing a win vs. Memphis with eight points, three rebounds and one assist.
It looks as though Robinson will stick in the Blazers' rotation despite LaMarcus Aldridge's return, at least until Joel Freeland (MCL) returns to action. "Thomas has played with [Aldridge] which is something we hadn't looked at earlier in the season," said coach Terry Stotts. "I think we have to stay with that." While T-Rob's productive role is good news for the Blazers, it's irrelevant in most fantasy leagues.

Thu Mar 27 201422:05Thomas Robinson gets some run next to LMA
Thomas Robinson played 19 minutes off the bench on Thursday with 10 points, two boards, one assist and one steal vs. the Hawks.
Coach Terry Stotts tweaked his rotation a bit and gave T-Rob some run at center next to LaMarcus Aldridge. Robinson joked earlier this season about how he won't see many minutes while LaMarcus Aldridge is healthy, but it turned out he really didn't play much with Aldridge out. He played a disappointing 13.9 minutes per game over his previous seven and we would have to see it again before suggesting him as an add.

Wed Mar 19 201401:42Thomas Robinson plays well in 16 minutes
Thomas Robinson played just 16 minutes off the bench on Tuesday, hitting 4-of-8 shots for nine points, nine rebounds, a steal and a block.
Dorell Wright is the safer play for as long as LaMarcus Aldridge is out with a back injury, but T-Rob could be a fantasy factor due to the Blazers' five-game schedule next week. Having said that, his low minutes are a big concern and he's probably not going to be reliable enough to actually put into a lineup. Especially if Aldridge is back next week.

Mon Mar 17 201409:28Thomas Robinson plays nine minutes on Sunday
Blazers forward Thomas Robinson played only nine minutes off the bench on Sunday, despite LaMarcus Aldridge's continued absence with a bruised back.
He finished with five points, four rebounds and one block but didn't help his cause by racking up three fouls during that span. Aldridge may miss more games but the early returns have been disappointing for Robinson, who doesn't belong on fantasy rosters unless Terry Stotts' rotations change dramatically on Tuesday.

Fri Mar 14 201423:20Thomas Robinson plays just seven minutes
Thomas Robinson played just seven minutes against the Pelicans on Friday with two points and three boards.
He didn't even check in until 1:13 left in the third quarter, which was a big surprise. The Blazers website did a story about him stepping up today and most signs pointed to him getting some run. Perhaps coach Terry Stotts wanted to use a stretch four in Dorell Wright to keep Anthony Davis out of the paint and maybe he can shed some light in the post-game. Robinson could bounce back, but we obviously wouldn't blame you for cutting him after this.

Thu Mar 13 201400:38Thomas Robinson scores one point in 11 mins.
Thomas Robinson scored just one point in 11 minutes vs. the Spurs on Wednesday during a 103-90 loss.
It was a bit of an underwhelming game considering LaMarcus Aldridge went down tonight, but coach Terry Stotts really sticks to his guns with respect to his rotations for a game plan. The last time we saw Robinson healthy and LMA hurt, he put up 14 points and 18 boards. He's not a sure thing, but he's the best bet for production based on Aldridge likely to miss time.

Sat Mar 8 201401:10Thomas Robinson (knee) returns on Friday
Thomas Robinson returned to the lineup against the Mavericks on Friday with 11 points, nine boards, one steal and two blocks in 20 minutes.
He was playing outstanding ball before an injury to his patellar tendon and the Blazers may be more inclined to give him more minutes. Of course, it's going to be tough for Robinson to get a lot of momentum with the Blazers starting frontcourt locked into their minutes. "Minute restriction? I play behind LaMarcus [Aldridge]. Of course I am," Robinson said before Friday's game. He's only on the radar in deeper leagues for now.

Wed Mar 5 201409:33Thomas Robinson still rehabbing strained knee
Thomas Robinson (left patella tendon strain) went through a light workout on Tuesday but he remains without a return date.
"He's still in the process of rehabbing," said coach Terry Stotts. Robinson "seemed to move well" during his brief time on the court, according to beat writer Mike Tokito, but it doesn't sound as though he'll be ready to play the Hawks on Wednesday.

Fri Feb 28 201415:30Thomas Robinson (knee) did not practice
Thomas Robinson (knee) did not practice on Friday.
There is no update on his status for Saturday, but he's sounding a littler closer to doubtful. After exploding for a 14-point, 18-board game on Sunday, he was injured on Tuesday. LaMarcus Aldridge (groin) is likely going to return before Robinson, so he's not really worth owning in any league.

Wed Feb 26 201420:17Thomas Robinson (knee) won't play vs. BK
Thomas Robinson (knee) will not play against the Nets on Wednesday night.
The good news is that X-rays and an MRI were negative. He has an injury to his patellar tendon and should be considered questionable Saturday's game against the Nuggets. Dorell Wright played well on Tuesday and should get several minutes again tonight. Victor Claver should also see double-digit minutes for the Blazers who should be launching plenty of 3-pointers tonight.

Wed Feb 26 201400:09Thomas Robinson tweaks knee in win
Thomas Robinson suffered a knee injury on Tuesday and struggled to play through it, finishing with just two points, five rebounds and a block on 1-of-5 shooting in 14 minutes.
He's going to be iffy for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, but was at least able to attempt a return tonight. He went nuts with 14 points, 18 rebounds and two blocks on Sunday, but a knee injury would obviously ruin his fantasy value. LaMarcus Aldridge is also due back sooner than later from a groin injury, which will also hurt T-Rob's ability to post big numbers.

Tue Feb 25 201421:56Thomas Robinson tweaks knee early in game
Thomas Robinson suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of Tuesday game and is being checked out by the training staff on the bench.
It doesn't appear to be serious at this point, but that could change. Erik Gunderson commented on Twitter that his knee appeared to bend awkwardly, so we'll have to see if he's able to return to the game. He is a popular fantasy play right now after a big game on Sunday and LaMarcus Aldridge still out for the Blazers.

Mon Feb 24 201401:22Thomas Robinson turns in best game of career
Thomas Robinson checked in at 3:39 mark in the first quarter on Sunday and didn't look back against the Wolves, grabbing a career-high 18 boards with 14 points, two assists and two blocks in 33 minutes.
The Blazers spent a ton of time developing his game closer to the basket during Las Vegas Summer League and tonight they were able to reap the rewards. Robinson grabbed seven boards on the offensive glass and his improved conditioning has really shown up in the transition game as well. He'll likely fall off once LaMarcus Aldridge (groin) comes back, but T-Rob started the second half and we think he'll stay hot until LMA is back. He's a nice short-term add.

Thu Feb 20 201402:28Thomas Robinson gets 23 minutes off bench
Thomas Robinson came off the bench and played 23 minutes, finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds on Wednesday.
LaMarcus Aldridge will miss about a week with a groin injury (and maybe more) and Dorell Wright (20 minutes) got the start over Robinson tonight. The Blazers lost, but whether starting or coming off the bench, it looks like T-Rob and Wright will split minutes until Aldridge is back. Despite that fact, both players are worth a look for as long as Aldridge is out.

Wed Feb 19 201418:21T-Rob will come off the bench on Wednesday
Thomas Robinson will come off the bench on Wednesday night vs. the Spurs.
Dorell Wright is getting the start tonight. His skill as a rebounder has really helped his game get to a new level, but not having Aldridge around should hurt his usual style. Aldridge operates from further away from the basket, which opens up Robinson's ability to get more active on the offensive glass -- a commonality in Robin Lopez's game. Robinson should still get a nice increase in minutes, but he might not be the only player to benefit from LMA going down.
