G/F Kent Bazemore signed a contract extension with the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but earlier reports had it listed for four years and $70 million. Bazemore recorded single-season career highs in points (11.6) and rebounds (5.1) in 2015-16, which was his second season in Atlanta. Bazemore went undrafted out of Old Dominion and bounced around the league and spent time with Golden State's Development League team before being traded to the Lakers. He eventually signed with Atlanta, where he has become a stalwart defender and a solid scorer.
