Fri Feb 25 201111:05Bibby, Evans, Crawford iffy for Wiz on Friday
Newly acquired Wizards players Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans and Jordan Crawford were not able to participate in Friday's shootaround because the paperwork for the trade between Washington and Atlanta has not been finalized.
This leaves the status of all three up in the air heading into tonight's game, and fantasy owners should look for safer options. Bibby should hold value, for assists and 3-pointers if nothing else, but Evans and Crawford are sketchy options at best.

Thu Feb 24 201115:18Mike Bibby to seek buyout of contract
Mike Bibby intends to approach the Washington Wizards about buying out his contract.
It makes sense for Bibby who is nearing the end of his career and would be stuck on a team in the process of rebuilding. With his experience and leadership he should land on a competitive squad.

Wed Feb 23 201119:55Bibby sent packing for Washington
Mike Bibby was dealt to the Wizards in the Kirk Hinrich deal on Wednesday.
He'll back up John Wall and what little fantasy value he had is now shot.
Mon Feb 14 201122:42Bibby has a nice night against the Pistons
Mike Bibby scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting (including three treys) with six rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in Monday's easy win over the Pistons.
This is obviously a fluke, and he will settle back into obscurity as a low-end option in fantasy leagues.
Mon Feb 7 201118:08Bibby wearing down as season progresses
Mike Bibby admitted that he has worn down over the course of the season, but coach Larry Drew doesn't intend to cut his playing time.
"He may be experiencing a little [fatigue]," said Woodson. "And his legs may be a little tired...If I cut his minutes down, it will only be because of how the game is going." Bibby's defense is atrocious and his role as a playmaker has dwindled, so if he's not hitting open shots (4-of-19 from beyond 16 feet in February) he's certainly not going to help fantasy owners.

Thu Jan 27 201113:11Bibby misses practice, probable Friday
Mike Bibby (left hand) missed Thursday's practice but is probable for Friday's game against the Knicks.
Bibby had a X-ray on his non-shooting hand that came back negative. He'll be fine for about 30 minutes of empty stats on Friday.

Wed Jan 5 201103:26Bibby comes one rebound short of mark
Mike Bibby came one rebound short of his career-high in his return to Sacramento on Tuesday, netting 10 rebounds total, and also scoring nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (all three makes were threes) to go with four assists and two steals.
It's no surprise he had a nice night heading home to the favorable crowd in Sacto, but the rebounds are certainly out of left field. Backup Jeff Teague played just 28 seconds tonight, and Bibby has been the recipient of his inability to develop as projected.
Tue Dec 28 201016:57Bibby struggles to defend pick-and-roll.
Hawks coach Larry Drew recent conceded the obvious -- teams try to exploit Mike Bibby's poor pick-and-roll defense.
"We try and disguise some things to not have him as involved," said Drew. "He is not the only one. We have just got guys with the initial impact of the ball, they have a hard time with it." Jeff Teague is better defensively but isn't a "shotmaker" like Bibby, which has prevented him from assuming the starting gig.

Sun Dec 19 201016:30Bibby plays well in Hawks loss
Mike Bibby hit 8-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers for 19 points, five rebounds and five assists in Sunday's loss.
The Hawks lost at home to the Nets, which probably tells you how Bibby's teammates played today. Bibby has been up and down lately, but has still be a better fantasy player than we thought he would be this season.
Sat Dec 4 201023:07Bibby scores 10 points with six assists
Mike Bibby scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting with five rebounds, six assists, and two treys on Saturday.
He is producing at a low-end level every other game but don't be surprised if cleans it up and starts doing it 75 percent of the time with Joe Johnson out. Jeff Teague is still nowhere near threatening him, either.
Wed Dec 1 201023:29Bibby heats up late to lead Hawks to win
Mike Bibby hit three late 3-pointers to save Wednesday's game vs. the Grizzlies, finishing with 15 points, six assists and four 3-pointers in the win.
Bibby didn't do much until the fourth quarter, but he could be one of the beneficiaries to the loss of Joe Johnson for the next month or so. Jeff Teague was solid in his 15 minutes with eight points and five assists, so just keep your eye on him.
Sat Nov 27 201015:46Bibby hits four treys in win over Knicks
Mike Bibby hit 5-of-9 shots and four 3-pointers on his way to 14 points, three rebounds and four assists in Saturday's win over the Knicks.
Bibby was a popular start with five games this week and helped make up for a slow start with the four treys today. But unless you're in a very deep league there's probably no reason to own Bibby going forward.
Tue Nov 23 201010:30Bibby nursing Achilles injury
Coach Larry Drew said that Mike Bibby is still nursing an Achilles injury.
We wouldn't blame Bibby's lack of production on some minor heel soreness. At this point in his career, everything is sore. Bibby's lone fantasy value -- his 3-point shooting -- shouldn't be affected.

Sun Nov 21 201002:02Bibby scores 16 points vs. Mavericks
Mike Bibby scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including four 3-pointers) with one rebound and two assists in 24 minutes on Saturday.
Don't look now but he has scored 16 points in two straight games and hit seven treys over that time. If you can point out that Jeff Teague looks like he belongs in the D-League, you may find yourself an owner that's willing to take the aging one-time superstar of your hands.
Wed Nov 17 201000:02Bibby scores 16 points with three treys
Mike Bibby scored 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including three 3-pointers) with three rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 32 minutes on Tuesday.
He came into the game averaging just under 10 points and three rebounds per game, which just isn't getting it done in fantasy leagues. Jeff Teague played some strong defense, and hit two threes to finish with six points, three rebounds, and three assists in 12 minutes.
Tue Nov 16 201015:24Mike Bibby says he's being more aggressive
Mike Bibby says that he's "been more aggressive (this season...I'm getting to the basket a lot more than I did last year."
This supposed aggression isn't reflected statistically, as his numbers haven't changed much from last season. Curiously, he admitted that he "kind of took it easy last summer [2009]" because he was looking for a new contract.

Fri Nov 12 201022:26Bibby disappears as Hawks lose another
Mike Bibby had just two points and three assists in 26 minutes Friday.
He was used and abused by Deron Williams tonight, while Jeff Teague added nothing in 10 minutes. We have been down on Bibby all year and this is why. That said, he'll bounce back as long as he's getting those minutes.
Sat Nov 6 201000:43Bibby still beating odds for Hawks
Mike Bibby hit 5-of-11 shots and three 3-pointers for 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal in Friday's easy win over the Wolves.
Yes, it was the Wolves, but Bibby has been much more effective than we thought he would be. If you need a PG and he's out there, feel free to take a flier on him, although we still don't fully trust him.
Wed Nov 3 201023:33Bibby cools off in Wednesday's win
Mike Bibby had just four points and four assists in a win over the Pistons.
Jeff Teague had seven points, but just two assists off the bench tonight. Bibby will eventually fall out of favor for Teague and it's possible the transition started tonight. Just know that it's going to be a slow process if it happens.
Tue Nov 2 201021:54Bibby scores 15, just one assist
Mike Bibby had 15 points but just one assist in Tuesday's win over the Cavs.
Jeff Teague still isn't doing much, but Bibby's not exactly a fantasy juggernaut, either. Bibby can still be owned in many leagues, but don't hesitate to dump him as soon as Teague makes his move.
